Seth and his team were extremely professional. There were some adjustments made during the project that he was able to handle(moving the stairs, repositioning the rails to accommodate a gazebo), which made the final deck project a resounding success. Seth and his crew did an amazing job on my 14’ wide deck stairs. He custom fabricated new railings are out my old ones so they would match the rest of the deck. He also fixed a ten year old sagging issue on my second story deck by adding a new pier and it is so much more appealing and sturdy now.

Seth and his team are amazing. He would check in everyday to ensure both parties are on the same page and made sure we were OK with the work being done. His pricing is very fair and the final product is awesome! He went above and beyond and removed a HUGE rock so the stairs would land on the soft grass. That rock ended up being several hundred pounds! Super nice guy. Very VERY excited to have some parties on the new (bigger!) deck this summer. I would totally recommend his service. 100%. Anyone in the Columbia, Hebron, Andover, Willimantic I would recommend. He was at our house when he said he was going to be there and always left his job site clean and organized...ready for the next day. Cant thank him enough.

I highly recommend Seth for any deck project. When I hire a contractor I care about two things: quality of work and follow through. Seth delivered both at the highest level.We are not design pros so Seth took the time to help us with the design of our deck, giving lots of input on what Trex materials he suggested, sizing, and shape. He was highly responsive throughout a time consuming permit approval process with my town.Seth committed to a start date and finish date, and he delivered. I have friends right now who paid for a deck build before me, and they are still getting their start dates pushed back every week with last minute communication from their contractor. Not Seth- hes highly reliable and cares about doing great work on a timely schedule.Check out our deck pictures below. A dream, right? He did a beautiful job in a space that was not easy to work with and required lots of custom cutting/shaping.Last, but certainly not least, Seth and his team are kind people. They got to know my kids, became my dogs best friends, and were lovely to talk with.Ive already hired Seth for additional carpentry work, and you should too.

Advanced Custom Carpentry was professional, kind and did excellent work. The whole crew was respectful and happy to engage with our kids. They were a great example to them of ethical, diligent work and we felt safe having them at our house. At the beginning of the project (quote time frame) I had expressed the desire to have the deck finished in time for my daughters birthday, and on the day they finished, Seth leaned down to wish my daughter a happy birthday and told her that he was happy they were able to finish in time for daddy to open the pool for her birthday. They went above and beyond to ensure quality work, even when this meant fixing a few out if scope problems. They didn’t cut corners and took the time to ensure the that the job was done right. The final product looks great! 6 stars

It took a while for work to begin, but I chalked that up to the contractor being very busy and in demand, which I understood. Once started, the crew was very quick, professional and polite. I chose a Trex product and am very pleased with it. This was not an inexpensive project, but given the quality of the product and the quality of workmanship, I would not hesitate to recommend Seth and his crew.

Demolition was quick and they removed all retrograde same day. Took care of town permitting and inspections. Workmanship for new footings, support structure, Trex decking and railings was top notch! Each day the workers kept worksite exceptionally clean and tidy. An overall Outstanding experience!
