We recently had an issue with our furnace not cycling on and off properly. Your Technicians arrived in a timely manner on the first part of October and diagnosed the problem to a capacitor issue. This was replaced and all was well for a while. As luck would have it, a short while later, our blower motor started making a terrible noise! Again, the technician arrived swiftly, confirmed the blower motor was bad, returned to Fargo (we lived 30miles away), picked up the new motor and returned to replace it. We were not charged for any driving time or mileage because it was felt that the old motor was not adequately checked out the first time and on top of all that, I was given a Veterans discount. Because of this, my bill went to over $700 to just over $600!Home Heating has always been our go to folks, and will continue to be!

He came to my home, evaluated my system, answered my questions, and calculated what equipment that I needed, and gave me an exact estimate. Joe is extremely knowledgeable and gave me all the information that I needed and made it easy for me to make a decision. Definitely a man that knows his trade. Just had another good service experience with Home Heating and Plumbing. Woke up to a non-functional furnace. Temp in the house was dropping and uncomfortable. Called Home at about 10:00am and a tech named Brad was here by 11am. He walked me through this analysis of the issue, asked me ahead of time before he moved ahead with the repair and expense, and the heat was back on by 1pm. Pretty incredible.I had Home Heating and Plumbing come to our place last summer for a full inspection and cleaning of our AC unit. It was done really well. The tech was good about telling me what I needed to get fixed or serviced without trying to push a whole new unit. I appreciated that.This is a solid FM company that does high quality work in a timely and respectful way. Ill obviously use them going forward.

We have 2 furnaces in our home. One went out last August during the hottest part of the summer. Home Heating was able to get us fixed up with a new furnace in a fair amount of time. Then in February, our other furnace rusted out on the bottom and was leaking. Once again Home Heating came through for us and got us taken care of. The installers are always professional and friendly. Clean up was always done great. I would definitely recommend Home Heating.

My furnace died completely. From the diagnostic visit, to the install of the new unit, I couldnt have asked for a more painless and efficient process. It was done in the timeframe they stated, and came in right at the estimate given. They did a great job cleaning up afterwards, and took the time to explain what I need to know going forward for filter change, maintenance, etc., and thoroughly answered all my questions. They made sure the inspector got over here to sign off before they left for the day. When it came to trying to process the Xcel energy rebate, Joe took it upon himself to complete and submit the rebate application for me! I switched to Home Heating about 5 years ago, so glad I did, always been a good experience, and this install was no different!Recently noticed my toilet had a tank leak. They came out to look that afternoon, we came to the decision it was most cost effective to replace the toilet. They got me in the next day for install, which went quickly and smoothly. Always great, efficient service!

This fall I had my boiler serviced. The technician was very friendly and professional. Was in and out in a very timely manner. I had some issues pop up after our initial service visit. Home Heatings service dept. was exceptional. It took two separate service visits to figure out our issue and so far, the correction has been working. I am pleased with all the communication on the phone with their service dept as well as the professional service their team provided. We are happy we went with them to install our boiler system/tankless water heater (2 yrs. ago) and are looking forward to using them to service it in the years to come.

Upon waking the morning of December 26, the temperature in the house was a chilly 64°. I was a bit worried whether anyone would be able or willing to drive out - due to the recent ice storm and impending forecast. However, when I placed a call to Home Heating, they immediately set about to help me. They immediately put me on their service list and arranged for a repairman to verify an arrival time. Upon arriving, the repairman (KIM) didn’t hesitate - went right to work assessing the situation and setting forth a plan to get the parts needed. What really impressed me was that after providing a thorough explanation, KIM arranged for a 2nd repairman to be dispatched from the store with the necessary parts in order to complete the repairs before the end of the day. Everything was up and running in record time. I was very relieved not to be faced with a chilly evening in my home. KIM exhibited a high level of professionalism - friendly upon arrival, assessing the problem quickly, arranging for necessary parts, providing an explanation that I could easily understand, and when finished left the work area I’m quite certain cleaner and more tidy than he found it. I’d say Home Heating really went above and beyond my expectations! Top notch!

