Harry has been one of our favorite contractors we’ve worked with. He’s polite, funny and very hard working. He took on a big job with lots of unconventional aspects and did a great job. He helped us replace all the drywall in the basement of an old two-flat that had settled creating some less-than-straight walls and angles. With his ingenuity the job went very smoothly. His mudding and taping work is great.

His team removed all waste and cleaned the excess dust created.His team was very polite and professional and his rates were competitive. HK DRYWALL did a great job fixing a massive ceiling drywall issue after water damage. Very knowledgeable and thorough, cleaned up after each work day, looks better than before the incident!!! Reinstalled baseboards and painted walls as well for a reasonable price!!

Normally when a service has been provided or performed, I do not take the time to review or offer comments. HOWEVER, every once in a while, there is that rare case where you feel it is warranted, such as now.Id like to take this opportunity to commend Harry King and his hard-working staff (Lorenzo, Xavier, D, A.D, and DeAngelo) at HK Drywall Services Inc. for the work that was done on my home. My hallway ceiling on the first floor was in desperate need of repair and I took a leap of faith on getting in contact with Harry to see if he would be willing to do the work needed. Knowing how some businesses tend to put you through loops of frustration and disappointment when it comes to evaluations and estimates, that was not the case here.After a brief phone conversation along with photos sent depicting the problem area, Harry was at my home within 10 minutes to survey and provide entail on what needed to be done. I was very impressed with his expertise and knowledge. That expertise and knowledge also made him look at the ceiling in the bedroom adjacent to the hallway as he noticed it was in need of some repair. Given those set of financial circumstances facing me, I was amazed at the very reasonable estimate, which was much lower than I expected.From Tuesday (12/5/23) through Friday (12/8/23) Harry and his staff devoted great time and effort to seeing the job through. Some days they wanted to continue right through into the night, but I knew that even A great talent like him needed to rest. So, for me, as important as it was for him to do the work, it was just as important for him to rest and reset for the next day.I am proud and honored to say that the finished product is immaculate and above and beyond any expectation I may have placed on Harry and his staff. They even took the liberty of cleaning up and removing all of the garbage from the home before, during, and after the job was completed-- something that I as a homeowner normally would do. Harry insisted that A finger not be lifted because HE wanted to make sure that whatever was done, in the name of hard work and dedication by HIM and his staff, was perfected at every level.I am grateful and blessed to have had the opportunity to work with Harry. Not only is he gifted but a man of faith who keeps his word and goes above and beyond what is required, so that the clientele is left with an assurance of complete and total satisfaction on a job well done. We were desperate for someone to take care of the walls in our new house before our move-in date which was right around the corner. Several other outfits had fallen through for us. We found Harry via Google Recommends and he came that night to look at our place and give us an estimate. We knew he was legitimate when he charged a nominal fee for making the trip to case out the job. When he arrived, it was obvious that he had an eye for details and possibilities that surpassed anyone else wed considered. He scoped out our hundred-year-old walls and asked us why we wanted to cover the excellently preserved plaster work that was already there with new drywall. We had no answer except to say that that was what we thought everyone did. He explained the benefits of working with plaster, especially in our situation, and made us feel reassured. The way he looked at every wall, every corner, making notes to himself with hand gestures made it clear that he was an artist who takes great pride in his work. He quoted us a price for the job that was substantially less than the others who had wanted to default to putting up drywall.Then he asked us about our timeline. We had to tell him that we were moving in 6 days later... He paused, wide eyed, and then asked us, Are you all trying to give me... a challenge? (We got a great laugh out of the moment.) Harry immediately started doing the calculations of what he could shuffle around schedule-wise and made us priority. Starting a day or two later, he and his crew worked like a well-oiled machine all day and well into the night to make sure our walls were beautiful and paint-ready before we moved in. Much of that time, Harry worked alone. His determination and good humor were among the most admirable Ive seen in any kind of professional. When the dust (literally) settled, we were looking at the house wed dreamed of moving into. Thank you, Harry! You are the best!I cannot recommend HK Drywall enough. Dont let them get away. Hire them before somebody else steals their availability from you!

Called Harry about installing new drywall and repairing drywall in my 120 year old home. He installed drywall in my foyer, stairwell, hallway, and 2 closets. We were under a tight deadline and he did his best to accommodate. The work he did was superb. Hes a hard worker and treated our house with respect and care, as if it were his own. His work was so great we instantly hired him to start a project we were putting off until next year. I would not hesitate to recommend HK Drywall.

I could not get a reliable person to do my drywall project and to be honest it felt heaven sent connecting with HK drywall services. He was able to help me quickly. He had a solution. Harry did an amazing job. I needed to cut a hole + trim , paint, framing, adding supports and patch up in between two commerical spaces and one side had bricks and the other had concrete through it. This was a larger job and yet within 4 days Harry did an extermely professional job and was very punctual as well. He knew of all the tools to rent and materials to purchase to complete the job. I tried hiring other drywall companies/ contactors and they could not figure out how to complete this job.
