Chase came by to check on a leak in our furnace room. He was very capable and found the source quickly. He replace two pipes to our water heater and a valve. The work was finished quickly and neatly. He then did some checks and recommended replacing a part in the near future. He is very knowledgeable answered all our questions. We highly recommend B & L plumbing.

Incredible customer service. Despite the unpleasant experience of having a broken and leaking water heater, our experience with B&L in getting it replaced and up & running couldn’t have been better. They were able to send someone out the same morning we called, it was replaced and working that day and passed inspection the next morning. The inspector even had great things to say about their work & reputation as a company. Will definitely be using their services in the future. We really appreciate you guys! Highly recommend!

Called on a Wednesday (New Years Day!) about what we thought was a failing water heater. Team at office were great on the phone. They had a truck out, with a replacement water heater by Friday. Chase, the plumber discovered it was another issue and fixed the issues in less than an hour. Chase was very polite and told us clearly what was needed and we feel very fairly treated. We have used B&L over the years (they did original plumbing in the house) and always satisfied with the price and results. Found they now do HVAC and will use them in future.

Great experience from start to finish. I got an immediate response to my inquiry for service and had a technician at my house the next morning at 8– and it was a Monday morning. Kevin was efficient and took the time to explain everything to me, including the price for different options. He also very kindly answered a few other general plumbing questions, like showing me how to shut off the water in an emergency and how to drain the outside lines for winter. He finished up the work and was in and out in less than 2 hours. I highly recommend this business.

We needed a leaking outside faucet fixed. B&L Plumbing had someone available the same day I called. They came and gave me an estimate and got my approval before they did anything. They had to take a little drywall out of a basement bedroom ceiling to get to the pipes to see if it could be fixed or not. It turns out we needed to replace the faucet so they gave me the estimate on that also before doing anything else. I gave them the ok to replace it. They did it quickly and professionally. I was happy with their work and would recommend them. The only thing they don’t do is to repair the drywall they had to take out and they told me that ahead of time when they gave me the estimate.

Called B&L Monday morning for an electric water heater replacement. They were able to schedule me in the next day between 8am - 10am. They arrived first thing at 8am, assessed the situation then ran to their warehouse to pick up the proper water heater for replacement. They got right to work when they returned. They were professional and did a great job and finished up around 12pm.My only surprise was the sticker shock of $2,650 they billed me for the service. There was no itemized receipt for any of the charges. I can only guess around $1,400 for labor and $1,000 for the water heater. I dont know. B&L wont disclose that information to customers.If youre on a tight budget, shopping for a lower price might save you $700 or $800 dollars or more,Hopefully this new water heater will last 18 years like the old one they replaced.

I’ve used B&L plumbing for years and have never had a bad experience with them. Of course every time I call them I have a huge lump in my throat of what the damage/cost could be especially involving water. Every time they go over what could be the worst case scenario and obviously the best case. They have never over sold an issue nor have they subsequently tried to up sale services. They go everything thoroughly and make you feel as if you’re in control of the decision. Kevin, who’s worked on a few issues I’ve had, is amazing. First of all the quoting process was a breeze and very professional and friendly. B&L has the ability to attract some of the best and nicest people in their industry. From the office staff to the file people as well. We took on a basement build project. Our first challenge is all the bathroom plumbing was in the wrong place for our design. B&L took the design a relocated the drain system and reclaimed the slab. They did a great job of this and at a very fair price. Once framed and roughed in. We had some other challenges in that some of the cabinets required that some of the rough-ins needed to be moved. Without hesitation the came out and moved those. At every step they were so accommodating that it was a pleasure to work with them and compelled me to give them a 5 star review.

I think they should have been able to either provide a rough estimate or hourly rate, but they did neither. The total cost of the faucet installation was $305 despite it taking less than one hour. I was expecting to pay $150 or at most $200. According to HomeAdvisor and several other sites, it should have cost $120 - $300 so B&L does good work but is on the high side.

They sent a truly decent and honest rep who told me there was no gas going to my appliances and referred me to the gas company. Black Hills. Maintenance and upgrade of my meter was responsible for the outage but they had failed to advise me. Black Hills called me back immediately and send me a refund for the service call from B & L Plumbing. I just email them the receipt. I got the check in 3 days. Integrity and honesty, along with willingness to own their mistake has earned my trust in Black Hills...and B & Ls honesty was refreshing. I would recommend both. However, A & A will never get my business.

