Outstanding Service - Highly Recommend!I cant thank Stephen’s Plumbing enough for their quick and professional response. It was the Saturday of Labor Day weekend, and our sewer pipe to the street was clogged, causing a messy backup in the basement. Well its about time I called this company! Look no further! I was told I needed an new furnace. Technician Joe from Stephens was here over an hour cleaning and checking out our furnace. I needed a plumber. My friend had just used Stephens for an emergency a few weeks ago and recommended them. My ceiling was leaking from a problem in the unit above. After the upstairs unit was repaired, I asked Perry if he could come back to my unit to check my toilets because I didnt want the same thing to happen in my unit and I knew the toilet in one of my bathrooms was loose. He fixed both toilets for me and fixed 2 faucets in the main bathroom. Perry was super friendly and explained everything well. And I was just very happy he did my apartment while he was here already without making another trip. The fee charged was reasonable and I highly recommend this company. 😊⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This business is GREAT. I called for a clogged toilet & got an appointment the next day. Later I got a call they had a cancellation & would be out today. The problem was fixed but later my tub wasnt draining. They came back the same day & fixed the problem. I spoke to three ladies about my dilemma & all were kind & helpful. Great service, they do a quick determination whether its a big or smaller issue.if its not critical they schedule a service call, or for immediate trouble they put on the lights and sirens and come right over.The techs are pleasant, explain what theyre doing and give you options you can pick to solve the issue. Called to have outdoor water spigot and a bit of pipe that froze to be replaced. Furnace had not been working for 2 weeks. Lockwood HVAC told us the 3 year old furnace needed a 900.00 part and had to be ordered. Which we believed UNTIL, the plumber/HVAC repair man from Stephans came to replace piping and put the furnace burner back together after cleaning the burner that Lockwood HVAC, Lockport said we needed to pay 900.00 for. And we paid under 500.00 for these 2 repairs. Stephens has repaired many problems in many homes we have had over the years. We are so grateful for their honesty and that they will travel to Lockport from Downers Grove. We had an angel this day!

Had a wonderful experience with Stephens. As most things go, bad timing for my main sump pump to fail. It was a Friday morning and an entire weekend of rain was in the forecast. This was a disaster waiting to happen for my basement. I called Stephens in the morning. They were booked but said theyd call me back if anything opened up. I got a call a little later in the day and said someone can be there within an hour. I said Ill take it!The individual, Perry, who came was the definition of professional. Polite, thorough, and customer oriented. Diagnosed the failure, explained the solutions, and was timely and efficient in his work. My dog even liked him :)In a time of need, Stephens came through. A big and hearty thanks to Kevin and his team over at Stephens. The definition of go to customer service. Ill be going to them for all my plumbing needs! Thanks!

My 1st mistake was going to a big box store instead of them. All I had was a leaky bathroom faucet, and I was having trouble getting out the cartridge. I had no idea the brand of the faucet or the tools I needed. The big box store sold me a tool that didnt work. These guys immediately knew exactly what I had, the size I needed, and the parts in stock. And if they didnt have it in stock, they said they could order what I needed. They were courteous, knowledgeable, and never once tried to upsell me. Prices were very reasonable too. If youre looking for knowledge, along with the parts, I would highly recommend them instead of wasting time with those other stores that have professionals that couldnt help in the slightest. Thank you again Stephens Plumbing and Heating for saving me time, aggrevation, and money. I will go back for any future plumbing needs.

I highly recommend Stephens. I have used them for a water heater, gas line leak and to replace two outdoor spigots. The plumbers call before showing up and have been very professional. They communicate throughout making repairs and give you options.My last service with them was for the spigot replacement. Rich was the plumber they sent and he did an excellent job.Their prices are fair and use quality parts.I will continue to use Stephens for all plumbing needs at my house.

Stephens Plumbing and Heating is excellent. We have used them for over 20 years now, in 2 houses, for everything from repairs & maintenance to solving big issues, to taking on big remodel projects, to installations of new HVAC and new water heater, new toilets and sinks and faucets. Their Plumbers (Especially Kelly, but also Mark and Chad) and their HVAC guys (Chad and Ryan) are all sharp, experienced, knowledgeable, focused, thoughtful, and get stuff done. They are certainly not the cheapest firm around, but you can be sure that everything will be done right.

I called in the late afternoon in middle of our worst cold spell this year when my boiler failed and the temp in the house was dropping quickly. The person on the other end of the call was calm, polite, and compassionate. She explained that the personnel who worked on boilers were all busy but would be available the next afternoon... Ouch! And that if there was any chance to get someone earlier they would. We made it through the night and by late morning Steve A. called to say he would be at my house momentarily. He was. He diagnosed the problem, two failed relay switches, called for replacement parts which arrived quickly and had them installed in an hour. This is an old system and Steve took his time to insure that all was working well before he left. He was very knowledgeable diagnosing the problem quickly and analyzing the set up before replacing with new parts. Thanks to all involved.

A well known pluming and heating company of the Chicago land area. I had a heating and AC installed. Cost is locally competitive, but the quality of work outstanding. Crew was done within two days. This was my second time using their services. They replaced an aging hot water heater a few years back. I would recommend this company to friends & family.

Typically Im a DIYer when it comes to plumbing but if the job is beyond my expertise I wont hesitate to call these guys again.

Chris came to our residence in December for an annual check-up - he was courteous, knowledgeable and professional.Last week, we had no heat and upon calling Stephens Plumbing and Heating, Bob came to our residence within the time of arrival promised. He was also very friendly and professional. He was able to fix our furnace (igniter relay) via parts he had in his truck. The time he arrived was after hours. The charge for this visit, parts and labor was all very reasonable - and very much appreciated.Both Chris and Bob were great technicians and clearly proud to be with the Stephens Plumbing and Heating company. A big shout-out is in order to Chris, whose ability to find a discontinued part saved us considerable expense and prevented a messy repair job. We needed to replace a stem for a leaky outdoor faucet connecting to our home. Unfortunately, the replacement stem was no longer available because the part was very old. No one anywhere online and offline had the stem. As a result, we were looking at an expensive and disruptive repair to stop the leak. But Chris refused to give up. He conducted an extensive online search and finally located the replacement part from a supplier. As a result, he solved our problem with minimal expense. Thank you, Chris! You really came through for us.

It malfunctioned in a major way earlier this week and they diligently worked a redesign, after consulting with the manufacturer, so that it wouldnt happen again. At no charge to us. Poor John worked outside in the heat, humidity and rain today--dodging thunderstorms--to make sure it works and stays working.Theyve never overcharged us or oversold us in the 10+ years weve used them. Stephens is the absolute best option for all things plumbing and HVAC. They are my go-to for maintenance and now for emergencies. I just called them at 3:30 on a Friday to fix a shower valve that seized up. It became an emergency because I had to shut off the main water line. 2 techs came in 10 minutes, fixed the shower quickly and bailed me out of my situation. While they were cleaning up they noticed I had a slow running sink and just proactively fixed that too! Incredible service. Really trust these guys and respect their work ethic.
