I needed a company to finish incomplete drywall work that was left by another company. I researched and found this company, read the reviews, and viewed examples of their work, which looked excellent by the way. The technician was very nice, listened to my issue, and gave me a quote based upon the information and pictures I provided them. Honestly, in this economy, I was shocked by how very reasonable his quote was. He scheduled me quickly, came on time, finished early, and left the project looking amazing, like there was never an issue to begin with.*Take a look at my before and after pictures, and youll understand what Im saying.*This is a company with more than fair pricing, schedules you quickly, and completes the work fast. They demonstrate pride in the quality of their work and integrity in their interactions with their customers. This was my first time hiring them, but its definitely not my last, and Ill be recommending them anytime that I can.Thank you again for your help. I was more than happy to write this review for you and for others who may need help making a decision about hiring you.If youre on the fence, jump over it. Theyre absolutely worth it. Really, five stars arent enough.

Hugo is absolutely amazing! He was able to take the vision that I had for our family room and bring it to life. His work is impeccable. Honest, reliable, trustworthy, professional, and most of all; he does everything with the spirit of excellence. My wife came in the house screaming with joy! He is the only person that I will ever call to work on my home. He does it all! His work speaks for itself!

Quick overview: I bought a 2021 house that needed a bit of a facelift everywhere due to after the previous owner did a lot of not so fantastic DIY to it. The day I moved in I called about 5 different handyman places and painters. None of them picked up except for Hugo, and he came the same day to do an estimate for all the work I needed done.My house was Chaos with movers, security system installers plus my family, but Hugo didn’t miss anything I said and sent me an estimate the next day.What I wanted… It was ALOT: fix squeaky doors and sticking doors, rehang two barn doors and put guides on them, install the gym room tv on the wall, repaint the guest bath cabinets, paint the entire downstairs entryways blue, install two lights, paint the DIY screened in patio the previous owner did not complete, paint the kitchen island after I had removed the hideous wallpaper off it, repair 5 other walls in various rooms I ripped peel and stick paper off of and repaint that, hang a garage rack, and shelves in the powder room, remove the wallpaper in the master bedroom and fix the walls, and fix the DIY paint job on the master bath cabinets the previous owner did to name a few. He was here every day for 4 days straight working on my home and he and his partner did a phenomenal job. As the week went on, I kept finding more projects to add (the lights and shelves and garage rack) but there wasn’t anything he said he wouldn’t do! He adjusted the price of course but I was so glad he was a one stop shop to make everything come together so quickly so it could get finished before I started work. Also, he did all this while I was still unpacking boxes and moving in, and the house was still chaos (with stuff instead of people) but he and his partner worked around it.I didn’t have anything to compare it to but I promise you, Hugo’s price is unbeatable. As long as I live in SC/own this home I’ll be calling Creativity Handyman for everything. He is truly an artist and if you aren’t quite sure what you want, he’s willing to tell you what he thinks and that was super helpful when I was indecisive about paint colors and finishing touches. He’ll be back to paint my master once I have a mural installed!Edit 26JUL24: had the team come back and paint my master bedroom black. Bold move, I know, but I really wanted the mural to take focus. Hugo gave me insights about keeping the ceiling a brighter color so I didn’t make the room feel to closed in while still giving the mural focus. and it looks amazing! He also hung curtain rods, a heavy wine rack and installed my new kitchen faucet all in one day. If I could give 10 stars I would!

Hugo and crew were great! In time and did a fantastic job. We had him first install a dishwasher he came the next day and was less expensive then others we called that told us a week. He then had him remove wallpaper that was put on in a room incorrectly. Super fast and great!!

Hugo is definitely the handyman to hire for any home project. I had an outdated kitchen and wanted an upgrade. I shared with Hugo my ideas and he took it from there. Hugo picked out the countertop and flooring. The name of his business fits him right. He did beyond what I could have imagine. I am truly satisfied and will be having Hugo work on other jobs around the house. And, his prices are very reasonable.

Raccoons chewed a hole in the wood at the roofline and moved into my attic. I was at a loss how to evict them and get the hole closed up until my lawn man gave me Hugo’s name. I called. He came right over and gave me a reasonable estimate. He came back and made sure no raccoons were in the attic and he replaced the chewed boards. But he did something creative on his own. He covered the wood with a sheet of metal before painting it. If a raccoon tries to chew a new hole, he’ll break his teeth.Then another castatrophe hit me. A weed eater threw rocks into my sunroom and broke three large panes of glass. That left the house open to intruders both human and wildlife. I called Hugo and he came right over and assessed the damage. Today he came back and knocked out the broken glass and replaced it with wood. He was careful not to damage the window frames where new glass will go. That makes the house secure until new windows can be ordered and installed.Both times Hugo brought everything he needed for the job. He worked quickly but did an excellent job and he left no mess. He has a great work ethic, charges fairly, and is friendly and trustworthy. I’ll definitely use him again.
