Mike was the first contractor I have ever worked with and the one word that comes to mind is “integrity!” He came highly recommended by some friends that have used him for a couple of projects in the past so I had seen his work & heard how reliable his company was. When he ran into a snag he made sure he found someone who could take over and get the job done! Not many people would do what he did. We hired First Choice to renovate our laundry room and were super pleased with the end result. The initial work was done by a subcontractor and was good, with the exception of a couple spots that werent 100% perfect. We communicated our concerns to First Choice and they very promptly returned to our house to address the issue and did everything they could to ensure we were fully satisfied with the work. Wed hire First Choice again with complete confidence in the quality of their work.

After getting two other bids, 1st Choice was recommended to us by a supplier. My wife and I could not be more pleased with this contractor for our kitchen renovation. Mike was understanding, professional and very pleasant to work with. Mike assigned Neil to conduct most of the work on the kitchen. What a pleasant craftsman with a high level of skill and attention to detail! We loved working with him. Best of all, very easy to work with and accommodating to changes and suggestions without push back or frustration. In fact, every member of his renovation team was just wonderful to work with. We so love our new kitchen.

Everyone is super nice and professional, starting from the estimate from Mike to April, the project manager, to all the contractors. They all did an amazing job, and I am extremely happy with my kitchen remodel results. I will definitely recommend them and use them again.

Mike and the team at FC Home Improvements did an outstanding job on our kitchen remodel. We were very particular in our color and stain choices; his team gave us many options until we found the right one. Mike was great about explaining the process, as well as the timeline. His team also made some great suggestions that we hadnt thought of (like swapping cabinets for drawers), and we are thrilled with the end result. Mike and the team at First Choice is my go-to when asked for a recommendation on a remodeling company; I highly recommend them!

After getting a few bids on our remodel project, we went with First Choice. The quote was reasonable and Mike was willing to work with our scheduling needs as we transitioned from a previous home to our new home. We had the entire home’s floors converted to hardwood, installed new kitchen countertops and backsplash, painted our cabinets, completely remodeled both bathrooms, and re-finished our fireplace. Throughout the project the First Choice team was always very responsive, and they maintained a fast progress with great quality. The project finished a week earlier than the quoted timeline and the results are fantastic. The First Choice team helped turn our house into our dream home! Would definitely work with them again.

We needed to remodel both of our bathrooms, and First Choice turned out to be an excellent choice. They were very professional and thoroughly explained everything during the process. Mike, Shaina, and Rena were super helpful and responsive, which made the whole thing less stressful. Neal, who was in charge of our project, and crew were great and did excellent work. Neal even made several suggestions that we wouldnt have thought of, which we feel made the end result even better than we expected. We are super happy with the results! We originally called them because of their reviews and 5 star rating, but would use them again in a heartbeat because of their professionalism, helpfulness, and beautiful quality work.

Bathroom Remodel - One of the few companies that would take on a small job. Needs improvement on coordination by contractor. Felt like I was the onsite management. Quality of work was good not perfect. Time Frame for start to completion long for such a small project. Covid did impact price and completion time. Coordination with material suppliers was poor.

We are so pleased with our experience with First Choice Home Improvements for our downstairs remodel. Mike was extremely professional and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. He was willing to work with us as we revised the scope of work until we felt comfortable with the price. You can tell that Mike really cares about providing the best experience and end result for his clients. The crew was professional, clean and respectful of our space. All of the work done by the crew and laborers was exceptional. There was someone at our home working every day. We were given an 8-10 week timeline for our project and they finished in 8 weeks! Going in to a home remodel we were weary of the headache it could be, but working with First Choice made the whole process stress free and easy! First Choice turned our home in to our dream home.
