I had such a great experience with this company. My technician was so efficient and did an excellent job installing smoke alarms in my house and a new fireplace switch. The electricians that worked on our generator hookup and cadet heater did an excellent job. They were also very professional and informative. When they were finished, they took the time to answer several of our questions and made sure that we understood what they explained to us. That is why we chose Doug Palmer Electric for this job because of the great work they did for us a few years prior.

I had DPE wire a 50amp generator inlet. I am happy with their work so far. The electrician kept me updated about having to run to the store to buy a special clamp needed to finish relocating/wiring the range breaker that had to be moved to a new slot in the panel because the interlock/breaker for the generator inlet needs to be at the very top of the panel. Work was done fairly quickly and I powered my house with my generator for an hour once work was completed. He walked me through the steps to switch power over to the generator and how to restore power as well as pointing out a sticker detailing the steps if I ever need a refresher.

The electricians did a great job in solving three tasks. They finished faster than I expected. Before leaving, I asked them to adjust the wiring in the bathroom so the fan and nightlight in the new fixture would work properly, and they accomplished that in a short time.

He had to crawl under my house quite a few times (and its really a mess down there) so he earns extra points for that! Extremely professional installation. From the moment I called the scheduling was on point. They did the permit and shutoff seamlessly it was like a well orchestrated machine. I used to make jokes about the house burning down due to the old panel, after what we found out I was closer to reality than I had imagined.I would recommend this company to anyone needing a electrical install done. Cant say enough good things about my experience with Doug Palmer Electric.We reached out regarding installing patio lighting and the response was prompt. When I say prompt there was an estimator at my home the next business day.The estimator was very personable and extremely knowledgeable as we didnt know exactly what we wanted/needed.Within 10 days we were emailed quotes on the different solutions we requested.Once we let them know the route we wanted to take there was a call from a scheduler within 24 hours.That same week the installation crew arrived. They were very professional, quick and left zero mess inspite of drilling through walls! Once the lighting was installed they took the time to teach us how to use the very cool looking, energy efficient, blue tooth enabled lighting system.Played our first game of night basketball under the lights yesterday. They are exactly what we asked for: provide enough light for our space without invading on our neighbors space. I didnt think I could be so excited about lighting but I am.The technology allows us to set the mood for our outdoor space all from my phone :)!In closing I would say Doug Plamer Electric is the most efficient service provider of any kind Ive dealt with since moving from Northeast to Eugene.
