When the weather turned cold our furnace wouldnt let the gas flow, Steven could have called a part bad and charged us over $500 dollars to fix it and I wouldnt have known any better. Instead he was honest and simply removed a blockage preventing a safety switch from opening the valve to let the gas flow. Steven only charged us for the service call and cleaning out the blockage saving us several hundred dollars. Hes a small business owner and knows that integrity and excellent customer service will make return customers. I know who Im calling if we need more help with our heat and a/c.

Our home warranty company referred our AC woes to Access Heating & Air, and sometimes those home warranty contractors can be sketchy and not so honest or reliable. Not so with this company! Over the last several weeks, theyve come out several times to try to figure out why we cant seem to get AC via our main unit. We appreciate their politeness and knowledge and they keep trying to fix it until its right. Steve takes the time to explain to me what hes doing and whats happening and what the fix might be. We are so very hopeful that this latest trip will have fixed the problem for good with our temperamental unit (and hopefully save us from cutting open the drywall!). I appreciate that they are trying all other avenues before ripping open my walls. Maybe its fixed, maybe it isnt, but it doesnt affect my review. Even though we didnt seek out Access Heating & Air, I would recommend them! Local, honest companies are just such a pleasure to work with. Thanks, yall!

So pleased with Access Heating and Air. Lisa in the office is so great and really out to help the customer. And Steve the tech is so great, honest, efficient and all around good guy.They did an entire replace for our outdoor unit so quickly and we had another issue due to previous company and they came out and fixed at no charge and considered it a recall visit. They are so honest and we are so pleased to find a company who truly are dedicated to help their customer and not charge them unnecessarily. Thank you Access Heating and Air and Lisa and Steve!!

I am blown away (pun intended) with the services of Access Heating and Air. I had an entire new HVAC system installed as well as a water heater. From start to finish they were extremely professional and courteous. They are a very honest and straight forward company who looks out for the best interest of the customer. I highly recommend Access to everyone. You will not be disappointed.

Steven is a professional, knowledgeable and personable guy who arrived on schedule. We are thankful for their 24 hr turn around from the time I called to get someone to come look at our unit. He assessed our heating unit and found that it was a bad thermostat. We now have a working system. We will definitely call on him again when needed.

Access Heating & Air installed a Mr. Cool mini-split system in my garage. I purchased the system because it is marketed as DIY. I was able to begin the installation myself, but definitely needed an HVAC technician to complete the install. Both Tim and the other Access technician were courteous, professional, and highly knowledgeable. Tim took the extra time to explain the equipment and process to me. These days, it is difficult to find knowledgeable, quick-thinking, and courteous technicians with the exact expertise you need. Thank you so much !! Greatly appreciated....Patti B.

Outstanding service! My family and I are very greateful for the OUTSTANDING HVAC service provided by Access Heating and Air on 10.26.18. Steve came out to assess our heating concerns (furnace blowing cool air) and what I really appreciated about the interaction was that he was reponsive during the conversation and was able to provide advisement on resolving the matter.Our furnace was diagnosed with a weak flame sensor that was replaced and a “hidden” damper was opened, to allow air flow to another level of our home for better heating comfort! Steve was very knowledgeable, professional and a great communicator.I highly recommend this company for future HVAC needs! Thank you Steve and Lis for your valued service!

My post maybe lengthy but I want to illustrate how how much this company restored my confidence in services provided and my decision to stay with American Home Shields. I have been a member of AHS since 2010, lately I had lost my confidence in AHS service provided by their contracted companies. In the beginning I received quality service then in recent years it has degraded. A few year back I had a problem with my system and Acess heating. and air was sent to fix the issue these guys did a great job and I remembered how professional and well knowledge the technicians were. Fast forward to 2016 my upstairs AC stop working AHS assigned United Air Temp. United Air Temp diagnosed that there was a leak in the evaporation coil in the attic. a few days later they returned and sealed the Leak , it was hot in the attic so I gave the technician a cold bottle water. Once finished I was informed that need coolant (R-22) which cost me a little more than $900.00 after AHS paid there portion. That was not the end of this ordeal, about a month later we noticed that there was a water bubble in our ceiling where the technician had worked on the evaporation coil, that bubble turned into a hole in our ceiling above our upstairs hallway. I went to the attic and found the water bottle that I gave to the technician it was unsealed and a little water remaining. So now we ha to repair the ceiling and have it painted. Fast forward to June 2019. my upstairs AC stop working again. I contacted AHS and they informed me that United Air Temp was the vendor assigned to repair my AC. I contacted AHS customer service and the representative did a great job. I told her that I do not want United Air Temp at my house, and she asked me if there is a company that I had in mind. Well I remembered Access Heating and Air. She looked on AHS list of HVAC companies and they were on the list and she assigned them to my request. Long story short Access Heating and Air replaced the evaporator coil and service my AC. I looked at bad the coil and bottom was rusted, from what I saw there was no way to seal it. Before this we were looking at other home warranty services, Access Heating and Air restored our confidence.....Great company, Great Job!

