    Home-Tech has been fantastic. We just had Justin and Shane re-do our duct work this week and they were absolutely wonderful young men who you felt perfectly comfortable working in your home even if we were not there. They did an excellent job both technically and in their organization and comportment. I only wish I had other jobs for them to do. They represent Home-Tech brilliantly.On the sales side Joe Peed is an absolute legend and mensch. Joe took care of us technically for many years and now has come through with in an emergency AC unit (two years ago) and a beautiful duct system.What a team! Honorable mention also goes to a lovely design by the engineer who drafted the plan and fine bloke who ran us up an emergency spot heater. Thank you Home-Tech for many great years and hopefully many more to come!

    I have a service agreement with HomeTech and I have been extremely happy with the service they provide. It all started with Margo who sold me the agreement. She is very knowledgeable and friendly. I have had the technicians come to clean my AC unit and fix my dryer. It saved me tons of money and everyone was polite and professional!!I highly recommend their plan to anyone. I am a single mom and it is absolutely perfect for me, especially since have no idea how to fix any appliances.

    I had an AC Technician out to check our system to make sure we didn’t have any water incursion with our Outdoor components. Our technician was extremely helpful in explaining the operation of our Unit and checked the settings and thermostat. All was OK, but Mark took the time to explain everything. Very impressive young man and a credit to your business!

    I had a technician #1074 to my home today to repair my dryer. I was extremely happy!! The young man was very polite, knowledgeable and professional. He took the time to thoroughly go over my dryer, explained to me the situation, took care of the issues and offered advice for future maintenance!! Im super happy with this service experience!! Glad we have this Home-tech service agreement!!

    **Outstanding Service & Unmatched Reliability: Home Tech is the Best!**I cant speak highly enough about Home Tech and their exceptional serviceman, Marco. I came home to a sweltering 95° inside, despite my AC being set to 75°. In a panic, I called Home Tech at 5:30 pm and was informed that a technician would be here between 7 pm and 10 pm. True to their word, Marco arrived at 9:30 pm, even after being stuck in traffic for half an hour. His professionalism and politeness were immediately apparent, and he fixed the problem promptly and efficiently.Having the Gold package with Home Tech has been one of the best decisions Ive made. It was definitely worth the upgrade from the Silver package. As someone who doesn’t know much about fixing things around the house, it’s a huge relief to have a company like Home Tech that takes care of everything without me worrying about getting ripped off. I have the utmost trust and faith in them, and I highly recommend their services to everyone.To give you a comparison, my parents had a service contract with another well-known company. When their AC broke down, they couldn’t get it fixed for 3-4 days, despite my mother having health issues. And to make matters worse, the other company never showed up!     We called HomeTech for our refrigerator. They have been out many times for this. The Tech who came was Elvin Espinal, tech #1132. This young man was punctual, knowledgeable, polite and explained the problems and what our options would be. We decided to get a new refrigerator and Elvin checked pricing at the stores around us and compared it to HomeTechs price to make sure we got the deal. HomeTech had the best price!     Tried home-tech on one-time basis for two different appliances before signing 3 consecutive annual contracts, still current. Reservationists are competent and well-trained; ask al the proper questions before scheduling the appropriate tech trained in your general appliance and often factory-trained and certified. Suggest you locate brand, model, and S/N before you call.If you inquire about an annual agreement, which i strongly suggest, you will specify which appliances, year of mngr and in-home location so they can custom-price your level of insured protection. Service is prompt and the specifically-assigned tech arrives prepared with the apprpriate for manual already downloaded to his digital device.With about 10 home appliances covered, i find the service to be overall cheaper on home maintenance expenses, far more convenient, and highly satisfactory. Hey, they are employee-owned and it works!I’ve had 3 service trips in 2024 so far with not so much as a trip charge!