The first time I used my new clothes washer in the house I had just purchased, the kitchen and laundry flooded! This caused my downstairs bathroom sewer to back up too! It was a disheartening nightmare, but David arrived promptly, cleaned my outside sewer line, and stayed for a couple more hours to unclog the internal line between the kitchen and laundry room. He was awesome! His courteous and competent service made a bad situation seem less stressful. After the water restoration team set up blowers for the entire weekend, my pilot light went out on my water heater. I requested David and once again he worked for a couple hours, attempting to restore hot water to me, to no avail. The next day he replaced my water heater. David answered my many questions and kept the level of stress down with his calm and helpful nature. Again, he worked diligently to restore hot water to my home, and the past two days it felt wonderful to take a hot bath and shower. I asked David to give my inspection report to Dan, who took the time to come over and explain the most efficient way to insure no further problems with the sewer in my home. After receiving two other estimates, Im going to schedule with Dan to replace my sewer line in June. I would gladly recommend B and L Plumbing, David, and Dan to anyone who has sewer/flooding issues in their home. Id offer more than 5 stars if that were possible! Unfortunately, We have had the need for plumbing A LOT, since we bought our home. We have always relied on B&L for our repairs. Every single plumber that they have sent has been extremely knowledgeable, efficient, well mannered, clean, and given exceptional service. Another plus, they always give a fair price. They let you know what options, if any, and what the most cost effective repair would be without cutting corners to save. They have never tried to upsale or push unnecessary repairs. B&L Plumbing and Heating have been wonderful. Tom G showed up first thing Monday morning, after we discovered a leak under our house on Sunday evening and was able to have our water back on in less than an hour from the time he started the work. My husband, since buying the house around 30 years ago, has steadily replaced about half of all the plumbing pipes in our house because when the house was build just a few years before he bought it, they used trailer home pipes in the entire house. This was illegal and there was a lawsuit, but he did not find out about it until a year after the deadline for them to cover a full replacement of the plumbing, so we decided it was time to get an estimate on what it would cost to have it done. Tom G was able to provide that estimate very quickly and it seemed very reasonable to us, as he seems to be repairing a leak every couple months as it has been. We then scheduled Tom and his partner, Shane, to come back on Wednesday, at which time they completely replaced the water lines in the entire house, with new shower boxes, a washer box, new meter gauge, and everything the inspector will look for when he comes to inspect the project.Tom and Shane were both very polite, professional, and knowledgeable. They were able to make the repairs and replace the lines in a very reasonable amount of time, as well as they helped us out on a couple extra little things like moving one of our outside spouts that was originally located in a very inconvenient area to a much realistic location. They wanted to go the extra mile for us, just to make sure their job done was above and beyond what we expected. We sure do appreciate their willingness to serve us, as their customers, but also how they kept things nice and clean and kept drywall removal to a very minimal amount.Thanks you, B&L for a job well done, but most of all for great employees we could trust leaving in our home while we had to be away who were very professional and honest guys.

He displayed his high level of domain knowledge by explaining the work he was going to do, thermal expansion properties of a hot water heater, sewage gas risks, current code and regulatory information, etc. Kevin was also respectful to our home by cleaning up completely after his work was finished, and wearing shoe/boot protectors when walking on our carpet. On top of all of that, he was also very friendly and personable too... which of course isnt a requirement for a skilled professional like a plumber, but it was really refreshing. Again, Kevin was beyond great and I hope this review gets back to him.You know when you receive such great service from an organization that you are actually willing and motivated to write a positive Google review? It was our first time to use B&L Plumbing. They were not booked up like everyone else and came to the house quickly. Was told they have plumbers that handle just emergencies. Love that they can take care of immediate problems quickly rather than focusing only on large jobs leaving us to handle emergencies at their convenience. Jeremy came out and was very knowledgeable and the repair done quickly and best of all, B&L did not overcharged....Yeah!!!! Love these guys. Will call them from now on.

Called them to install an irrigation stem out. They set an appointment for the next morning. The next morning, Shane called prior to arriving to inform me he was on his way. He was very professional, did a great job and explained everything he was doing. He left my property in great shape, cleaned up his mess and put everything back in place. Before staring he wrote up an estimate and explained all costs associated. Upon completion the final invoice did not exceed the estimate. B&L was a pleasure to work with. I will call again for my future plumbing needs.

I have called on B&L Plumbing in the past and have never been disappointed in their service. Today, Kevin arrived on time to locate and repair a water leak in the ceiling of my basement. He was so professional, caring and explained the entire process needed for repair. Before he left, he cleaned up the area and gave me the name/number to Executive Pro-Dry water removal to further assist me. Kevin then called them for me and they arrived 45 mins. later. Called on a Sunday to have someone out the next day and snake the drain in my kitchen. Lady on the phone was courteous and set me up for am 8-10AM window. Kevin called around 7:50 that he was en route, quoted me, and got the job done by 9. All told, the road fee, drain snake, and $25 first time discount brought the total to $246. I would consider this a tad pricey, however Kevin was professional, left my house exactly the way he found it, and showed up at the beginning of my window which I always appreciate. I am very pleased, and have never been more happy to be able to wash my dishes.

My water heater pilot light went out and would not relight on Thursday night. John from B&L Plumbing came out Friday morning and was AWESOME. He wasnt able to repair the water heater (bad gas valve) but he tried everything possible and was extremely helpful. I ended up deciding to replace the heater over the weekend and he volunteered to come by and do it on Saturday. Im extremely grateful and would definitely use B&L Plumbing (and request John) again. Highly recommend.
