Wonderful experience! They were very prompt returning my call and scheduled the appointment immediately for an estimate. Jason gave the estimate that I accepted immediately and he scheduled installation of my fan for 3 days later. Charleston, the tech, was very prompt, professional and courteous. I love my new fan and would highly recommend Mr. Electric.

Jason came by to give me a quote for installing a bathroom exhaust fan today. He was VERY professional and overall had a friendly and welcoming personality. He checked my attic and took extra steps to make sure that the fan can be installed. Its nice to see a person actually show passion about their job ! He explained everything to me and went above and beyond to give suggestions.Even prior to the quote, he called after scheduling the appointment to see if I needed help. Mr. Electric has done a few jobs for us recently. They upgraded our electrical panel, installed new spotlights on the corners of our house, and installed two dedicated outlets. Weve contracted with them to run electricity to our shed, too. This company is great! They are very professional. Their prices are very reasonable. They arrive on time, they are prompt, courteous, and cleaned up afterwards. We highly recommend using them for your electrical needs. If we need any type of electrical work done in the future, we will always call them.

I had two ceiling fans installed, an electrical outlet on my sun porch added and one outside on my deck along with moving my panel box outside and switching it over to breakers. I usually dont do reviews, Mr. Electric deserves the highest rating possible. I had an electrical problem and no other local electricians could respond for atleast two days. I called and set up for an estimate. Byron and Jason came out and not only estimated, they found and fixed the problem which was a shorted out outlet caused by earlier pressure washing event. That may not seem like much to most but from start to finish, if Mr. Electric treats everyone the way they treated and responded to me, they be deserving of everyones business.

Jason came out and replaced a faulty outlet, checked all other surrounding outlets. Explained to me in detail what was to be done, explained about the diagnostic fee, he showed me after the work how he restored the outlets. Very courteous and on time , cleaned up after the work was done. I would highly recommend Mr. Electric. Please make up your own mind, dont listen to the bad reviews obviously some people complain about everything, Problems come up and electricity is something everyone knows nothing about....if you dont want to pay the experts, then go to school to become an electrician! Mr. Electric you rock!!!

Found Mr. Electric on the Internet after recently moving to Chesapeake and I needed help getting a fluorescent light fixture working. Jason Baker arrived on time and did an excellent job troubleshooting and fixing my problem (changing out a ballast). He was professional - explained everything and made sure I had a good understanding of what needed to be done. He cleaned up his workspace when he was through; also made sure everything was working properly before leaving.After being apprehensive with using a company I was not familiar with, I am satisfied and look forward to working with Mr. Electric in the future for my electrical needs and home safety inspections. Mr. E saved me a big headache. Was having an impossible time decipher the wiring of a 4-way circuit in a 20 year old house, as it had been disconnected by a previous owner for some strange reason. Bought a new house in Greenbrier. Realized no ceiling light in the sun room. Next week is crazy so I bought a ceiling fan/light yesterday (Saturday). I have a regular electrician but they dont work weekends. Called Mr. Electric hoping they could squeeze me in. At first they were booked but called me back about 1/2 hr later. BYRON was professional, did the job quickly and pointed out a few additional Mr. Electric services I may be interested in. He is coming back Wedneday to install another ceiling fan/light my guest bedroom, plus add remote control to two existing ceiling fan/lights. Happy customer!

We just moved to this area and noticed all of our lights kept flickering as if we were in a lightning storm. I called on Monday and the woman who answered the phone was so nice, extremely helpful, and was able to get us an appointment the very next day. After calling 2 other local electricians and having them not respond to my calls I did a Google search and found Mr. Electric. I called them mid morning and was able to get an appt the same day. Byron called to let me know he was on his way and arrived within the time window I was promised. He listened attentively while I described the problem (no power in bedroom). He started at the circuit breaker and checked every breaker for power and checked the wiring connection on each one. Once that all checked out Byron put on shoe covers to protect the carpet and went to the bedroom and checked the receptacles and switches there. They were all dead. He then started investigating how he thought the wires were run from the circuit breaker and started working backwards out of the bedroom. He discovered a wire on a switch in our master bathroom that had come undone (poor stab-in method when the house was built). Byron re wired all 3 switches in that box the correct way and once he turned that breaker back on, the bed room lights came on! Byron was very professional and a very nice guy. I was only charged the amount I was told when I first called their office. There was never an attempt to sell me any other services. I will definitely use them again if I have any more electrical problems.