    I NEVER BUY EXTENDED WARRANTIES- this was given to us by our realtor and I am so glad I have it!!!!! I have had an issue with our AC which they have been out a few times to try to repair-sometime these things are not easy to find. They have always come out fast and once even offered at 10PM which we said was not needed. Finally have it figured out, new part ordered, we have been kept up to date every step of the way. BTW we are not without AC just a leak that has been difficult to isolate. I have saved $$$$ by this gold plan and am extremely impressed with this company.TY HOME TECH

    Just had my whole air conditioner unit replaced and I could not have been happier. It started with the salesman Matt coming out to give an estimate. Explaining my options. He didn’t only try to low ball me to get the job but, explained different levels of ACs and costs. When I made my choice, he set me right up for instillation. That is when I met Ivan and his crew. I don’t think I have met such a knowledgeable or dedicated person in quite some time. He took such pride in his work, as did his crew, and it really showed. I had additional return ducts put in plus the air handles and compressor. They worked all day and didn’t stop until the job was completed. Even helped me connect to my Wi-Fi and Alexa.     I have the gold plan, including the plumbing and electrical and have used it three times this year. Each visit, including the visit, I had today to repair my washing machine, have gone flawlessly.     On 6/22 at 6:00 our AC unit ceased operating. I called Home Tech and was told the technician would be here between 6:00-8:00. He got the unit operational but within 1 hour of his leaving, the unit stopped. It was in the high 80s outside but I knew we would have to wait until morning to call. I turned on all the fans in the house and it really was not that bad. In the morning I called Home Tech and Robert (Tech #1038) was sent to assess the situation and do the repairs. He was not the technician who was here the night before. He was the most pleasant, professional, thorough and concerned tech that we have ever had. Robert spent the time to make sure that the issue was resolved correctly and explained to us in detail what he was doing. The AC is now running perfectly. Keep up the good work, Robert, you are a definite asset to the Home-Tech team.

    We had an air conditioning issue last March and contacted the original installer for repairs. All they wanted to do is sell me a new unit. We decided to get a second opinion and heard nothing but good things about Home-Tech, so we scheduled with them. Robert came out and diagnosed a blower motor not a new AC unit . Robert replaced blower motor and went above and beyond cleaning unit , Great service. We were impressed with the service and when contacted by Margo who help expedited the repair recommended a service contract. she explained the benefits of a maintenance contact and we agreed. we purchased the contract and thankfully we did . We recently had a refrigerator breakdown and call Home-Tech late in the afternoon. As promised they arrived same day(just an hour after calling). Carlos arrived and Quickly resolved the issue, The best part it was covered by the service contract. Thanks for the great service by all these employees who really care about customer service. Will truly recommend this company

    I recently purchased a 20 year old home that I knew needed 2 new A/C units and new ductwork. Having used Home Tech in the past for my prior home, I called Matt McConnell who was my Service Tech at my previous home. Matt came out the next day and conducted a thorough review of my system. He reviewed his findings with me and we proceeded to schedule the install. To my amazement, he scheduled it for the following week. He ensured that lead tech Tyler E. #475 was the lead installer who had also installed the units at my previous home. Down to business and extremely hard worker. Since I knew both of these gentlemen previously, I knew I was in good hands. Assistant Tech Craig N #1047 was awesome. Courteous, friendly and also a very hard worker. Matt M. stopped by to help on 2 days of the install and thoroughly answered all my questions. Extremely knowledgeable with a very friendly personality. I was in very good hands with this crew. Highly recommend this team. What an awesome experience.

    Thank you to Home-Tech once again! Ive been a customer on a contract for over 6 years and they have always exceeded our expectations on all of our appliances, air conditioner repairs and replacements.The newest repair has been a hot water heater replacement. I called when we discovered we had a bad leak coming from the heater, and in less than an hour they sent out a tech to address the situation on Thursday.Today, Seth, tech # 1037 came out today- on a Sunday. Was on time, very professional, and willing to help me understand all the steps of replacing our heater. He was efficient, clean and took his time to be sure everything was perfect on our new heater. Seth even came in and cleaned a faucet aerator for me! I will certainly request Seth to come out again when we need help!     On 11/29 I had a refrigerator installed that I purchased from Home-Tech. It was installed by a gentleman named Eduardo, employee number 638.Eduardo did an outstanding job. This was not the easiest install since he had to remove the front door to get the unit in the house. Eduardo is a very careful and patient worker. He moved the unit into the kitchen without any trouble. We have a smaller house and it was not easy maneuvering the unit into place. He carefully removed all of the protective plastic sheets from the exterior of the refrigerator. Then he installed all of the shelves. Home tech supplied a new water supply hose which Eduardo also installed. Finally he cleaned up all of the packing materials and reinstalled the door.This is why I deal with Home tech, every person who comes to my home is competent and pleasant to deal with. Home tech also gives a 2 hour window for arrival and phone about 15 minutes before arrival. In 8 years they have never missed a window.

