    After reading all the Google reviews and researching available plumbers, I chose Votaw Plumbing. I am so happy that I found them. Their service was prompt and professional. The price was very good, too. If I need a plumber in the future, I will definitely use them again.

    This is long overdue. Two years ago, we added on to our house. After a less than stellar experience trying to get started with another plumber, we were looking for new contractors to take on this big job.We found Votaw and we remain so glad we did.Roger and Wade took the job with some hesitation. But they were amazing, patient, flexible, professional and responsive and courteous throughout.Their ability to work with the other contractors on the job site was exemplary (not something you normally think about, but so important.)And their work? Second to none. Top notch.Highly recommend these guys for any plumbing work you may need, no matter the size of the job.

    Votaw Plumbing responded quickly to our plumbing needs and had our hot water heater replaced in just a few hours. The serviceman, Ryan, was knowledgeable, polite, personable and easy to work with. He was even open to providing a solution to an outside faucet repair while he was here. We will definitely call them again and would highly recommend their services. Fair prices too!

    I called Votaw Plumbing with an emergency leak at noon and they were able to come within 2 hours. They gave me instructions over the phone to stop the leak while they were on their way. Roger and Wade were very professional and called me before they arrived. They fixed the leak and told me exactly what was wrong and even showed me how to trouble shoot and fix it in the future. I can’t thank you enough for making my day so much easier. I definitely recommend these guys and will be calling them again for all of my future plumbing work. Thank you Roger and Wade!

    Ive known Roger Votaw for years. Hes a good man with a great work ethic. Today I met his partner, Wade. Top notch guy as well. They replaced a water heater on short notice after ours suddenly died. They do a great job at a fair price. I highly recommend them. Trustworthy company!

    My husband and I needed the services of a plumber to find and repair a second floor shower leak that was leaking into the family room below.After looking on line for a plumber and looking through reviews we chose Votaw Plumbing.Wade and Roger came to our rescue spending time to ensure that the leak was found and repaired.We also had an old shower door, toilet and some vanity faucets replaced.Wade and Roger were amazing. They were punctual, took care to explain in detail what they were going to do, left everything clean when they were finished and did all of this at a very reasonable rate.My husband and I couldnt be more pleased.

    Excellent plumbing company. Very professional. I have no complaints whatsoever with these guys. New to the area, I originally contacted them for a project I needed done. I was very glad I decided to use them because they did an excellent job on the project and it was completed exactly as I had envisioned. Then, I called them again for a completely separate issue I was having. It turned out to be a minor problem which was resolved quickly and they did not charge me anything for the service call! I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the DeKalb County area in need of or searching for a residential plumber.

    So far I have used Votaw Plumbing twice. First time i actually had a problem with a gas line that nicor shut us down for. I called Wade and Roger told them what was going on and they came out the next day and worked their butts off and got all the work done that same day. I then called Wade today to see if they could come out because we had a backup in the kitchen sink. Wade told me that they were super busy but if that had a little time at the end of the day they would stop by. I got a call a little later and Wade said they were on the way. Wade and Roger came to the house unpacked there gear got the pipe rodded out in a matter of a few minutes and we were back and running again. At the end of the day Roger and Wade are very smart and hard workers, very versed in what they do and I will definitely be calling them for any and all plumbing needs that we have in the future. Thanks guys for the great work.

    Called Votaw at closing time on Friday evening, with water shut off due to major leakage, they responsed immediately and where at my home within half an hour. Extremely knowledgeable, and professional; they took care of an awkwardly placed water line leak and the water was back on in short order. I wouldn’t hesitate to refer them or call them again!

    If we could give them 6 stars, we would. They solved a problem we’ve been struggling with for years.We called a different plumbing service first. They were awful and acted like they didn’t want our business. They didn’t even understand the issue.Roger and Wade are knowledgeable, professional, prompt, hard working guys. We HIGHLY recommend them.

    Update 2021. Called in am because we had a leaky gas valve. They came during the time frame they said, same day. Once again very responsive, and great work. Highly recommend! Very responsive. Did great work, reasonable fee considering it was an emergency. Polite and did not leave a mess. Would highly recommend and call again!

    Needed to replace the water main shut-off valve, as the old one would not fully shut off the water to the house. While it wasnt an emergency (yet), Votaw Plumbing provided prompt, professional, and reasonable service...and it looks good too! Will use again.

    My workplace contracts with Votaw so I knew to call them when our shower stall and water heater were acting up at home; they normally dont come out to the Naperville area but made an exception; service comes first for these guys! Less than a 24 hour turn around, and they saved us thousands by identifying a simple fix for the problem. True professionals.

    I called them for for help with a new dishwasher installation that Best Buy canceled last minute and although they couldn’t help me with the installation they were so nice about it and recommended someone directly and even offered to call Roger Seldal themselves to let him know we are looking for help. Excellent customer service and if I had the time to wait for their availability I would, sadly I need my new dishwasher installed as soon as possible. Thank you soooo much!!

    I called Votaw Plumbing LLC because of an emergency sewer line clog. They definitely got to my home in a timely fashion and didnt leave until a section of the sewer line was replaced. I felt that they were beyond fair in pricing for a tough job in very cold conditions. Wouldnt hesitate to hire them again and would recommend them to anyone. Angies list had them at the top of their list and that is how I found them to call.

    Roger and Wade showed up within a half-hour of me calling them to help solve a plumbing mystery. They determined that the cause of the leak wasnt plumbing related but had to do with my refrigerator. They didnt even charge me for their time!     We just moved to DeKalb to an old 1920s house. A pipe in our kitchen froze, cracked, and started gushing when it thawed. Votaw answered late on a Friday when nobody else in DeKalb who offers 24 hour service would. Roger and Wade stayed late, identified the source of the leak and came back as promised the next morning to enact the repair. They showed concern for being minimally invasive and professional in making cuts to access the piping, and in cleanup. They were polite, friendly, and informative - I learned a lot about my house. A fair price for the quality of work on an emergency service call. I learned they do remodel work as well - I will definitely give them a call when the time comes.
