I had some issues with sinks draining very slowly. I called up NorthStar and they got me in the same day, even in the first half of the day. John.T and Kamrenn showed up and were the nicest guys you could ever meet. They wore shoe covers. They laid down tarp to protect the floors. They cleaned up anything afterwards, but weren’t messy in the slightest. They also explained everything and diagnosed the issue perfectly. A new garbage disposal was installed and two drains cleaned. You don’t get this kind of service from many companies anymore and it is greatly appreciated. I wouldn’t want to lose these two as my employees. Nothing but great service.

I called NorthStar Plumbing for a rather mysterious sump pump problem. The hard to find kind. The plumber was very efficient and friendly and he found it and fixed it in record time. They also did a great job of putting in my battery back up pump for my main sump pump and at several hundred dollars less than the competition.

Brandon and Billy saved our lives. Our water service line leaked we had a different plumber set to do the job. They quit on us without warning after our water had already been shut off. We panic called plumbers to help us out and Northstar took the job. They got our water back in super fast and updated our meter and gave us handy accessible water shut offs. My sump pump stopped working and I was worried if it wasnt addressed as soon as possible it would start to flood the basement. I called them very early in the morning and the worker on the phone was extremely courteous and didnt talk down to me, even though I did a pretty poor job explaining the problem. He came over in about half an hour and had a new pump installed in less than an hour. I didnt catch his name but he was very nice and explained everything with patience and professionalism. I have used NorthStar in the past for a water heater and sprinkler hookup, the man who came that day was just as kind and professional. NorthStar has gained my loyalty, clearly they have good standards for their staff.

They were very prompt to come over and during their check found we had an internal water pipe that had frozen over the winter and when the water turn off was turned on in our basement, this pipe was leaking massively. That same day they were able to come back, replace the leaking pipe and get our outside faucet back into working order. Called them at 5:15am with an emergency situation as our sump pump had failed overnight, and water was quickly encroaching on the rest of our basement. By 6am, Ben was at my home to diagnose the problem. He had to leave to get the necessary parts and tools to fix the issue and install the new pump. By 7am, he was back at my house and was hard at work fixing the problem. By 9am, the job was complete. New pump and backup installed already taking care of all the ground water and draining our sump hole. Extremely quick, efficient, and professional. He even gave me a rundown of the new equipment, and offered advice for a completely unrelated plumbing question I had. I cannot thank Ben and NorthStar Plumbing enough for their quick response, timely repair, and ultimately, giving myself and my family the piece of mind to where we don’t have to worry about our basement being flooded any more. We needed a gas line moved in 24 hours, and nobody was able to get it scheduled.I called up NorthStar, and a couple hours later, Ben was there to scope out the job. He asked when we needed it done by, and we said the sooner the better. He ran back to the shop for parts, and had the job finished in the blink of an eye.The only downside was that the job wasnt cheap, but we were absolutely willing to pay the premium for their availability.

Northstar plumbing is the only company we have been able to trust consistently. We have had multiple plumbing disasters between water heater, water softener, sump pump, garbage disposal, and toilet problems. We used other companies and always ended up with follow up problems. This is never the case when we call Northstar. Their team is extremely knowledgeable and they have always been able to get a serviceman out promptly. Their attention to detail is excellent. One of the guys was out to check our sump pump and informed us that our water heater (only a year old installed by another company) was leaking. Northstar is the only plumbing company we intend to use moving forward. They provide fast, friendly, reliable and honest service.