They answered questions, explained different aspects of the newly installed equipment and replaced all items back to their proper original places in the garage with the exception of my RING garage camera ( that I can’t find but it’s working on my iPhone).     Tuesday night at 9:20 pm I called Home Tech to tell them my AC was not working due to drain being clogged and the receptionist said someone would be out in the morning between 8-10 am and at 7:30 am tech called and said was on his way. I have the gold warranty and have had it for a few years and renewed for 2 more. Even bought a gold package for my parents. I have always been very happy every time I have called them.     If there was a way to give them ten stars, I would. On the coldest Christmas Eve in many years, we called because the heat cycle in our hvac was not working. We didn’t expect anything for many hours. Fifteen minutes after our call, a tech called and said he could be here in twenty minutes. He arrived promptly. Diagnosed the problem (a clogged drain line) fixed it and was done. We had guests coming and never were inconvenienced. Based on this and other interactions, they totally recommend Home Tech as a home warranty and service provider.

On more than one occasion the technician called to see if they could come even sooner. For a small cost it can make the difference in giving a homebuyer the confidence to close on a deal. Or it can be a useful housewarming gift from a real estate agent to their client.

They were extremely professional and courteous. When the county inspector came out to sign off on the AC inspection he was stunned by how perfect the installation of the AC was. He said that he never asks who did the AC installation when he visits a home. He just does what is required to do. With my AC he was so impressed he had to ask me who did the installation because he never find a new system that he doesnt find a flaw with. I was happy to say the Home-Tech did my installation and I could not be happier.

    Home-Tech and more specifically Margo Mcqueen are a true lifesaver!!!Let me preface this by saying, at the time I am writing this review, I am not a Home-Tech customer (renter). However, my mom recently found herself in a situation several months back, and thankfully Margo saved the day.My mother recently renovated her kitchen and in doing so she purchased all new appliances (with extended warranties). Yet, out of the blue, her new refrigerator still managed to stop working. Knowing she had purchased the pricy extended warranty, she elected to call on the company who solicited her the extended warranty. Only to be informed that they were unavailable to service the fridge until the following week. Resulting in a major loss of the contents in the fridge. Not once did they offer to replace the fridge (temporarily) or provide any form of troubleshooting in hopes of alleviating the issue.Thankfully I had met Margo through a fellow coworker, and remembered she worked at Home-Tech, so I decided to reach out directly to see if there might be another option to help with my mothers situation. Margo spoke directly with my mom (who was not a customer of Home-Tech) to offer some troubleshooting tips to try and fix the problem. She helped guide her through the ways Home -Tech differs from that of a warranty company, in that they are local, have an abundance of qualified techs readily available for situations like these, but most importantly (in my opinion) they offer temporary appliance replacement in the event the appliance requires further repairs. Margo also explained how the Home-Tech tier system works in the event she would like to become a customer in the near future.Let me tell you, when I say my mom was reluctant to speak with someone other than her appliance warranty company, thats an understatement. However, following her call with Margo, she seemed to be at peace with the situation. Margo was able to explain why it could take other companies up to a week to service the appliances, how most of these warranty companies are extremely short staffed following the pandemic, and they certainly dont disclose that information at the time of purchasing the warranty.We are incredibly thankful for the over-the-top service Margo provided, and as a Ft. I first worked with Ryan the sales manager who was most helpful as my old AC needed a new part and this happened right after the hurricane. After exhausting all options, Ryan and I concluded I would need a new AC and he referred me to Tim Van Ree the AC Comfort Specialist. Tim did an outstanding job given the fact that I was in Maine and we were concerned that mold would set in.     I recently, August 7, 2015, had Chet Reber, from Home-Tech, provide some needed repairs to our air conditioning system. The entire experience was great. Home-Tech scheduled the repair for the same day that I called the problem into their customer service department. They quoted me a time at which their technician would arrive and told me that the technician would call me approximately 1 hour before he would arrive.Like clockwork, Chet called me within an hour of scheduled arrival time, and advised me that he was 30 minutes away. When he arrived, he quickly diagnosed the problem correctly and set about fixing it. After fixing the first problem with the system, he uncovered a second issue and took care of that one as well. He then went on to test out the entire air handler and compressor units on the system to assure that all was fine. Per our appliance policy guidelines, he did all this work for no additional fees.Chet then took the time to advise me of some points he noticed with the air conditioning system and provided guidance on what next steps we might want to take. I was quite grateful for his promptness, professionalism and his counselling. I hope that we get Chet the next time we require service.

