I had a great experience with Rafael and his team at Lucas Carpentry. Weve had three different jobs with Rafael, and each time he was very honest and transparent during the bidding process. The team is punctual and professional. And the work is very high quality! jobs included drywall, insulation, ceiling repairs, and deck patio staircase construction

Santiago and his crew did an amazing and speedy job constructing our new back stairs. The price they offered seemed too good to be true, using better materials at a lower cost than the other people who provided quotes.In two days work, they removed and disposed of our old stairs and had completed construction. Not only was the new staircase top-notch, but it almost made our house feel like new. I highly recommend their services. They are friendly, professional, efficient, and responsive.

My wife and I received and reviewed seven estimates to install our deck and in the end we choose Lucas Carpentry to install. They were referred to us by one of their costumer. Lucas price was competitive and and within our budget. They allowed us to pull the permit required saving us time and money. (My friend who is an Architect draw my deck for the permit). They were very responsive and prompt in returning my calls and answering our questions. They were punctual and the team cleaned up the job site at the end of each day. We love the finished product and we are enjoying our new deck. No regrets and we are definitely recommending Lucas Carpentry.

Lucas carpentry is nothing but the best. They have done a number of projects for me and I’ll continue to use them for any carpentry. They did my back deck and front porch as well as built an entire roof over my back deck. They are always on time and price is always fair. Attention to detail is spot on and they’ll come back to fix any issues that may occur. I can’t say anything but good things.

Rafael and Fernando did a fantastic job and finished carpentry/trim work in my basement remodel. The quote was very reasonable. I hired them to install baseboards, door casings and install butcher block counter. They’ve always shown up on time and cleaned up afterwards.

Rafael, the owner of Lucas Carpentry, is a delight to work with. I feel like I found a gem in the rough with this general contractor. He is trustworthy, kind, hardworking, knowledgeable - AND reasonably priced! I appreciate that he genuinely cares about me being happy with the work - it is clear he takes great pride in what he does. I hired Lucas Carpentry to install a pantry/coffee bar at my home, and it looks incredible! When Rafael first came over to give me a quote, he was generous with his time, taking care to ask lots of clarifying questions to understand what our expectations were for various details (questions I never would have even considered!). Throughout the project, he was communicative and pleasant to work with. I was so happy Rafael and his teams work that I have hired them for all of my home projects since then - tiling, painting, installing hardware, and more. If you are looking for an incredible general contractor, look no further!

Honest. Clean work. Quick. Did some work for us in our apartment (blind installation, window sealing, tub grout). They were quick to send an estimate, fair prices, showed up the following week and got the job done in a few hours. Would recommend and hire them again.

Lucas Carpentry surpassed our expectations with our front stair replacement in every way. There choice of materials and construction methods maintained the appearance of the original stairs while adding long term durability and easier maintenance. The work was carried out with minimal disruption to our daily routine, and completed ahead of schedule. Worksite debris was a non issue. We ended up with new front stairs that add far more value to our house than what we paid.

I saw the great work the team at Lucas Carpentry did on 3 of my neighbors houses. They worked on a variety of projects: deck tear down and repair, front porch tear down and repair, patio pavers, and grass replacement with artificial turf (pool ready + eco-friendly). Solid recommendations from neighbors travel fast. I saw the Lucas team members work. I saw their process and final product with my own eyes. They set the bar high for personnel, level of professional skill, quality and pace of work. I had no doubts about hiring them for a my rear deck and front porch replacement. Hiring them was a great investment in happiness. I asked Rafael and and his team to ideate on maximizing my deck within the space I had, and solve how the steps could be configured. They immediately presented several easy to understand options. I asked for a custom column modification on the front porch. Again, Rafael knew exactly what to do. I was presented with samples of everything beforehand. There were no surprises during the construction. Additionally, 2 more neighbors also signed on with them after my job.I highly recommend the Lucas Carpentry team!