The A/C quit working at my rental property, another company was called by the renter and was given the go ahead to service the unit!It quit again and I was told the system needed to be replaced! I called Access and Steve diagnosed it and all it needed was a circuit board! I highly recommend them and I will call them first from now on! Thank you Steve!

Ive had poor airflow on the 2nd story of my house for the past year or so since moving in, resulting in a frigid winter and stifling summer upstairs in the bedrooms. I had a HVAC specialist (recommended to me by my family) come out to diagnose the problem. After finding no leaks in any of the duct work, and determining the furnace and AC were perfectly fine, the HVAC specialist thought the problem could be solved by adding a 2nd AC/Heating unit to the upstairs. Long story short, I was given a quote of $8,000 in order to solve the problem. I called Access Heating, and Air to request a 2nd bid on the project.Mr. Steven West came out the same day I called, (arriving a few min. early I might add) and quickly realized that a damper was partially closed on the main vertical outtake duct above the furnace, which was obviously restricting the airflow....I still have the mark on my head where I hit my head with my palm. In my defense, I had already tried playing with other dampers in the ducts to trouble shoot the problem, but never knew about this one since its really, really well hidden behind 2 joists. Also, the 1st HVAC guy didnt see this...or maybe he chose not to see it.However, my Access Heating and Air service technician did see this, and with a simple push of a lever, he had my upstairs instantly supplied with proper airflow. My master bedroom is now very toasty! Not only did Mr. West not charge me for the service call, but saved me spending $8,000 on something I dont need!!!Mr. West was very professional and I would recommend Access Heating and Air to anyone simply based on the integrity and service provided to me.

Wow. I have a rental unit and had them come in for routine service - the guy did the job and didnt attempt to embellish and/or sell me anything.He cleaned the coils up and the drain line (which was stopped up), checked the charge (which was fine)with that attitude the next time I need a repair or new unit theres no reason to call anyone else.

My husband and I are extremely pleased with Access Heating & Air. We have been loyal customers for several years. They are fair, honest, expedient, & efficient. We recently needed service after hours and Steve came out, diagnosed the problem , and fixed the unit quickly.Steve, also, replaced the motor recently. He educated us on the different options so that we could make an informed choice. He was patient and answered all of our questions.Calling and scheduling repairs was quick and easy. Lisa is polite and expedient as well.Its comforting to know that there are still honest companies/people out there. You can never put a price in that.We recommend this company hands down!

HVAC unit died 2 days ago. Contacted Access Heating & Air because theyve serviced our units at our church for years & have a great reputation. They came within a few hours and gave quote to repair unit or replace unit which was 22 years old. They provided all the information for us to make an informed decision and didnt try to pressure us in any way toward any one option. They completed the replacement system (inside & out) today in what seemed like record time! Very knowledgeable, VERY pleasant. Owner is honest and unlike other companies in the area doesnt try to take advantage of folks who arent heating & cooling experts. I would HIGHLY recommend this company for anyone needing repairs or a whole new system. VERY, VERY impressed with them! Even brought an under-the-house plumbing leak to our attention! :

I am very happy with the service Access Heating and Air LLC provided to me today. I have an indoor coil leak. The service person is able to quickly detect the leak and also inform me that the coil is still under warranty. He actually called York shop to find the warranty information. The price he provided on the labor cost is also slightly lower than the quote from another company. The cost he charged me on re-fill the refrigerant is very reasonable.