Air duct cleaning was great but I thought it was way too expensive (was expecting maybe $500 based off what friends have paid elsewhere and internet searching) and they even charged me more when they got here than what they told me over the phone ($860 instead of $750).Also, they do a $500/month giveaway to people who review them on Google. Nothing wrong with that but I think its useful to know why they have so many reviews on here.Regardless, Im still happy I hired them and am pleased with the job they did!

I had bought the home in 2020, and was built 2014. I had originally planned to just have Josh check the sump pump in prep for the fast melt. It was the original pump and he recommended replacement. He was very kind, efficient, and genuine in his work. He replaced the old pump, with a new combo pump with battery backup. He did an awesome job. I would recommend Home to any of my friends.

This last week (when we were experiencing 100°+ weather), our ac stopped working. The next morning, my husband called Home and they had a tech at my door within the next 4 hours. Joey got a quick description of the problem from us over the phone (not experts in the slightest) and knew right away what was going on and how to fix it. He was able to get our system running again very quickly and explained to us ways we can try to prevent these types of issues in the future. Joey was very polite and respectful, even down to his demeanor.

From point of sale with Joe to the installers I was impressed with their professionalism and job performance. Mat and Travis were punctual to the minute and took the time to walk the job while we discussed the scope of work, work breakdown structure and estimated completion times. They worked as a team, to dismantle the old systems and install new with no disruption to my home office activities.Care was taken to protect my home (floor coverings and doorways) we couldnt even tell a major installation has taken place. We noted a small leak in our Marathon water heater that was about 12 years old. Called for service check and they were able to come out within 24 hours. Determined that a new water heater was needed. When purchasing our original Marathon water heater it came with a life time warranty. Service personnel quickly contacted the business that it was purchased from, went to pick up a replacement heater and installed it all within about 2-3 hours! Great service. Thank you!

Trevor from Home Heating service our fireplace and did an excellent job. Looks like its practically brand new. Well worth the fee. Trevor was very personable, friendly and professional. He did an outstanding job of cleaning up after himself. Hes a great asset to Home Heating.He also serviced our electric heater which took 10 minutes of him checking the filter and the electrical wiring. Informed I should replace the filter which I had to order online. For what we got, the service fee seemed very expensive. Especially when I had to spend another $40 on a filter. My system uses a 4 inch thick filter. For that kind of fee for a 10 minute check of wires, I think the filter should have been included, even if Home had to order it for me. If they would have covered the filter cost, I would have given them a 5 star review.

When the new motor failed multiple times, he was prompt to come back and replace again at no charge, and eventually went to a different supplier as the motors that were failing seemed to have come from a bad batch.

Joe was great to work with in getting a quote. He answered all our questions and sent us a quote the same day he came out. We did get quotes from other contractors but Home came in a bit cheaper than others and were more professional and friendly. Nick and Reggie did our install and they were great! They showed up early, finished an hour before the quoted time and made sure to walk us through everything we needed to know about our new furnace and AC. Our thermostat did fail a few days after the install but Home was quick to come out an replace it under warranty! Joe and Joel did an amazing job, after I called in and was told your company didn’t do anything with sewer vents on the roof they came out, unplugged the vents and made copper T pipes to put in to keep unplugged. They also found a floor drain in the basement that was cracked and determined a lot of the septic smell was coming from there. They came back out and jackhammered the drain out and replaced and were extremely neat and cleaned up great, besides a bit of concrete dust I had nothing else to clean up. I have not had any issues since they were out. I have had issues with this for several years and never had anyone find the problem, they always just put a bandage on it. My mom and brother have also had Joe over and have been extremely happy, I recommended your company to my neighbor and your guys came out and took care of their problems also. I liked the prompt service from the time I called to schedule until I had an appointment was less than 3 hours. While I needed to have two separate service times (one for the furnace and one for the fireplace), I appreciated the quick scheduling. Both of the service guys were knowledgeable, respectful and made sure that everything was cleaned up and I working order before they left. The only negative comment I would make is that the service technician said someone from the office would call regarding details of the furnace replacement scheduled the following Monday (this was Thursday) and I did not receive a call so needed to call them late Friday afternoon and got everything resolved.

Justin Aguirre showed up about 20 minutes after my phone call, knew right away that we needed a new water heater, under warranty, and had it installed in what I considered incredibly fast. Justin was very professional, worked hard and fast, and was pleasant to deal with. Travis and Darrin handled the install professionally and were pleasant to work with. I would recommend Home Heating.

