I called JBG because out hot water heater stopped working. Within a few hours they came out and inspected my system. They re-lit the pilot light, and discussed the possibilities as to why it went out. They were very courteous and informative. I would highly recommend JBG for your plumbing needs.

Drove through a parking garage today with tight clearance and hit a pipe screw hanging low. EJ showed up and fixed the pipe within just a few minutes and helped me get the last screw that was wedges between two pieces of frayed metal on a rack on the roof of my car that was damaged. Was a great help and had a positive attitude! This man deserves a promotion!

Our tub/shower drain was stupidly clogged and we could not get it draining on our own. They had someone come out the same day I called. It took him well over an hour to finally figure out and fix the issue, but he did it. He was also very tolerant of our kids who kept ending up in his way as he was trying to move equipment up and down the hallway.

Another great service from a great company! Kristy is always kind and efficient, Dylan and Tyler are both very knowledgeable and quick with repairs. They both have provided great explanations with pricing and the repairs needed. It seems our house has had issue after issue this year and JBG has been so helpful every time. If you haven’t signed up for their subscription service, you should consider it. It has saved us so much money!

I had 25 employees at my store without a bathroom to use for a number of hours until I contacted JBG Plumbing. I didn’t even request emergency services and still I had Tyler out within an hour ready to make the repair. He went over it with me gave me some advice and was friendly and I could tell right away this would be a great expereince. The customer service was top notch! After realizing it needed to be replaced, Brandon went over all of my options for a new heater as well as verifying it would be up to city codes. He installed the new gas wall heater and double-checked to make sure it was working properly and safely in less than 1 hour! That is some awesome service!!

I own a home and a 4 plex in College Station. Im not sure if JBG Plumbing is the cheapest, but they are still my go-to guys when I need something fixed. Their guys show up on time, give me an honest assessment, and fix the problem quickly.Just this morning their guy Tyler Garrett showed up to fix a leak. He mentioned my leak mightve occurred because of high water pressure and that I might benefit from pressure regulation valve. After he tested my water pressure, he backed off that suggestion because my water pressure was within the acceptable range. He couldve kept pressing on the pressure valve to upsell me, but he didnt and I appreciate that. He showed up minutes early, was friendly, fixed my problem, and didnt try to upsell me.JBG, hire more guys like him. Thats what keeps me using yall.If you havent tried JBG, give them a call.

I had been without a working stove for two weeks, thanks to an install-gone-bad by the delivery company. JBG responded quickly with a phone call, after I made an appointment online, making sure I got the correct tech for the job and an early appointment time. The tech arrived on time and courteously worked in my home while I had two other contractors at my home doing other jobs. He showed me the problem the original installer had, told me how he planned to fix it, and what he would need- then went out and bought the part immediately so that I could get my stove in working order. I was finally able to cook for my family again that evening! He was very efficient and I have had zero problems with my gas line or stove since! I will definitely be calling JBG the next time I need a plumber, and I’ll be recommending them to friends & family. Thanks JBG!

We had a very wobbly toilet that we worried would leak or topple over. Called JBG plumbing and despite it being just before Christmas, Colby came out that day. He was friendly and professional, explained what the problem was likely to be, and checked everything thoroughly. We appreciate that he looked to see if a simple (and less expensive) fix was possible first. Unfortunately it wasnt, but weve had the toilet for 30 years so I wasnt surprised. He replaced the seal, made sure the toilet was screwed down tight, and left the area clean and tidy. 100% recommend Colby and JBG!

He then presented the repair options and, considering the fact some water remediation may be required in the adjacent hallway, he was knowledgable of that process so gave me scheduling options that would accommodate both issues. I appreciate the professionalism and the fair price!

JBG Plumbing came to fix our clogged kitchen sink. They tried a few things to fix the issue but after 2 visits it was still having problems. I was frustrated and when I called to speak to them about it they were so nice and responsive. They sent Jarrett out the next day and he was able to completely fix the clog at no extra charge. Jarrett was very professional and helpful. They handled it so well I would definitely recommend and reuse them again in the future.

Very impressed with the young man that came to the house. He installed three faucets, added some flex lines, checked And adjusted the water heater in the attic and was finished in about two hours for a very reasonable price. After the latest freeze all the plumbers in the Brazos Valley were booked solid taking care of frozen pipes. I finally contacted JBG worried whether I would be able to get ANYONE to help me. Fortunately, they worked me in within 3 days. They arrived promptly in the two hour window we had set for the appointment. My assigned plumber was kind and courteous and ready for work. I showed him my problem and he went right after it. In less than two hours he was finished. I was pleasantly surprised at the invoice. It was significantly lower than I anticipated. All in all, a good experience. I highly recommend these folks to one and all.

