    We were fortunate to find 1/2 Plumbing, I called on Saturday (2 days before my knee replacement) and by Monday they were redoing the pipes at the house. Paul and his team were nothing less than phenomenal. Responsible, Reliable, Meticulous work ethics and the final product was amazing. You would never know they were there. They made sure to tidy up after themselves and communicated along the way. They started Monday and finished on Thursday, while accommodating my post surgical needs. They are truly the exception, I would recommend them for your Plumbing needs 100 Xs over. In addition when the inspector was here he was impressed with their work. They are the best, I would never use anyone else! Thank you Paul and Team for making a horrible situation tolerable.

    I needed to replace the outside faucet on my house. It was leaking and I had very little water pressure when I would turn on the hose.... I called Half Price Plumbing I have used them before, Chris had previously installed 2 toilets..Chris showed up again just literally a few minutes after I had made the initial call. He replaced the existing handles with quarter turn...... and replaced the PVC With copper.... My wife and I were extremely pleased and with the new quarter turn water shut off to the house...... We can very quickly turn the water supply off in an emergency..... And well feel much better when leaving the house for an extended Period of time..... He is very knowledgeable, courteous, and professional.I would highly recommend Chris at half price plumbing.

    So this review is extremely well over due and Im keeping my promise. Used the company for some plumbing issue I had with the bathroom sink pipes and to replace a sink garbage disposal. Chris did a great job. He was very professional and explained everything he was doing. I did find it to be a bit more expensive than what I hoped for but the work needed to be done and it was done correctly.

    My old water heater finally broke after 25 years. They previously did the re-piping in my kitchen when I was remodeling so i remembered them. I called them the same day my water heater died and they had an opening that day. Chris was very punctual and texted me early letting me know he’s on the way. He arrived and provided me with options. I chose to stick with a tank heater as that’s what fits me best. Chris is very knowledgeable and professional. He is good at what he does. The installation was quick and smooth. The project was done within a hour or an hour and a half including him driving to the warehouse to pick up the new water heater. In all, great experience with them. Any future projects that I have next time, I’ll be calling them. I highly recommend them.

    These people are amazing. Texted them about replacement of my water heater. Chris came out to give me an estimate...hed have to replace some old pipes and hed have to get everything ready for installation AND said he could do it today. I figured it was going to be a late night with all that he had to do but was happy he could to it right away. From start to finish it had to be less than four hours and everything was done! Never seen anyone do such a thorough job so efficiently. Chris really knows his stuff because he was organized and knew exactly what had to be done and he wasted no time in doing it. This young man is a credit to his company and thanks to him...I will call them again and refer them whenever I can. Oh...also very important...there was no mess to clean up because everything was very tidy when he left!

    The problem was a ugly clogged kitchen drain. CHRIS came over in less than 10 minutes. Took care of the problem in less than 1/2 hour. The drain is working better now then prior.     They have restored my faith in plumbers! Ive had some really bad experiences with plumbers and I dont trust them. I called 1/2 price Plumbing after I had a serious leak in my walls and a friend recommended them. I was really nervous and Janice put me at ease RIGHT away. She sent Chris out to give us a quote. He was wonderful. He was calm and collected and quickly located where the leak was in the wall. We went over details and he literally helped me so much.     Its so hard to know who to call for plumbing service, as you could end up with an honest and fair company, or one that will take advantage and try to rip you off. I read the reviews for 1/2 Price Plumbing and in particular their plumber Chris, and having decided on giving them a try turned out to be a great decision. Chris came out and gave us a free estimate on repairing a leak, and also replacing our very old water heater. He was honest and fair, and did not try selling us on something other than what we needed. We hired Chris to do the work, and he was prompt and professional, and got the jobs finished in a very timely manner. I am glad to now know of a very good and honest plumber, which will instantly be my go to for any future plumbing needs that might arise, as well as having a plumber which I can refer to my family and friends without hesitation.

