    Last time I used a plumber was when I had installed a basement laundry sink and pump in 2011. The laundry sink pump started to fail beginning of Jan 2023. I purchased a similar pump replacement and decided it would be best to have a plumber install the new one… the plumber I used long time ago was no longer in business ( or perhaps retired), good thing I found Monroe home solution just a mile from my home via google search. Spoke to a rep and they were able to come out quickly to installed, turned out more involved, pipes had to be replaced and inlet and venting had to change due to new pump layout…and was done nicely in 2.5hrs, plumber Brendan did a nice professional job, and kept the area clean. Overall great job!

    Keith was absolutely fantastic! Answered all my questions, got my new water heater installed quite quickly and cleaned up to the point that pretty much all I have to do is wash the towels I used to soak up sooooo much water !     I called Monroe Home Services at 9:00am this morning to get estimates for toilet flange replacement I broke below floor surface. Monroe came at approximately 10:00am quoted and replaced flange before noon. Monroe techs were professional and courteous, I will definitely use them in the future.

    Amazing service! We had a cast iron pipe that had cracked a few feet from the upstairs bathroom down into the basement and had it replaced in a few hours with a pvc pipe. Very satisfied with the quick and professional work that was done.

    We had a leak under the sink. Patrick was able to come out and diagnose the problem. He replaced our faucet quickly and cleanly. While he was here, I mentioned that the 2nd floor air conditioner was not working - he took a look, fixed something with the circuit and the air conditioner works now. He is very professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant. I am planning on using them for any and all problems that might crop up in the future.

    I had a great experience today with Monroe. I called them about a mysterious leak in the basement. They diagnosed the issue very quickly, which was a leaky water heater. I had a new water heater replaced in 1.5 hours. The price was very fair. I will definitely be using them again for my HVAC and plumbing needs.

    After the recent heavy rains we decided it may be good to have our sump cleaned and restored. Monroe Home Solutions sent two men to examine our sump, house is over 60 years old. Plumber came examined and saw no issues that needed fixed. Checked the pump, the hole, excellent exam, and then charged us nothing.     I contacted Monroe Home Solutions to come out and do a systems check on a HVAC system that I purchased from them 6 months ago. All systems were checked and a faulty circuit board was found. The repair parts and labor were completely covered by warranty and all was resolved in a timely manner by Adam. Adam, who did the original install and now the repair was terrific. This guy is Aces!

    Had a main sewer line plugged in basement and couldnt use washer. Plumbers were great and kept at the problem until it was finally resolved and we can use our washing.machine and finally take showers with out water spilling everywhere. The only real complaint that I have is that I was charged quite a bit for the service. A little higher than other quotes I rec but stuck with munroe because of the ratings. Its was also a holiday and was glad they showed up so Im satisfied with the service I received. I would call them again.

    I was in need of someone to repair my Voltex Heat Pump Water Tank. From the moment I called Monroe they were responsive, honest and willing to help resolve the issue. They didnt try to convince me to buy a new tank without first diagnosing my problems. They were there the next day and Adam was great and spent a fair amount of time resolving the error message I was getting.     We had Monroe out a month ago to take care of a few plumbing issues. One of our shower drains was leaking and JT did some repairs. The shower is in our college age childrens room so it hadnt been used since winter break. Presidents day weekend they were home and used shower and I noticed the drain was leaking again.I called Monroe and scheduled an appointment. JT arrived during the scheduled time, thoroughly investigated the issue and came up with a proper repair. He tested the shower floor to be certain the repair was correct. The sub floor of the shower would flex under the weight of occupant creating a space against floor drain. JT supported the floor of shower to create a solid base which had not flex or movement that in turn stopped the leak.Monroe proved once again that they provide high quality service and are very reasonable and responsible.I would highly recommend.

    Replace sump pump for downstairs bathroom. Response time was great. Called and the following day they came and replaced it. It took them a week to provide an invoice.23/09/12 this is the second visit due to floater being stuck and sump pump not turning on. I called two days ago and someone came this morning to fixed the issue. I’m hoping that this doesn’t keep happen. I’m happy that someone came and addressed the problem. The service being good and no addition charge.

    They did a fantastic job with my new furnace install. Super fast to respond and came on a Saturday to do the job. They showed up at 7:30 am on time and were completed by 1pm That included the removal of the old furnace. They were neat & professional. They actually left the basement and patio area cleaner than when they arrived. They were informative and took time to answer all our questions.     I called yesterday to see if they would be able to install a garbage disposal for me. Amazingly enough they were able to schedule me for the next day. JT came out to install the garage disposal. He was great!!! Very personable, very efficient, and very clean. I expected to have a mess to clean up behind him. Nope... He left it as clean as he found it!

    Plumber came out after I called complaining about the first appointment regarding a leak from my upstairs bathroom to my basement. I was obviously displeased but they came right back within a half day and heard me out. The plumber admitted he overlooked something based on what he was informed which was my wife pointing him slightly in the wrong direction. So it was just a miscommunication. They discovered a broken seal in the bathtub drain and immediately fixed it. There was no charge for my second visit and I am thoroughly pleased with the service and results. I would definitely recommend this business and use them again!

    I reached out for a dishwasher installation and was greeted by the owner. Very friendly, and punctual. I added a couple of ball valves to be installed off the mains and he was happy to accommodate the request.Only minor drawback was the additional cost. $300 for dishwasher installation, which I thought was a fair price, adding three ball valves almost doubled the job ($562 total).Overall satisfied customer and wouldn’t hesitate to call him again, especially in an emergency situation. He was very respectful, responsive and - in this market - fairly priced accordingly.

    Had a service call on a LAARS Mascot II instant on gas boiler for heating and hot water. It is a complicated beast. The technician followed a logical path and was able to figure out why the unit was not starting. The limit switch issue was resolved without a return visit. I was relieved and happy.

    Unbelievable customer service! Called with an emergency on my water heater, we had someone out in a couple hours!! After the tech called and found out the heater was no longer in warranty, we decided to go with a new one. Because of the size of tank for my condo we had to special order the tank which was delivered overnight. All in all I was only out of water for about two days! Monroe is now my contractor on call, and we already set up regular system cleanings! We appreciated the explanations and options that were given to complete the job. **A must have contact in your phone!!**

    Had an emergency with an outdoor faucet (sillcock) that was gushing water and the inside shutoff wasnt working. Had to shut off the water in the house. Called Monroe and they came within a few hours, replaced the sillcock, and installed a new shutoff in about 30 minutes or so. Very pleased with their response and professionalism. Will use them again.

    My AC was not going below 80F. After he looked at it he immediately noticed that it didn’t have enough refrigerant in it, so he told me my system might be leaking but was not able to seal it at this time because he didn’t have the equipment to do so but said could refill my system. After refilled my system the AC worked great! Overall The guy was good and knew what he was doing; however, I wished he could have fixed my leak instead of having to come back bc I just spent almost $600 to have system refilled and he indicated that it will cost me another $600 - $700 to the system sealed plus refill.

    House trap replacement in a crawl space, cut out cast iron pipes and replace with PVC. The guys did a nice job but we werent able to get at root of the problem as I was told they would need a longer snake than what they had and a camera to see where the blockage outside the house was. So if you need the drain scoped out with a camera you might want to go with rotor rooter for that kind of work. Hopefully this helps someone with the same kind of bind.
