Absolute ARTIST with the plumbing. Dealing with plumbing companies in this area has always left a bad taste in my mouth. I Never got up front pricing, always priced by “the job”, which was a fancy way of saying whatever number they thought of in their head at the time.Jed is 100% different from every single plumber I’ve ever used before. He’s super educated, proficient in ‘sweating/soldering-copper, pro-press, pex-A, etc.The guy is extremely organized and very proficient. He advised me on a couple various plumbing solutions that would be best for an all in one custom in ceiling shower system. This guy was a rockstar.We finally got the job done right. The first time. First true, professional plumber I’ve ever dealt with. Quick and organized.As someone with strong faith values, he prides himself on having honorable principles and fair pricing. I would promise you that if you’re looking for a plumber - this is the guy for the job.

So glad I found this company. I needed my kitchen faucet removed and have a new one installed. I called on Sunday and they arrived early Monday morning. Great service! Jed, from Stars and Pipes responded quickly to my request to repair a leaking tub faucet and to install a conduit on an electrical cord for my water heater.He replaced the cartridge to the faucet and brought my water heater up to code.He was knowledgeable amd honest and explained what he was doing as he worked. First Review:Learn from my mistake. Dont waste your time with another plumbing company like I did. I first went with another company that also had 5 stars. It started out good, then went bad. I told the previous company there was another leak after they supposedly finished the job. They came back out, left a big hole open under my manufactured home when I was at work and never followed up or fixed anything. I contacted Stars and Pipes. Jed came out the next day, fixed multiple leaks, found the source of leaks two previous plumbing companies had no idea about, and charged me a great price for the work he did. It was very obvious Jed knew what he was doing. He was not confused about where the leaks were coming from or about what needed to be done, like the previous plumbers. After this experience, I would not waste my time with any other plumbers in Clearwater. Stars and Pipes is the only plumbing company in Clearwater I have seen who really knows what they are doing. No confusion, no bs, no rip off prices. They do a very good job at a very good price.Second review:I had another plumbing issue, separate from the first one. Jed came out again. This time it was the kitchen sink backed up and garbage disposal stopped working. I could not believe how fast he fixed it. In less time than the previous two plumbers could have even started to look at the issue, Jed was already done. I assumed he just cleared the pipe, at most, in the minutes he worked on it. Nope. He fixed the backup and garbage disposal in only minutes. Unreal. I have never seen such a skilled, efficient and respectful plumber in my life. Going with anyone else in Tampa or Pinellas County is a mistake I wont make again.

The Pilot Light on my water heater went out and we didn’t notice until late in the evening on a Saturday. Probably around 8:30. All of our plumbing friends were unavailable and all the companies we called were charging a ridiculous amount for an after hour service call. Then I called Stars and Pipes. We got lucky as the service man, Jed was on his way home and we were on his way. He was quick and efficient. He serviced the water heater, cleaned the burner assembly and got the Pilot Light lit. He was a life saver. After collecting payment, he thanked us for calling him and asked if he could pray for us. Will absolutely use him again and recommend him to others.

My main line drain backed up on a Saturday at 9pm, called at 930, showed up as planned at 1100 am Sunday morning. Very professional, laid down runners to protect floors and stairs. Jed was very professional and listened to what I was hoping to get done. Cleaned my main line in a little over an hour. Also installed a new clean out as mine was at too sharp of an angle to get the proper cutter down. Cleaned up after the job was done which the last service I had didnt. I recently sold my 130yo W7th home and wanted to give a little PSA/shout out. One of the contingencies of selling was to clear tree roots out of my main line, a problem I didn’t even know I had. I searched and searched and got one outrageous bid after another to snake and scope my main. Somehow, I came across Jed at Stars and Pipes. He gave me a bid at less than half the price of others and acted more friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive than all. The guy was a pro at an amateurs price. In this world, it’s rare to find someone so fair.I wholeheartedly endorse this guy and his company. Give him a look if you think you have any drainage problems.

After just a few minutes he was able to determine that it just need a new thermocouple and the burner cleaned. And he gave me a great price to repair it. Professional service and excellent results! Jed did a fantastic job with clearing out a couple of pretty bad drains in our home. Roto-Rooter had done it previously and the results were not even comparable to the work done by Stars and Pipes. The communication was also excellent; I literally received a call within 10 minutes of putting in a quote request on Home Advisor - on a Saturday night nonetheless!! Ill definitely be reaching out to Stars and Pipes every time I need assistance with drain issues.12/14/18 Update: I reached out to Stars and Pipes again and had another excellent experience. Thanks to Jed for coming out and doing a camera inspection. He did a great job explaining the process and showed me what he saw. Basically we saw NOTHING but clean pipes! No sign of roots or any cracks! Yeah!! I highly recommend have Jed come out and take a look for a peace of mind. We’ve never had our line inspected before & after hearing horror stories of others being unfortunate - now we know what we’re dealing with. If you’ve never had it done I’d recommend it so you have no surprises. Jed is definitely honest!
