In fact, I found out later on that this company pays for any pet that has been at Indy humane for more than 100 days to be adopted on their dime. The true test of a great company is not when things go right, its when things go wrong! I apparently had a couple of problems. The first plumber was a great guy but he missed an issue. When I called back, the owner personally came out. He apologized, addressed the problem and helped me get a replacement faucet because mine was under warranty. Without his guidance, I would have had an out of pocket expense for the replacement part. Its rare to find a company who brings not only professional service but pride in doing a great job. I highly recommend this company.

I discovered 317 Plumber when my regular plumber was unavailable in an emergency. They replaced my water heater and installed a drain pan with pipe to avoid another flooded basement in the future. They also did something no company has ever done before -- offered to come back two weeks later for the old water heater so it could drain and dry out, so hauling up stairs didnt drop dirty water on the carpet. Thoughtful! I really like the maintenance plan they offer as it includes many services others dont provide as well as a good discount on all other products and services. Prices are competitive, I love that they are locally owned, the owner is incredibly involved, did a great job, and also took the time to answer many questions and shared a lot of information.

This company is amazing. Danny and Figley came to rescue me on the recommendation of my realtor. Woke up Friday morning to a clogged kitchen sink as I was preparing for showings. Thinking it was the garbage disposal after talking to Danny on the phone and a $500 repair. When he arrived a couple hours later it was a clog in the main line that went to the street. He brought in Figley and the drain was cleared and a $318 cost. They were professional and so kind. If I were not moving these guys would be my forever plumbers. What a team. Danny’s professionalism expands beyond the initial plumbing issue. I mentioned how my water bill has been more than usual and I am not at my residence much. Danny opened the water manhole we looked at the gauge for documentation. He pointed out a dial which was moving and we went back in and found 2/3 toilets were constantly running which I had not noticed due to the insidious nature of the leak.Danny came for a service call I had a water heater running water everywhere as I returned home from an out of state job x 2 weeks. At 1030 pm I was able to turn off my main water valve thanks to Danny previously switching an old rusted valve out as he noticed on a previous job. IF DANNY had not caught this and repaired during another plumbing issue I would NOT have been able to confidently shut my water off and stop water from running over my laundry room floor. Dont let the name fool you! They do a lot more plumbing work than the name suggests. I had a break in the clay sewer pipe outside my basement wall which required digging a 5 foot deep hole to replace broken pipes and the connection to my house. I was amazed at the efficiency, friendliness, and professionalism with which they met this task. Devin took charge and worked smoothly in cooperation with Solomon. Mike cleaned some interior drains with remarkable ease maneuvering in tight spaces.Shane oversaw the operation, and all of these men worked in comfortable coordination with each other. I cannot stress enough how great this company and its owner are. I found them via a neighborhood page shortly after moving to Whitestown (the owner personally responded to an inquiry I had posted and offered to help over a weekend). Since then Ive had them do several services/installs. Today, the owner himself went above and beyond to help me get me straightened out after my water softener froze and burst while I was out of town for the holidays. Coming home to water flowing from the garage is a pretty negative experience, but I honestly had such a great experience that I honestly dont see it as one. Danny installed a new water heater in our home. He arrived when expected, removed our old water heater and installed the new one. He noticed a gap between the vent pipe and the wall and alerted me to safety concerns. He made the necessary repairs. He reviewed temperature settings and maintenance recommendations upon completion of the installation. Danny was courteous and worked expeditiously and with respect for our home and budget.Later in the week, Danny completed a series of plumbing needs. One request was to install a new faucet in one of our bathrooms; he called me at work and explained that while he was happy to install the fixture I had purchased, it was not as good as the existing one. He was aware that this was a cosmetic request and not a necessary replacement so he wanted to make sure that I understood that the new faucet would not be as durable as what was already there. I appreciated his alerting me to this and I decided to leave the current fixture in place.Danny has been very mindful of our budget and very clear about costs, reviewing his thoughts/plans on the appropriate course of action for the various projects we contracted him to do. It has been a pleasure to work with Danny and we will continue to call him as additional plumbing needs occur.

I am renting a house in Carmel and have been here a year. When I first moved in, the hot water heater did not work and needed a part replaced. Jim came right away and was very friendly and trustworthy; he had to come back to fix it when I was at work. Almost a year to the day, the hot water heater was not working. The emergency number I had for the property was Dannys. He was so wonderful, trying to reach the realty company to get it fixed. Danny and his folks are some of the nicest (and most knowledgeable) tradesmen weve had in our home. After purchasing a home with some hidden plumbing leaks (most missed on the inspection), we ended up with five different leaks hidden behind the walls - including a full kitchen insurance claim. Danny only charged us one trip fee, and fixed every single leak right the first time. This included taking apart shower equipment, 3 sump pumps, and a kitchen remodel. Danny worked with and around all the other contractors and insurance, got the right parts under warranty, and above all educated us the whole way. After going through a full remodel, he was one of the only contractors we walked away with having a true comfort level and trust with.That, and those two fellas are genuinely good, funny, honest guys. We had alarms on our water sensor at our sump pump overnight on a Saturday into a Sunday and called first thing Sunday morning. We left a voicemail and had a return call in less than two minutes from Ryan, who was actually with his family on vacation. He walked through the issue and said someone would call us to schedule. We heard from Danny only a short time later who had us do some diagnostic tests to pinpoint the issue. Once he figured out the problem, he said that while we could probably wait to handle the issue until Monday, he would be able to come over within a couple hours to make the repair. As promised, he arrived within a few hours and repaired the issue quickly and within the budget quoted to us. Dan, the owner of the company, made several fixes in our house. One of the main things was detecting that there was a problem with our water softener. He replaced it with a new and better one. He was very patient with me as I watched him and asked several questions to learn about how water softeners work. Dan also replaced two sink faucets and other jobs at our house to repair a leak that was beginning to cause a bubble in the ceiling below the bathroom sink and tub.Dan was very prompt in arriving at our house. In fact, he called a couple of times to update me on his estimated arrival time. He was very courteous and great to work with. Danny is great, does wonderful work and is very reasonable on price. He completely rebuilt my master shower from scratch in the fall, looks and works better than it originally did. Danny and Michael completed a thorough inspection and was able to find the source of our leak. What impressed my wife and I was that they wanted to replicate the leak since it was our boys bathroom and they tend to splash and make a mess so it was hard to tell if it was them or an actual leak. After determining where the leak was coming from it was a quickly fixed. After a couple weeks we had another issue arise and again we called and they responded very quickly and efficiently to repair. After a very thorough inspection he figured out the culprit was a nearby window; the water had run down the wall and then towards the pump due to the slope of the floor. We just assumed it was the pump because it had so recently been replaced. Had a sump pump fail overnight and filled the basement with water. 317 Plumber was here within an hour of calling in the morning. Within 10 minutes, their technicians (Dave and Solomon) installed a temporary sump pump to get the water pumped out of the basement as quickly as possible. They were incredibly friendly, thorough, and allowed us time to think about how we will proceed in replacing the sump pump in the long-term. I cannot recommend their service more highly.
