We are relatively new to the area and didnt have any contacts for some work we needed done by a general contractor. I went on craigslist (which made me a little nervous), and I came across BD Construction & Remodeling. I called and Brian was super nice. He came and gave me a quote and was completely transparent about his schedule and abilities (which is basically everything btw). We had a super tiny space we were turning into a bathroom with a shower, and literally Brian was the only person (besides us) who thought it would be actually possible to fit in. We also had Brian put a small kitchenette in our basement as well, and because we were trying to save money, we bought orphan cabinets from a local hardware store (so they were like mismatched pieces ) and had a wall that wasnt square. Brian seriously was able to adapt to all the weirdness that our old 1860s house brought, and he was kind. I also really appreciate that Brian was adaptable and was able to deal with all the random things that happened along the way. He was also not pushy but gave us honest advice when we would ask, which was very helpful. I am SURE this is not the last time we will have him do projects for us.

Brian recently created a new entry stairway and landing leading to my front door. From the beginning of the process, he was communicative, responsive, and attentive. He took changes and adaptations (sorry about those balusters!!) in stride, while creating a beautiful, incredibly solid structure.The workmanship far outweighed the cost, and he put extra effort and trips in without complaint. I felt very confident about the integrity of his pricing (complete transparency) and dedication to his work product.Brian and his staff were always jovial and took great pride in their craft.Thank you again for making a safe and beautiful new ascent to home in time for Dylans graduation party! Will certainly use your services in the future!

I recently used Brian for a job sealing an exterior door and siding over it, as well as ripping down a poorly installed “screened in porch” over our deck. Tearing down and looking at the previous owners DIY had just become overwhelming. I had a deck that I couldn’t use and hated being in my backyard. Because of Brian’s knowledge and EXCELLENT craftsmanship I was able to open my curtains to the back deck and enjoy my backyard for the first time this morning for the first time in 7 months of living here. He was communicative with his schedule and letting us know of any situations that arose throughout the job, offering us multiple options and being accommodating with what worked for us. I HIGHLY recommend Brian. He was responsive and worked so hard to get the job done because he knew how long I had been waiting. I will definitely use him for future projects! Thank you!
