Robert Payne Heating and Air replaced our 19 year old Trane heating system last week. They showed up on time and completed the job in just four hours. I reviewed their work when they finished and everything looked good. I set my system schedule to slowly increase the temperature during the day and to slowly decrease the temperature at night. Ive been watching the system like a hawk for the last week, and so far everything is working as expected. They also covered the floors to prevent tracking dirt on our floors. I would highly recommend Robert B. Payne Heating and Air.

Payne technicians replaced the compressor in our furnace under warranty and without charge as part of our service contract. We have been with Robert B. I wish I remembered his name but he quickly diagnosed the problem, had the part delivered to our home while he took the furnace apart, he was able to install the part as soon as it arrived and had us up and running in no time. Our Old HVAC system started giving us problems this past winter and we knew we were going to have to bite the bullet and replace our whole system. April 22nd my Unit went down and I went into a panic because it gets super hot here. I also have 3 kids with very bad allergies. So we started the calling process for estimates. The First place we called was Robert B. Payne. Marsha took the call and quickly sent us a wonderful man named Robbie. This was all done within 2 hours of our phone call. Robbie came out, showed up early and went through alot of options and prices. The sticker shock can be overwhelming but he was there to explain to us how we could afford it using a special financing options through Wells-Fargo. That process was very easy and absolutely no pressure from him at all. I asked him all kinds of questions including how fast can we get the job done, are your crews experienced, and is this really a good price? We all had a few laughs at my questions but he answered all of them with a smile. He left and I already knew this was the company I wanted to use. So I grabbed my computer got on to Wells Fargo and was approved within minutes. I had a few more questions because the interest rate was different then originally quoted online. So I called Marsha back and she walked me through the whole process. It wasnt different by the way. Then once I had the financing we scheduled for May 5 2022. My unit was still somewhat working so that timeline was perfect. Well 2 days later my unit no longer was able to cool at all. The forecast was calling for 89 and the pollen was out of this world. So I called back and this time I got Erin. She is just an angel and I swear we are just good friends now. She listened to my concerns and tried to get someone out sooner but every single crew was already running full time. But she didnt want us to suffer through the pollens and heat. SO she contacted her service team and they offered to bring me out a window unit FREE OF CHARGE. They came out that day and installed it for me. What an amazing thing to do for us. Then after that was taking care of I was thinking about those dang Pollens and I remembered my very good friend had an Air Scrubber and she just swears by them. So back on the phone I went and spoke to Erin. She patched me through to Robbie and we spoke about the Air scrubber and determined That YES this is what I wanted. He was able to offer me a great price and I added it to my order. Now all I had to do was wait till today May 5th for my install. The crew showed up at 7:30am ready to work. Everyone was so kind and introduced themselves to me. Ricky, Tommy, and Nick. They went straight to work. They all wore shoe guards so they did not get dirt on my carpet. Ricky explained everything to me before he got started. The paperwork was all neat and ready for signatures but he allowed me to look it over and ask any questions. I noticed the air scrubber was not the Ozone as I thought I was going to receive so he then called Rebecca and she said they would grab that one and run it to us but after speaking to the crew and Ricky I decided to go with this one. But at anytime I wanted the other one I could just call back. The install was pretty quick. Here at 7:30am and completed by 11:30am. Ricky even helped me set up my fancy new thermostat and showed me the app to download on my phone. Super Awesome by the way. After every thing was done He came upstairs reviewed everything and made sure I was happy and that all my questions were answered. They were. Then he said okay lets go take a tour of all the new equipment. WE did and it was beautiful. They left no mess and I am very happy. They did a great job and I highly recommend them.

This was our first A/C service using Robert B. Payne. They were easy to schedule and arrived right on time.The technician was friendly, polite and professional. He did a great job servicing our system.While servicing the condenser unit he noticed the coils were very dirty. He explained the cleaning process and offered me the options available to get the unit in peak condition.After I decided what I wanted to do he got right to work cleaning the unit. When he was done everything looked great.I’m looking forward to having them out to service our boiler in the fall.

Forgot to post this review months ago.Had another company (Total Comfort) come out to work on our system under warranty and quoted ridiculous prices and said our furnace was going to kill us along with trying to sell us a $5k air purifier.Nate came out and assured us our furnace was safe and just needed a little cleaning which he did for no extra charge. He even fixed a few things the other company overlooked.Don’t waste your time and money calling other companies, just give RobertBPayne a call.

