Two things Ive been apprehensive about for a while are visiting the dentist and needing a plumber. Why? Because of some truly awful past experiences. However, Ive finally found a great dentist and a reliable plumber, which feels like a blessing. Just last week, I woke up to find my toilet bubbling like a cauldron whenever I turned on the shower. It was quite a fright, and to make matters worse, flushing and plunging didnt seem to help. Given my past experiences with plumbers, this situation started to stress me out. However, I took a chance and looked up local plumbers in Conroe. The first one that popped up had positive reviews and I decided to give them a try, hoping third times the charm. Sure enough, Ruben called me back early in the morning. After describing my toilet troubles, he diagnosed it as a main pipe blockage. Despite his busy schedule, he managed to squeeze me in between 2-3 pm. They arrived promptly at 2:30 pm and got to work. It took just over an hour for them to remove the toilet, clear the blockage, and the rates were reasonable. But when they took off the toilet, they discovered another issue. The pipe under the house was broken and a different pipe had been improperly used to fix it. Plus, there was no flange. The technician agreed this was far from ideal and I requested it be fixed. I had to schedule another appointment for the repair, which had to be pushed a month out since I needed to save up for it. However, when I mentioned this to Ruben, he insisted it be fixed sooner. I explained my financial situation and he offered to split the payment into two installments. I was astonished and it bolstered my trust in him further. So, the work is scheduled to be done next week and I plan to complete the payment by the end of the month. Sorry for the lengthy post in advance. Jeffery did an excellent job, he pinpointed I had a slab leak on the hot water side before even showing up and gave me advice on what steps to take to still use my hot water for things like showers. He arrived promptly to provide an estimate. A few weeks later, I managed to book a slot on his schedule. His reputation was so good that I didnt feel the need to get more estimates. Tristan, Ruben, and Jeffery were all fantastic, they came in and did what they had to do without causing much disruption to our daily routines, as i work from home and homeschool my children. They cleaned as they went along and despite what seemed like a lot of holes in my house, I dont think they made any unnecessary ones. The inspector came out and commended their work, saying the holes they cut were the cleanest hes ever seen, unlike other companies that just rip up the walls, and he expected to see more holes than what were actually made. My dad, whos in construction, mentioned that hes been in a lot of homes that have been re-piped and the work they did was top-notch. All things considered, theyre a top-notch team. They were all friendly, engaging, and a pleasure to have around given the circumstances. If youre seeking high-quality work, give Jeffery a call. I wish the drywall repair was part of the deal, but now its something else I have to consider. However, I understand that Jeffery excludes it to keep the costs down in case a homeowner wants to handle the repairs themselves. Their hourly rate was $111.00, but I was surprised to find an extra $20 charge for gas. I was initially unhappy about this unexpected expense. The guys, Ruben and Jeffery, did a fantastic job, but I think such additional charges should be disclosed in the ads. I left a message at their office to discuss this matter further. I am hopeful for a satisfactory resolution. The problem was promptly fixed by the owner, which impressed me. I was delighted with the outcome and plan to utilize their plumbing services in the future.
