The CSR was very friendly and was able to connect with their Dispatcher quickly to get us on the schedule same day.     7/25/24New update! Different problem.Yesterday Adam came out to address an issue I am having with my Zone First damper system for my first floor HVAC system.He was able to diagnose my issue quickly, and temporarily fixed my dampers so I can continue to use my bedroom tstat without having my furnace shut down because air had no where to go! I’m so happy that I can stay cool until my new dampers come in!As with anyone Bair sends out to my house, Adam was amazing to work with. He is a sweet man, and always had a smile on his face.Once again, 11/10 would recommend Robert Bair for anything plumbing, HVAC, etc.1/9/24 Adding to my previous review. I had Steve and Pedro come out to fix an issue with my Navien tankless hot water heater. They diagnosed and repaired the problem quickly and showed me how to do it myself next time it acts up. I cannot say enough about how happy I have been using them for the past year. 10/10 would recommend.My sump pump had been acting up and Ben came out and had me perfect in what felt like five minutes. Can’t say enough about how professional and personable everyone was, from Kate as well as the others I spoke to on the phone (sorry, next time I will write down all names ), to Ben and the man that came with him (once again, have to write down names). Amazing service. 10/10!!!

    I called Robert Bair Plumbing around 8:30pm on Thursday night, after my 19 year old hot water heater died. Jonathan arrived ~10am on Friday and was done in a little under 2 hours, with the removal of the old one and installation of the new one. Jonathan was professional and courteous. He explained what they were doing and answered a few questions. Great customer service, and the lady at the office kept me updated every step of the way.

    Highly recommend! We had Jack out to provide an estimate and he was punctual, polite, and experienced. We got a couple other quotes and didn’t feel the same level of quality/care, so we went with Bair. ALSO, their team provided an estimate on the spot where as the others took a week to get a quote.     My plumbing was backing up on a Saturday evening around 8:00pm! After calling several plumbing companies, Bair was the first to call me back (by far) by a knowledgable tech who understood my issue.     I had a lot of questions about installing a new sump pump and backup system, and Steve patiently and graciously talked me through the options to find the correct solution for my application. His help was very valuable! They were able to fit me into the schedule in a timely manner. In addition to the sump pump, we needed a toilet seal replacement. However, during disassembly, the technician pointed out a concern that made it necessary to replace the entire toilet. I was impressed that they were able to have a toilet brought in from their warehouse so that the repair could be made in the same visit. I also appreciated the technicians taking the time to broadly assess the plumbing in our home as part of their preferred customer plan. They gave helpful advice and recommendations, and it was great education for us! I’ve had great experiences with Robert Bair, and I highly recommend them!

    Of course the water heater went out on the Friday before a holiday weekend. Left a message on their VM and first thing Tuesday morning they were at the house replacing the failed unit.     While we had several months to wait for parts (due to sourcing and Grohe manufacturing-still missing one handle) RB was timely. However, when the installation required a tool that the technician didn’t have, we were told that it would be readily available within days. When I called about 3 weeks later, I was told that the only note in my file was regarding the handle. Apparently, no note regarding the special tool was attached to my file, so I was not contacted when it arrived. After that was taken into account, everything was fine. We have used RB for over 25 years and continue to be happy with the company.

    Hearing that Robert Bair is the best in town, we hired them when I moved into a home that had a VERY dated A/C unit. The home inspector said it was likely 30+ years old and was going to be a major project to break down and clear out, especially given the size of the unit and how narrow our basement stairs are.The company provided great consultation on the type of system we needed. They took out the old unit and installed the new. They also provided a great overview on how to connect the system to WiFi, change the filters, and conduct routine maintenance. While they were at it, they patched up some old ductwork and did an outstanding job with that.Great service, great quality products, and great company! I definitely recommend them.

    I called to replace a faulty outdoor hose bib faucet and to add an air chamber to stop the hammering of a hot water supply pipe that another plumbing companys crew had modified when they removed my water softener because our Lake Michigan water needs no softening,Jason and Ernie were available the same day and promptly fixed my problems. They were very helpful and efficient, did great work and clesned up after themselves. Robert Bair plumbers are usually available on the same day that you call to schedule work and always do good work that completely addresses my plumbing jobs.