    Doug, the plumber is great. He is very responsive and really knows what he is doing. I had two toilets with problems, a bath tub spot that was loose and rotating, and slow vanity sink drains. In a little over a half hour, Doug fixed the toilets, cleared the drains and removed and tightened the tub spout. Then he put a neat bead of caulk around the spout while showing me how to do it properly and neatly. Doug made repairs on our previous residence and always did a great job then.Glad we can still benefit from his services.

    Matt King went to our condo to check on our AC system and a new Brandt thermostat, which was not programmed to give us alerts back in our home state. He arrived promptly, checked out the system and thermostat and called so he could turn on the alerts. He talked me through everything he was doing at the condo and then stayed on the phone until he was sure I was able to receive the alerts on my phone app. Matt was extremely professional and answered all of my questions. Spent the week in a hot, muggy house until it dawned on me I had Home Tech. I called yesterday (Saturday) and they scheduled my appointment for this morning. Alex called about 15 min before arriving, and quickly went to work getting my old dinosaur up and running. The issue was refrigerant...not a new motor. Whether it is an annual air conditioner check-up and filter cleaning, or a complete air conditioner replacement, they have always been reliable and dependable. We trust them and they have always met our expectations!A week ago, one of the four aircondition/heat units expired after 21 years of service. Adam, an excellent air technician, was able to pump in enough refrigerant to keep the unit running through the night. I worked closely with Travis Holsbeke to select a completely new system and have it installed the next day. Travis was personable, knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He made me feel comfortable from the first handshake. I think he is exceptional and very trustworthy. He researched several brands that were immediately attainable, would fit into the available space, compared them for us and sought every possible discount in cost. We chose a Trane unit at a very reasonable price. The next day Adam and his colleague Daniel returned and installed the new unit. They took away all the old parts and the room was immaculately clean when they left. Travis had arranged for the building permit, made sure to have the unit picked up at the dealer and in general was an excellent manager for the project. The Home-Tech team delivered again! Matthew took the time to check all the possible causes of this continuing drain clogging and thoroughly cleaned everything. He also rewired the float switches so the wires were not running all over the front of the inside unit. Thank you Matthew for a thorough job.

    As part of the Home-Tech warranty that came with the home I just bought in Cape Coral, FL; technicians Janes and Hualner (#995 & #1004) came out to inspect and service the HVAC system in the home. They spent a good two hours cleaning and checking the entire system as well as replacing all the filter elements in the house. They did a very thorough and complete job. Much more than I expected. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone that needs to have their HVAC inspected and/or serviced.

    I have been a Home Tech customer for six years now, and have not been let down. My most recent experience with Mualner M. was great. He took the time to properly diagnose the issue I am having. This is the third call I have made for this issue, and Mualner figured it out. While my issue is still not completely fixed, I know Home-tech will follow through and get this taken care of; like they always do. If you dont do business with this company, you should.