We had work done in August of 2016 and couldnt be happier! I spoke to Heather in the office who made sure we were taken care of and that we received prompt service. She sent Brandon over to look as to why our air wasnt working. We had just built our house about two years prior so beings it was a new unit, we were kind of disappointed that we were already having problems. He took a look at the unit, ran a few tests and came back the next day. Since it had only been a few years, we were still under warranty for parts but not labor. As we know, labor is sometimes the most expensive part. After he determined what the issue was, I asked about the warranty and had mentioned that it was kind of a bummer because we were right outside of warranty but the unit is still so new. We really had only used the air unit for one summer. He went outside to grab some tools and to call the shop. When he returned, it was to my surprise that they were going to cover ALL costs and not make us pay. Not only did he fix our issue timely, but he also took customer service to a whole other level. In any remodeling project there are always challenges that come up. The installers met every challenge and found ways of getting the job done right while preserving the look and functionality of the house.The workmanship was excellent. Every heat and return run was well planned and really became a work of art when the job was completed. The materials they used were all good quality, with many special fittings that were perfect for the job. They also coordinated well with the general contractor and other tradesmen.Overall, I’m very pleased with the work performed by Home Heating on this project. Had Scott install a new furnace fan for me and the new motor was bad and they were there right away the next morning to change it out again. When things go wrong is how you tell how good the service is and they came through for me. I wont call anywhere else.

I called other Plumbing companies in the area and all wanted to come to my house (charging me for a service call) before they would give me an estimate on what they would charge to install a shower/tub faucets. Adam came out to do the installation, he did a fantastic job! Not only did he install the fixtures, but he took the time to explain to me how to repair the wall that he had to cut into to access the pipes. Thank you!

I am extremely impressed with the customer service I received from Matt and the Heating team at Home Heating, Plumbing & A/C. My wife and I had a home built a couple of years ago, and we are now in the process of finishing the rest of our basement. My wife and I are managing the project ourselves through subcontractors, and we needed some heat runs added and I had a lot of questions. Matt took the time to answer questions for me related to the project on several occasions and either answered when I called in or called me back within a half hour of leaving a message. He even gave insights into a low cost way to plan for a potential future fireplace so we dont have to tear apart our ceiling if we want to add a fireplace in the future. Matt was always very patient with my many questions and always made me feel like a valued customer even though this particular project was rather small. Matts team also also came in to add our returns within a week of calling and finished up the job in one afternoon, did a great job, and cleaned up their mess before leaving. From purchasing our house in 2017 to present Home Heating has been amazing. Matt Thune has been there to answer all of our questions about age of the furnace, if it was running right, to having Charlie D. come out and do a furnace tune up. When it was time to pull the trigger and get a new furnace and a/c system Matt T. walked me through the entire process from what I needed to do on my side to talking to Glen to schedule our installation for Nov. 21st. What puts Home Heating above the rest of the group? Its because they were there when we needed them. On Nov. 2nd over the night we ran out of oil, I emailed Matt T. Monday morning seeing if we could get in sooner. Matt T. and Glen worked together to find away to get us the furnace installation by Tuesday, a total of 15 minutes wait until he called me with success. This meant so much since I have a young child. Tuesday morning arrived, Matt and Jeremy showed up 15 minutes early. They were polite and explained the plan to me step by step. When they were done they walked me though everything they had done, along with the thermostat and how to set it up. From my first phone call through the process including the follow up with me a week later has been an amazing experience.

The technician checked out everything and confirmed it had a sensor that once the AC warmed up allowed the fan to kick. Everything was working correctly despite that fact our AC unit is 34 years old. The Technician was on time, very knowledgeable, and professional.

This is the 3nd time we have had Home come fix our HVAC. Our furnace once & AC twice. Our furnace would kick on but then shut off right away. Tech showed us the issue (flame sensor was dirty) & how to fix it ourselves if it happened again. 2nd visit was to recharge the Freon. They were very helpful & informative. A couple years later our AC unit was running very noisily. The tech couldnt replicate the noise but was very receptive to our explanations & came up with a solution as well as alternatives should the fix not work. Very courteous, professional, & informative. I highly recommend Home for your HVAC needs.