Brad and his team were great to work with. We had JBG out to the house to explain options that we had for replacing both our 13 year old hot water heaters. We had considered a tankless before but thought it too expensive and the required venting a problem. Brad was able to explain how we could replace both heaters with one tankless. The cost ended up being about the same but now we could have unlimited hot water and save a few dollars on propane. The project didn’t go without a few problems but the way Brad and his team handled them that was great. We had a filter issue that ended up being a defective housing for the filter. Brad worked with the manufacturer until they got it straightened out. We never did without hot water though. We had an issue with the roof venting leaking just a few drips each rainstorm. Brad had someone from his team out here to work with the roofers to get it fixed. JBG is our go to plumbers from now on. I cannot speak highly enough about Tyler! We had an emergency at our rental house in the middle of the night. Tyler reached out to me at about 3 o’clock in the morning and had the greatest attitude. I was exhausted and stressed and he was calm and happy as if he’d had a full nights sleep and was starting his day off. He went out and checked the situation, went back to his shop for the tools he needed and cleared out all pipes so that our renters could wake up and use the water in the house. Highly recommend JBG. 10 minutes before 5pm and they were the only company to answer out of 5 others. They got us scheduled for the next day and we had Bryston as our plumber. Highly highly recommend having Bryston come out! Not only was he friendly, personable, professional, and efficient. He was thorough in explaining all that was going on and what our options are being that we have an older house and the normal easy fix wasnt possible. Regardless of the easy fix not being an option, Bryston found a solution and was done within an hour. Couldnt say enough good things about him and JBG.

JBG Plumbing did a superb job! I came home to a flood yesterday. The issue turned out to be a leak in the expansion tank. They were fast! I had hot water again within a few hours and Jason was so helpful. He told me to call the insurance company and have them help me with the restoration. I had water everywhere. The insurance company had the water remediation people out last night and assessor will be out later this morning. Had it not been for Jasons advice at JBG plumbing, I might still be sitting in a pools of water.

This plumber is awesome! My kitchen sink stopped draining last night and I needed a plumber ASAP to get my kitchen functional again. My regular plumber couldn’t come until TOMORROW afternoon (can you go a day and a half with no kitchen sink?!) so I started calling around for someone who could help me sooner. I called JBG at 8:30 a.m. and they were here by 10:20. They sent a text to inform me they were on the way.The technician was very professional and gave me a quote before starting the job so I knew exactly what I could except to pay. He finished the job fast and explained exactly what the problem had been and what he had done to fix it. I am confident I won’t have any more trouble. I got a follow up email with an invoice and description of the work that was done.I am very happy and will be making this my regular plumber!

We paid 1/2 down before the project ($2,875.00). I had told them that the trailer had a mold issue due to water leak and we needed to see how bad and might need to cancel job and get rid of mold first. They reassured us that we could call the morning of, to cancel job and get a refund. We were coming from out of town and as soon as we got to trailer home we called and let them know that we had to cancel their guys. The mold was out of control and didn’t want to put their guys at risk. I talked to their manager and he said that they would begin process of the refund for $2,875.00.I got the refund and they even called to make sure of the address to send it too since the service address was different from where we actually live. Thank you JBG Plumbing for being a company of your word.

Called at around 9 a.m., had somebody out same day within a couple of hours. Was very professional, found the the cause of the leak and had the repair done very efficiently. Left the hole uncovered to dry out and came next morning to check for stability and re-cover everything, and did a really good job of cleaning up what he could around the area where the dirt had made a mess. They found and repaired a gas leak that even the gas company technician could not find, and also ran a new gas line for me to a pool heater. On the plumbing side, I’ve had them repair a faucet, replace shower valves and install a new tankless water heater. Their response time is great, and their technicians have all been prompt, pleasant and professional. Second time we have used this company.GREAT SERVICES! Upfront, honest and fair pricing! Jason found our clean out pipe! He jetted our main drain clean and camera inspected our pipes inside our house and out to the street to figure out our issues. Apparently our pipes are very clean for being cast iron, and not the issue. The issue is when we connect to the city. The city pipe joints are busted and have giant balls of roots in them. Causing dirt to back flow in to our line, and stopping up any TP that we flush. So we were advised to call the city and have them come fix their pipes. All and all our issues were fixed and now its a city issue. Jason also installed a new shower valve in our guest bath to restore the hot water pressure. He was very aware of the cleanliness of his work area, saying he would workout the issues inside our home, before getting dirty digging in the yard and tracking it inside. Quality of work is excellent, cost of work was superb. The tech who came out was so patient with us and answered all of the questions we had. There were another few gentlemen who came to help out as well. Everyone was so professional and kind. Thank you so much for helping us, we couldnt be happier. 100% recommend this plumbing company!

