A few years back I requested repair estimates from 3 different air-condition companies one of them being SMC. Not only were they affordable, but their technician at that time did not try to sell me a new AC but rather recommended to just repair my old unit. This is the main reason why I stay with SMC. They are very customer friendly, reliable, honest, affordable and dont try to sell me something that I dont need.

I’ve been using SMC for years after a horrible experience with another company and they restored my faith in AC companies! Although everyone on their team that I’ve come into contact with have been great, Anthony is superb and I will wait until he is available for my repairs and maintenance. I love the semi-annual checkups (totally worth it) and this is the only way to insure no major issues form over time because they will, even on new units. I would recommend them to anyone. They were unable to complete the cleaning of the duct the same day, we rescheduled, and they came at the right time. This was my first experience working with SMC. I quoted a new A/C unit with 4 different companies, the reason I gave the business with SMC is not only because of the price, but mainly because of the excellent employees I had to deal with. From the beginning Cynthia provided me with excellent customer service, she understood the urgency of sending someone to my home to asses the problem and she sent Christian (the Technician) the same day. Christian is outstanding, not only he advised me correctly on what I needed and what I didnt, but when he came 2 days later to install the unit inside and outside he did a fantastic job. The installation was painless, clean, neat, no mess, he cleaned after everything he did, is like he was never in the house, besides he knows this business, he doesnt fake it, he doesnt guess, he KNOWS. I also dealt with David in sales, he was outstanding as well, very professional, also advised me on what I needed and he helped me a lot with the price. In short, this company has a fantastic team working for them, they are honest and they seriously care about the customer, they dont try to sell you anything, they try to advise you on what you really need . The company was competitive in price and prompt with time. Cristian Vasconez actually made my experience with this company more than pleasant. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy as well as making sure we were knowledgeable about what was needed and even suggested something better for us to have. During his visit I asked him to look at the other units and he did so without hesitation and actually fixed a wire that was loose and preventing it from working. Good company with great employees.

Anthony installed a new thermostat first then thoroughly inspected my unit.SMC was recommended by Daikin that is the manufacturer of my AC unit. The AC unit is original equipment in a condominium that is more than 30 years old. Anthony was familiar with the unit and immediately accessed the issues, informed me of his resolution and provided several quotes.As soon as I am able to schedule a date for the repairs with my condominium association, my next call will be to SMC to schedule Anthony or one of his associates to finalize my AC repairs.

We realized our a/c wasn’t blowing out cold air at 10pm on a Saturday. You can imagine our horror as we realized it was too late to call someone but we managed to contact smc air conditioning early on a Sunday morning and they had someone out within a few hours. Not only was their response quick but they were able to do the necessary work all in the same day to get our a/c back to perfect again. So beyond grateful to have found this company and I will definitelyy use them again if we have any troubles with our a/c unit!

Nice, respectable, considerate men, they were quick at work and did everything they could to make the installation process run smoothly (doors were too small in house, so we had to use a crane to lift the a/c to backyard!). Needs to finish complete installation of exterior ac condenser, instal new relocated electrict box on new area, hide sll cables inside cable aluminum rectangle box. Finally, needs to test the entire system from inside the unit, i.e. flush the drainage and complete 1 service round testing to make sure the unit has not lost pressure. Add nefreon gas once test completed. The wotks.

Ricardo came out and quickly diagnosed the issue. It was the capacitor (which my FIL suspected), a pretty easy fix at a fair price. Ive had bad experiences with another big well-known HVAC servicer in the area, for example telling us we needed a major repair when all it really needed was the drain cleaned with a regular maintenance. So far weve had nothing but good experiences with SMC. They tell you theyre on their way and they are on time!! I was given a 2-hour window and he actually called if I wanted him to come a little earlier unlike others who will keep you waiting for hours.

I had 4-5 different companies come out and SMC Air conditioning was the one that stood out. Here are the reason. David the Field service guy that came to the house was very nice professional and explained everything about what I need and what their company was all about. Second, they had the best prices and the best financing on the market. Third, David came back and beat a price that a contractor gave me and he had no issues doing it. They do financing with a familiar bank which is wells fargo. Everyone else seemed so sketchy. And lastly, the he had all the docs prepared and and it was just a few click and the process is done and now the contractors are on the way to the house.