    Developed a leak from my second bathroom shower into the dining room and into the garage. Half Price Plumbing was highly recommended by my neighbor and Chris was marvelous.     I had an emergency with both bathrooms, toilets overflowing and tub/shower backing up. I called at 11:30 was told someone could be out between 1-3(amazing right?). Chris called and was at the house by 12:30. He was professional, informative, open and helpful. Price was explained before any work was completed. And even with challenges from an old house and pipes, he still finished the job quickly and efficiently. What started out as a terrible morning was rectified quickly. I looked for a company that was locally owned and not a huge corporation.     We called them for an estimate for a leaking old water spigot on the outside and they sent out Chris. He arrived timely just as they stated he would and just so happens that when he arrived it was about to come a downpour and needless to say he was the BEST!! He was so kind and dedicated to getting the work done for us he worked in the pouring rain to make the repair. We looked him a poncho and umbrella and my husband went out and held an umbrella for him as well and he completed the job of replacing not just one BUT all of our outside spigot that afternoon. My home suffered a bad pipe leak and Chris with expert efficiency not only helped stop the leak and replace the pipe but went above and beyond helped set me up with a restoration specialist who arrived in a half hour to assess the damage and begin drying out my wall. Through both Chris and the restoration specialist, I was referred to a great public adjuster who will help me with my claim. Chris is not only a total pro, but an awesome guy to work with who listens and looks out for the customer.     I called half price plumbing to get an estimate on an old water heater. Nothing wrong with it but just concerned about it’s age. Zack comes over and inspects the water heater and advised nothing wrong with it and he would not recommend replacement at this time unless I wanted it. How many plumbers would do that? Past experience with other professionals is replace before it’s too late. Zack eased my mind and took a burden off my shoulders. Also , I asked him about running a water line to my yard and again he would not recommend it. I mean looking at the too projects I would have spent over $3,000. I’m relieved there’s still professionals out there doing the right thing by the customer and not taken money unnecessarily. With that said please don’t hesitate calling half price for your plumber needs. Oh by the way Zack was punctual and in fact half hour early for our scheduled appointment. Love that.

    I had an issue with a clogged, leaking toilet and another company stated I needed a jetter to clear the drain, quoted me an exorbitant price, then stated that if I gave him a good review on Nextdoor, he would knock off $400. I then contacted 1/2 Price Plumbing. Zac did a great job in recommending a replacement toilet and installed the new toilet perfectly. Zac was timely for both visits and gave an honest price for work well done! Thank you Zac!

    I can’t say enough about Chris. He was the plumber that came to the rescue. He came the same day I called and was able to cap the water leak. He was the. able to detect the leak fast.     I used 1/2 Price Plumbing for the first time and must say without any hesitation, I was very impressed. The professionals we had were Zac and his apprentice Jorge. They were on time, very quickly knew exactly what the issues were, and immediately quoted me a price and began work. They had all the equipment which was so great, as in most cases many contractors almost always needs to leave to get materials and come back. Not these guys. The job isnt finished yet but would give 5 stars as of today.

Christopher called 730am by and arrived about 745am which was great for us.We had 2 outdoor spigots replaced one in front and the other in back of our home.     This company was quick to respond when I had to shut off the water to my entire house. The estimate provided (flat fee) was less than others and the online reviews were good, so I went with them. The actual invoice ended up being 50% more than my original estimate because the glue did not hold the first time around!I was told I would have to pay extra to cover the time needed to re-do the work and to allow a full 1 hour of glue-drying time. Overall, I am happy with the final product and the overall expense still came in lower than some other quotes I received, but I would have appreciated a call from management to justify why I should cover the time for re-work! I would have given 5 stars, but their professionalism could stand some improvement.

    This company is amazing!!! We have used them a few times and I couldnt be happier. They are upfront and really want to do right by you. We had Chris the other day and not only was he professional, knowledgeable, and fixed the problem in a timely manner, he was so nice!! He didnt just fix our problem but went above and beyond for us. He noticed we had water damage and immediately got on the phone to help us get it fixed. Most companies make you feel like a number and that they just want your money.     We had a bad leak in our shower and Chris came out to see what the issue was. Chris was very pleasant and professional from the moment he arrived. He explained the problem and expressed his concern in finding the replacement part based on the age of my hardware but promised to do his best in order to avoid having to break tile to replace the entire thing. The damaged cartridge was difficult to remove but he was able to do it and was able to find the part for us and complete the repair very expeditiously. Chris work was very clean, thorough and courteous. Their pricing was very fair and I would strongly recommend their services.I would definitely call Chris again should a plumbing issue arise.