Called JBG plumbing to unclog the air conditioning drain line in my rental duplex. While he was there I had him run the tool down the drain line at both residents. He unclogged the drain no problem. He did however forget to put the drain line from the air handler back into the main drain line. Everyone is human and mistakes can happen, but that is just getting into a hurry and not double checking your work. Overall it was a good experience and I would use them again.

We were stood up by another plumber from Bryan on a Saturday morning after waiting for him to come do the repairs all week. I was very frustrated as I havent had a washer to use in a week. So, I got on Facebook and posted in the BCS buy sale pages that I was looking for a plumber. The owner of the company, responded to me and even sent me pictures of their work. I also was comforted by reading the reviews on the webpage and other people recommending them as well. We have terrible luck getting people that know their trades these days. Well, I was blessed by this company for sure!!!! I decided under the circumstances to not wait any longer and to pay the weekend fees versus waiting. It was worth it to me to not have to take off work in order to tend to this situation. Joseph was our on call plumber and he did an OUTSTANDING job! The owner was described our issue over FB conversations and he prepared him with that news so he brought over everything he needed to get us completely fixed. There were 2 other people telling us our pipes in our 1970 home had collapsed. When I told Mr. John Bradley Gause (the owner) what the others had said, he told me I think you may have been misdiagnosed. Sure enough, he was correct and it saved us $$$$$$$$$ not having to re do pipes that werent messed up. They were just clogged. Not only did Joseph get us flowing properly he had to fix some pipes that the other plumber had cut off. I will only use this company from here on out for any other plumbing issues. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND and I am a super picky OCD customer who wants things done right and I am on a teacher budget!

Michael called fifteen minutes before arriving. He was professional in appearance. He went right to work on replacing the under the sink hot water dispenser. We had unplugged it the night before so the water would be cooled down.First he turned off the water. He had the old one down and new one on in about twenty minutes. He primed the dispenser, filling it with water. He plugged it in, adjusted the temperature to the same level as before. He tested it to be sure it was hot and water came out.I had a toilet that would “refill” about every six to eight hours. I presumed it had been leaking from the tank flapper. He loosened the chain saying he thought the flapper was not seating properly. He took a picture of the “guts” of the toilet. He said if the problem continued to give him a call. With the picture he would know what parts he would need to replace the parts. I thought that was a good idea. The bill was fair enough. I have a home warranty that I pay $75 if I get a service call. This dispenser was not eligible, but what he charged was close to that charge, so I thought that was very fair.I used JBG on other occasions. One time I had a leak that soaked my carpet in the living room. A contractor and another home repair guy could not find the leak. One guy even made a hole in the ceiling thinking it was from up there. This company guy came in, and mopped up an area and watched it sweep out. He turned the water off and it stopped. (It was raining outside so that eliminated rain). He looked on the other side of my wall and said, there is water in the kitchen, that must be the source. No water under the sink. He looked at my new dishwasher and asked if it had been added recently. Yes. Pulled it out and the copper line had been re-used by the contractor. It had broke.

Overall, work done was good but customer service was lacking due to poor communication and lack of urgency. Hired to fix gas leaks detected in my attic. Ended up replumbing almost the entire gas line system, including yard line and almost all interior lines. Total estimated and final cost of $2400 for 14 hours billed hours + parts.Quality of work is good. Didnt throw in any extra care work or nice-to-haves, though. Timeliness could use improvement; ~14-18 hours onsite work spanned over 3.5 days while my family had no hot water or heating in winter weather. When the young man was there working, he worked fast! But, I never knew when hed show up to work, it was inconsistent and scattered. Communication was poor; estimated job duration and arrival/departure times were mostly not communicated. No explanation about work being done and progress was offered for the most part, only when asked or when it required I agree to paying more money.The young man tested for leaks (~3-4 hrs) and, initially, replaced the main gas line going from the meter into the house (~3-4 hrs). This required tearing a hole in the inside wall of my house (~1.5 x 1.5), which was a shocking discovery to walk in my daughters room to - No heads up given for that one (they dont repair the hole afterwards). Next, after testing the inside pipes for leaks, patching/sealing suspected leaks, and attempting to source all remaining leaks (~4 hrs), he recommended replacement of all interior pipes, except for the riser (which runs up inside the wall, connecting the main yard line to the interior pipes) and the pipes inside the brick fireplace, both of which were determined to not be leaking (~5-6 hrs). The company arranged for inspection and provided a CO2 detector (but didnt install).Im happy with a job well done, but it was a pretty poor customer experience as it was happening. I only know about most of the job details after speaking on the phone with a superior after the job was completed.I would recommend this company to those who want a job well done but dont care to be bothered with details while the job is being done or for those with non-emergent plumbing needs.