Our heat pump was making a strange rattling noise. I called and they sent someone out the same day! Poor guy had to work in extreme heat but found the problem very quickly, a black snake had wound itself around the heat pump blades and died causing the rattling sounds. He quickly fixed the problem and everything was back to normal!!

We have had a number of HVAC technicians to our home the past year to repair what seems to be a poor quality product. With that being said, we’ve also had HVAC technicians come out and we trusted their work and paid costly invoices as a result, only to have additional issues reoccur shortly after.We decided to use this company instead and Ray Zimmerman was who they sent. This gentleman was extremely professional, courteous, respectful of our home and knowledgeable. Within minutes he was able to diagnose the problem, point out what a previous technician repaired incorrectly and then fixed it. The entire process took roughly 30 minutes and after, both my wife and I agreed that we are going to request Ray for any future HVAC issues that we need assistance with.

A technician named Ryan responded and, after professionally diagnosing the problem, quickly determined that there was a faulty sensor that needed to be replaced. Once repaired, Ryan finished servicing our system and thoroughly cleaned the unit leaving it sparkling clean. He then examined our inside unit making sure all was operationally sound, to include ensuring that the condensation drain was clear. In our minds, Ryan epitomized what it means to be an ideal HVAC technician. Accordingly, Ryan and Robert B. Payne deserve five stars. We highly recommend Robert B. Payne.

I was surprised because usually when a company provides a time window they usually arrive 15 minutes before the time ends. Not only was Andrew on time, but arrived earlier than expected. He was very polite, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions. I am very happy with the service received.

After he fixed the AC he identified there was no power going to the unit which was a separate issue but he was able to get the part he needed to also fix the electrical issue. After a nearly 10 year old Trane heat pump (XR13) experienced compressor failure (internals sheered and fused to the housing) I was faced with the choice of repairing or replacing the unit. Robert Payne was very responsive and professional when I called, and I felt the service provided by the technicians, sales staff, and installers deserves a 5 star review. The installers especially deserve kudos since they had to get all the way up to the attic and they were careful and respectful of the house by using floor protector material. As you can tell I ended up replacing the unit and associated air handler with a 2 stage XL17 which runs quietly and cools the upstairs without any issues. The warranties offered were also generous and appreciated. Thanks.

Yesterday, we received exceptional service from Nate Smith, who went above and beyond during the heat system maintenance performed in our home. Nate’s attention to detail, his impeccable neatness (which included vacuuming up any small bit of debris that fell on the floor from working in our attic), his willingness to take the time to thoroughly explain in detail any issues that came up and to answer any questions that we had, plus his kind and respectful manner, make him an incredible asset to Robert B. Weve been Robert B. Payne customers for years. This week, we had two AC units break on us and each time, they were super fast and fixed the problem for less than wed expected. They also had very reasonable emergency hours rates so we were able to get or AC fixed over a very hot weekend. Highly recommend!!

Weve been with Robert B, Payne for many years. They have always been professional and personable. The preventive maintenance jobs completed quickly and follow up report received immediately. The only difference in todays case is that the technician arrived at the door, did not introduce himself or the company for which he was representing. It was his vehicle and shirt, along with a phone call asking if he could arrive early, that confirmed who he was and why he was there. This was a first. We highly recommend any company representative introduce themselves, state the reason they are there, and show proof. Thats just us though. Again, all was completed professionally and quickly in this case. No complaints here. We do recommend the company for your air and heating needs.

My old system was having some issues it was 12yrs. Old. Not wanting to put more money into repairing old unit. I decided to bite the bullet and get a new system installed. Robbie came out and gave quote. He was very polite and knowledgeable. I had 3 qoutes . I call and ask Robert Payne for another quote for stage 2 heat pump. I was given a new that day. I called and schedule appointment. Personal on the phone helpful and polite. The crew that came out was polite and answered any question I had. Rickey went over with me and explained all that they did. He went over the silver and gold plans for maintenance. Ricky had 2 other people working with him Tommy and Sam very polite. They got to work and had new unit installed and the heat back on. Great job. Highly recommend. Thanks.
