Our A/C went out late last night. I called FYI Contracting LLC today to schedule an appt. ASHLEY called back promptly and had a very good attitude and very helpful disposition (which is so rare these days!). I told her that my 76-year-old wife has Multiple Sclerosis (MS), cannot tolerate heat, and is lying on the couch, looking like a zombie.ASHLEY said let me see how early I can get someone out there. A few minutes later she came back on the line and said I can have someone there between 10 and 2 tomorrow! My wife could hear her on the speakerphone and immediately started to smile--she came back to life!So I would give ASHLEY the full 5 out of 5 stars (but actually 10 out of 5 if possible)! It is 101 degrees outside (with a feels-like temp of 110 degrees), so A/C technicians are at a premium. ASHLEY was thoughtful and kind about my wife’s illness, and went way above and beyond the call of duty!My wife and I truly appreciate the excellent customer service provided by ASHLEY!!Thank you so much!John Baker

I want to thank FYI Contracting LLC for stepping up to my emergency plumbing needs today. To their boss thanks for sending your crew, it literally only took minutes for the pipeline to flood my entire master bathroom shower, floor and water closet. As wellI as my guest bathroom and half bath. You literally saved my entire house from flooding. A similar situation occurred with my Nextdoor neighbors a few years ago costing them more than $18,000 in repairs.Brain and James did a OUTSTANDING job and explained in detail how my particular pipes were set up. They ensured that toilets and showers were not backing up before leaving. Praying 🙏🏼 it won’t happen again. I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to Yvonne for her OUTSTANDING customer service. She spoke to her boss immediately to let him know the urgency of my situation. Without her desire to help I would have had to wait until their next appointment which wasn’t until next Tuesday…today is Friday. I discovered a leak in the water line into the house mid-morning on 10/25/24. I have a contract with Home Service. So I called them.Home Serve called FYI while I was on the phone. They sent an emergency crew very quickly and it was fixed in about 45 minutes. It was a cracked value below the shut off lever.Paul and his crew did a quick, clean fix of the problem. They even rewrapped my equipment (in line filter and conditioning system).I am very grateful to FYI for their attention to my problem. They realized it could be a major problem over the weekend so they came immediately.

Last evening my ac stopped working so I called it in to my HomeServe Service Company we pay for through our CenterPoint account and they had a company named FYI Contracting LLC - HVAC reached out to me. They were super-fast responsive and got me onto their schedule the same day that they called me and are arriving within one hour of the initial phone call!!! A wonderful and pleasant young lady named Ashley in HVAC with dispatching called to schedule the appointment and to listen to my concerns followed by some details of what I thought may be the problem. She spoke to me with such a happy and eager voice to help knowing how hot Texas heat can be. I explained how my mother lives with me and Ms. Ashley was very concerned in making sure we get serviced right away to get our home back up and running so that the rest of my family is comfortable once we all come in from our day away. I would absolutely call FYI Contracting LLC and for solid service be sure and ask for ASHLEY IN HVAC!!!Came back to post the Post-Site Visit Remarks regarding a visit from tech Mr. Kevin with FYI Contracting LLC-HVAC. So as promised by Ms. Ashley, a gentleman named Kevin came to our house to perform a diagnostic test on our existing system. He was very knowledgeable, reliable, and we found him to be extremely honest! Kevin provided me and my mother with (4) option routes to take regarding our current HVAC system which was nice to have options for. We went with the 2nd best choice to do. Not because it was the least expensive but because we felt comfortable with the WHY factor that Kevin the technician explained to us. Its good to see that companies have employees such as Kevin to fully provide the details of the why my unit is old and after 14 yrs of providing successful service for my home is about to end up doing so that way, we dont get caught again just trying to band aid fix it on one of Houston, Texas hottest days and end up with no ac again. Even though we we are just two women trying to navigate our way through the issue of our unit, Kevin took his time and made sure we fully understood the whole scenario and was not just present to sell a unit. He did not push the sale of it onto us and always told me either way he will perform the service that I decide to do for my home. He was nothing short of amazing and wonderful. A true gentleman and such a breath of fresh air to deal with. Anyone who makes my mother laugh gets a gold star in my books! Hey FYI...Kevin is a keeper!!! First & foremost everyone with FYI Contracting has been amazing! The plumbers Tyler & Jay, Blake & his HVAC crew to the boss Imad have all been outstanding! I’ve had an entire repipe done, complete new HVAC and ducts replaced. My house is older & is a complete remodel so it’s a tedious job. I’m incredibly grateful for their hard work, knowledge, professionalism, cleanliness and communication!! Tyler and his co-partner detected the gas leakage promptly advised me of the situation with clarity, and answered any concerning questions that I had. FYI Contracting is your all in one business for Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical. As a 25 year Army retired veteran I highly recommend this company. We are remodeling a house and so far have had the Plumbing and hvac redone. Tyler and Jay came out and repiped the entire house in a very efficient, proficient and detailed manner. So we decided to use them from HVAC. Blake and his team came out replace the AC, furnace, and a complete reduct. This company is highly efficient and well trained from top to bottom. They are very service oriented and professional. They will stop and answer all questions during the process and even stop to ask permission when something out of there control needs to happen, i.e cutting holes in the walls. With that being said, they leave the place as clean or even cleaner when they are finished. Our next step is to use them for our electrical. Kudos to the owner on having a well oiled team of professionals in all aspects.

Awesome customer service. FYI promptly responded to my service request. I called the request in midday Sat and, because Mon is New Year’s Day, l did not expect service until Tues. Company came out that Sat evening. Repairmen (Brian and James) were extremely polite and professional, yet personable. Repairs were done efficiently. FYI has serviced my home before and each time I have been extremely pleased with the service. I could not ask for better. FYI’s prompt response made my weekend and got my new year off to a very positive start. Again, awesome service. Highly recommended.Update: More excellent service from FYI...this time addressing a leak in the kitchen. Tyler and Brian were extremely polite and professional. Repairs were done efficiently. So glad that my insurance company works with such a quality company as FYI.
