    Doug is a great down to earth guy who won’t try to upswell you on additional upgrades that you don’t need (unlike the other 2 electricians I got quotes from). He helped install a Clipper Creek EV charger for me, as well as a few outlets in my house. Doug is professional, had the best rates for my project, and does excellent work. I would trust Doug with all of my future electrical work.

    Amazing service. Doug is fantastic, super-reasonable pricing, all around good guy with great quality results. Put in an EV charger and hardwired some lights, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Definitely our go-to electrician from now on!

    I contacted Doug to install my Tesla wall connector in Norfolk, VA. He was very prompt and helpful during our communications. He did an excellent job during the install, which was not an easy job due to the distance from my electrical panel to where I wanted the wall connector to be installed. He worked quickly and efficiently and was happy to explain things as he worked. I appreciated the fact that it was a one man operation and I was able to interact directly with him since he was doing all of the electrical work.I will definitely contact Doug in the future for any electrical issues/jobs that arise in the future. I highly recommend Doug for any electrical work that you need, you will not be disappointed!

    Used Doug to fix my wiring nightmare as I tried to sell my house. Doug was great. Worked with my busy schedule to make sure the work was completed in a timely manner and to exceptional standards. Was so satisfied that I call Doug for all my electrical needs. Price is very reasonable. and service was exceptional. Very detail oriented. Remember you get what you pay for. I used another electrician for a smaller job, the $10 I saved was not worth it when I had to have it completed by a real professional. Use DEL electric and you will be satisfied.

    Doug is a great Electrical Contractor. He is completely honest and gives great advice on any electrical issue. He has worked on everything from lights, switches, pulling circuits and other issues in our home. He is completely fair too. I had a quote to connect an attic fan that I knew was outrageous. Doug came out, did that work and several other small jobs for less than half the cost. He is always careful, talks his way through any issue and comes up with a great solution. He is completely trust worthy works on projects while we are out of the house. We cannot recommend him highly enough.

    This is competent and caring electrical contractor. Ive had experience with Doug working on everything from Knob and Tube to Tesla charging ports. He is an expert in his field and understands how electrical things actually work. Way more than just a wire-puller. No ridiculously high prices like the big companies and you actually get THE electrical contractor, not a laborer or apprentice. Thanks for all your help and you get 5 stars from me.

    I have used Del Electric for multiple jobs. Doug installed a generator interlock system on my house electrical panel, he also installed a electrical panel and wiring to an outbuilding, lastly replaced electrical service on an old rental property. DELs prices have always been competitive. Doug shows up when he says he will, he does QUALITY work, sticks to his bid with no surprises.DEL Electric = Honesty, integrity, quality workmanship.

    I just had to come write a review after my experience with Doug from DEL Electric because it was SO GOOD. I reached out on a Saturday and although Doug was out of town, he promptly texted me scheduling options for this week. He was available the next business day, so I chose that. He showed up at the time he said he would show up (yay!), and quickly diagnosed the issue causing a number of lights and outlets to not work. He then proceeded to fix it, all the while answering my questions about how things work, and what to look out for with switches and outlets. He definitely knows his trade. When I asked him how much I owed him he said dont worry about it. Can you believe that?! He didnt let me pay. I will need some chandeliers switched out in the near future and you can bet I will be calling Doug to do the job!! Highly recommend. Great guy & Ill be more than happy to give him my money next time.

    Absolutely the BEST contractor I hired period! Outstanding work, corrected numerous electrical issues as well as renovation upgrades! I can not say enough about his level of professionalism. I would without reservation recommend him for any electrical issues or upgrades. I wish I could find a general contractor as good as Doug.

    Excellent service, did a first class job. Had all house wiring upgraded as well as replacement cable from the utility pole to the house. All meters and boxes were also relocated. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of getting any electrical work done.