    These guys live up to their high rating. I had a water heater go out in one of my investment properties just days before the hurricane was approaching. My regular plumber (great guy) wanted a bit more for the replacement then I was comfortable with. So I decided to call around. This company gave me the best quote out of all the reputable companies I contacted.The rest of the process was just as smooth. They came on time, did the job quickly, efficiently and saved me quite a bit of money. They also found that some of the repairs my plumber thought I needed turned out to be unnecessary. I couldnt be happier with their service. The man sent to do the job (I forget his name) was one of the most professional, polite and friendly contractor I have ever met in my life.     I have used 1/2 Price Plumbing numerous times for several of our properties. I have always been satisfied with their service and always recommend them. I have to give a special thanks to Chris, their plumber who repaired a water heater for me this morning. I had made the mistake of calling the largest plumbing company in the Fort Lauderdale area, because they were instantly available. Big mistake. The big guys walked in, looked at the water heater, didnt do anything more and quoted me $2,800 to $3000 to replace the unit. They assured me that the unit was toast based on nothing. I told them to send me a written estimate and I would get back to them. l immediately called 1/2 Price and they had Chris meet me at the property the next morning at 8. He was right on time and very polite. He immediately told me that the unit didnt need replacing (it was only 3 years old). He diagnosed the problem and had the parts on his truck to complete the repairs. The unit needed new elements and thermostats, very common on AO Smith water heaters. He did the entire job in about an hour, made sure to leave the area cleaner than he found it, and even threw in a Senior discount. His price was extremely reasonable but his service was what impressed me. I assure you I will ask for Chris the next time a problem comes up.

    We got new kitchen countertops, sink, faucet and dishwasher. After the countertop installers cut out the old plumbing and installed the new sink tub, we realized we were in over our head getting everything reconnected. I called 1/2 Price after seeing other reviews and setup an appointment. Chris came out an assessed the situation: New dishwasher not connected, sink plumbing not connected and going from 2 drains to 1 drain, new faucet still in the box and also we wanted to replace the old disposal that was also disconnected. Chris quoted all the work at a reasonable pricing, including a new disposal he already had available on his truck. After getting started, it only took about an hour. Even though it was quick, the installation was clean and well done with an attention to detail. Chris had me inspect his work and pointed out all the details of what he did. He had me look closely and check and feel all the various lines for leaks. We were very impressed with the work and Chris was helpful, informative and signed his work with pride and excellence.     I have elderly mother living alone. My dad past away this past November. I recently moved 1 hour away and didn’t have the time to go over and check on her kitchen sink water leak. So I called 1/2 Price Plumbing having used them previously I was very satisfied with there work and labor charge. So I called them and explained the situation. The phone rep said she would call tech and find out if they could come out right away. I was pleasantly surprised when she called me back to tell me yes she can have a tech over in an hour. What great service. She was very understanding and pleasant on phone. The technician Cris was also super friendly on the phone he called to speak to me and find out exactly what happened he told me he would be there in 1 hour. My mom called me to let me know he was there. So that’s how I know he was puntual and on time. After he finished he gave me courtesy call back to let me know he had finished and all done. He expressed sympathy and sadness and gave me condolences over my dads passing and even told me he was going through the same thing. When he left my mom called me again to say he was so pleasant and nice and even tried talking to her in the little Spanish he did know. We need more compassionate people like Cris in this world. Two days later I was able to go to my moms home and see the work. It was professional and had a new food disposal with one year parts and labor warranty.     Funny story I happen to be a plumber in New York. I come down to Florida for a week and sure enough my hot water heater springs a leak.     I had a small water leak which I discovered on New Years day. The pipe had a slow leak and I though it would be a twenty minute repair. I called 1/2 price plumbing and they came out immediately. However the pipe was broken in the foundation. The gentleman was suppose to be off work in an hour. He ended up staying several hours to repair it enough so we would not be without water for the remainder of the weekend. On Monday he returned and made all the repairs.     On the evening before July 4th my hot water heater started leaking. I called a few places and they wanted to charge extra money to come out the next day to replace the water heater, one even told me that they could not get another water heater on July 4th. So on the morning of July 4th I called 1/2 price plumbing as they had great reviews on the next door app and had done some work for a friend. They answered the phone gave me a quote (at regular price, not a holiday price), I went and bought the water heater myself from Home Depot and within 10 minutes of getting it home they were there to install it for a very reasonable price. It took them about an hour and they replaced all of the pipes and the shutoff valve (because it was very old) at no extra cost. They were very clean and efficient and I highly recommend them.
