Jack was great! I had a new roof, new gutters & downspouts, done by JL Contractor Services. The roofing crew was quick, conscientious, and did a very thorough job in their clean up. The gutters & downspouts guys were real craftsmen. They were meticulous and took their time to make sure that every cut, attachment, and seam was done with pride. All the work was great. I highly recommend JL Contractor Services.

JL Contractors just rebuilt my concrete stairs. They look great! The workers were polite and very respectful of property. They finished work in only 2 days. This is the third job theyve done for me. They previously replaced my roof and gutters and prior to that did some chimney repair for me. All very good quality work. The owner Jack is always very responsive to calls and emails. They are my go to contractors now and I highly recommend them.

Im blown away with the project Jack and his team completed for us. I gathered around 10 proposals over 2 years for the work needed on our house. Of all the contractors we interviewed, I was most impressed with Jack and appreciated his perfectionist eye for detail. He was incredibly thorough and in his proposal provided a detailed project cost. Jack was transparent in the costs of additional work he thought may be needed once they pulled back the roofing material and exposed our badly disintegrating brick (from 1895!). There were no surprise costs or delays during the project. JL replaced the top 2 of brick around the perimeter of our house, they rebuilt our chimney, and replaced our entire roof and gutters. These guys are highly skilled and experienced. They run a clean job site and I loved that they swept the sidewalk and street near the dumpster before leaving each day. I cant say enough great things about our experience with JL Contractor Services and look forward to future projects with them.

Ive used JL Contractor Services for 2 major projects, chimney and tuckpointing as well as a new roof. Both times the work was completed right on time, and was an excellent job. Jacks employees do a super job, and clean up after the project. Its easy to communicate with Jack and his prices are very fair. Great company!

JL contractor services just completed a 3rd project at my home. 13 replacement windows by 2 guys in 2 and1/2 days. This company does top quality work at prices that are very reasonable. Like the 1st 2 jobs the guys arrived on time were neat cleaned everything up and did a great job. The windows and trim work inside and out look beautiful, tilt in for easy cleaning, and I know will add to the warmth of the house in winter.

Jack and his team did a great job replacing the concrete sidewalk next to our house. Our old sidewalk constantly flooded, so he engineered the new sidewalk so it was angled properly, and also installed new concrete next to the sidewalk, against our neighbors house. His crew was efficient, friendly, and responsive. I heartily recommend him.

So now, when we needed a new slab in the backyard, we naturally went with them again.Again, they did an awesome work with this new slab. Finding a reputable roofer out of thousands can be overwhelming. I selected Jack (Jacek) Lekarczyk, owner of J.L. Contractor Services LTD, out of five (5) proposals. They were the only contractor with expertise in both roofing and exterior home improvement. Their “scope of work” was meticulously detailed. Their prices were transparent, to fully disclose all costs.My project began mid-December and required intricate work on the structural frameworks of my brick home and brick garage. Jack deployed multiple teams of “master craftsmen” in roofing, carpentry, aluminum, windows etc, in anticipation of Chicago’s unpredictable weather. Each day, crews arrived an hour early, by 7:00 am, and seemed to work nonstop until the job was done.Visually, it was a spectacular job-site with complex scaffolding and industrial equipment. The massive crew of “seasoned pros were of the highest caliber of craftsmanship. They were polite, considerate, “masters of their trade” who took pride in their work. They valued teamwork, like a “colony of ants”, for flawless execution with remarkable precision to stay on schedule.Jack was the only contractor who promised (in his proposal) to show photos for “visual proof” if additional expenses were warranted, (i.e., the replacement of rotten wood). Most impressive, he included the “panoramic photos” in his progress reports which captured entire work sites and surroundings from the sky to the ground. I could see everything as if I was standing on the roof.My new roofs are absolutely stunning! The value-added “fine-tuning” of the project, although unexpected, enhanced my property’s appearance and curb appeal in ways I never imagined. Scores of “gapers in cars and on foot marveled at the amazing transformation. Outstanding! I work in the construction industry and have extremely high expectations. JL Contractor Services exceeded those expectations. They know the CORRECT way things should be done, price accordingly, and stand behind their work. All of the masonry and roofing work completed was high quality. Im confident that IF an issue comes up with their work (and I dont think it will), they will come back to correct. They truly care about their reputation.

When you hire JL Contractor Services you quickly understand that owner Jack Lekarczyk takes tremendous pride in his work and so do the people on his team. This spring the monsoons hit Chicago and I contacted JL Contractor Services at the height of the deluge because my gutters were overflowing and contributed to the flooding of my neighbors basement. Jack sent Jiri Vacek the next day to assess the situation and Jiri got on his ladder and inspected the 3rd-floor gutters, unplugged my downspouts, explained the issues, answered my many questions and recommended doubling the downspouts to prevent the problem from happening in the future. Jack sent me a very fair proposal and Jiri performed the work a few days later. The job was a huge one but Jiri and his associate worked hard for 11 hours and cleaned up as if they were never there. I highly recommend using JL Contractor Services.