    I have used Robert Bair Plumbing since early 80’s. We just had them come to our condo to install a $325.. dish washer from ABT. Replacing an existing older dishwasher. We also need a water faucet replaced because of a small leak. The charge was $1900.00! $360.00 for valve and $1600.00 for dishwasher install. I wasn’t there I was traveling. My wife was shocked at price. The valve was replaced NO Choice. The dishwasher was not installed. The price was just short of a Felony!!! Taking advantage of people is unconscionable! Shame. I will never use them again. You should not either. I’ll install it myself. Teflon tape, 3 channel lock pliers attach the drain level max one hour. I will share this on social media weekly for the next 16 weeks. $100 a week seems about right for my time and their wasting our time. Additionally the tech offered a senior discount. Sounded like he realized my wife would not be taken advantage of. They don’t deserve any stars. Just a a dirty plunger😡

    Highly recommend Robert Bair Plumbing. I recently engaged them to replace our water heater and they did a fantastic job. Neat, conscientious, quality products and reasonably priced. We have a unique element to our water heating system that previous plumbers struggled to understand and fully utilize. Steve, one of Robert Bairs technicians, immedieatly understood what was happening and quickly made the adjustments neccessary to optimize our system.     We had a sewer backup during cold weather and over a holiday. When I called for help, I was told someone could come the following day which was fine with so many people having problems with the cold weather. A plumber, Joe, and apprentice, Jack, showed up on time and explained what they would do and the cost if they do not find further issues. They were both very nice, personable and professional. They fixed it fine and cleaned up after themselves. I would call them again (but hope I dont have to).

    I had my furnace cleaned by Robert Bair. After I began experiencing difficulties with the unit. It took two return calls but we figured out that the problem was coming from the Nest thermostat and not the furnace.Even though it was stressful worrying what had happened, I was very satisfied with the speed in which they sent technicians out and the professionalism. Additionally they didnt try to charge me for the re-calls since the unit had been working before the cleaning.My only comment would be that they might need to mention doing a re-set on your thermostat after cleaning, since the newer thermostats have some issues.Would definitely recommend though.

    I can give an unqualified recommendation to Robert Bair Plumbing, Heating & Air. My water heater failed on Tuesday afternoon. I called them on Wednesday morning at 8:30 am. The water heater was diagnosed, failed part replaced and repaired before noon. Jim, the serviceman was the consummate professional.     We have used bair a few times. They have rodded out our main sewer line a few times. Tree roots keep getting in there. One time we had some sewage backing up in our basement and they could not get it figured out. Kept rodding it out but nothing was working. He went to the alley and found the main sewer manhole was all backed up. Probably numerous homes in the area getting sewage into their basements. Anyways, he told us to contact the sewer district and get reimbursed. We paid over 600$ for that visit because they were out there for numerous hours. The city reimbursed us. Plumber worked hard until our issue was resolved. Great service.

    After calling numerous other firms that couldnt or wouldnt send someone for a sewer blockage during a weeklong sub zero cold wave, I called Bair Plumbing and had an estimator out the next morning, received a fair quote for replacing a 40 foot run of 65 year old cast iron former septic feed and kitchen drain. They came out the next day and retrenched the line with pvc pipe into the house. I must say that the two guys Joe and John did an excellent job considering the weather. Very thorough and professional. If I have to I will use them again and highly recommend their services.

    I dont write too many reviews but I wanted to give a shout out to David J. He stopped out after hours because my furnace went out on this negative degree day. He determined in 20 minutes that my blower motor bracket was broken. Im pretty handy, and I dont know how he figured this one out as it was on the far side out of view. He left and felt pretty bad for not getting it going as he didnt have a bracket(Goodman furnace 5in blower). He said if he had a brick he could rig it up so I could have heat. That got me thinking and after he left I went outside and pulled a landscaping brick and socket to put in place to hold the motor in position till my bracket comes in and I dont know if I would have thought of that idea if it wasnt for him. Im able to sleep at 68 degrees instead of the 50 I was at!
