They were on time, polite and so far the job seems solid. As the price, I felt it was somewhat high. Yet, I have not used a plumber in years. 2018 and at that time my ground had to be dug up and cost 2.5 x less. This time it was two exposed 6 inch long pipes. Oh well. Maybe its the going rate for today. The quality seems on point.

After returning home on july 6, from being out of town, we noticed that we had a leak. I became very discouraged when I began calling plumbing companys and they didnt answer, or told me they would call back and didnt. Finally i got someone to come out, but he decided he couldnt get into the tight end of the crawl space. He refered us to Glen. We were told that Glen was good at getting into tight small places, and he was indead. Glen was very thorough and actually found that the leak was inside an access panel in the house the whole time. I highly recommend Glen at Southside Plumbing. He was even very comfortable with my dogs. Thank you Glen!

Glen came to our house and wrote up an initial free estimate two days early at the end of his business day for which we were grateful considering an associated time constraint. The job consisted of replacing the entire sewer line running around the house to the city tap at the road. This was a very extensive job given the length of run, proximity to two enormous oak trees (within 15 ft) and the age of the house/sewer (1948). He beat two other companies in price by alot which was initially alarming due to the complexity. He spent all day battling roots, antiquated sewage design and the sheer depth of the trench needed for such a long run. We had good flow the first day and didnt have to leave for showers that night. He capped off the cleanouts by 9 the next morning and was technically done. We also had a preexisting issue with a bathroom sink which was not in the scope of the job we agreed on, yet he came in, troubleshot the issue and determined that it couldnt be fixed immediately due to an unrelated issue.Glen truly does fantastic, affordable work in a timely and transparent manner. He will get the job done right.

I live in carrollton and had Glenn come by today to trouble shoot and fix a problem I just could not figure out... Let me tell you... Great guy, very social and willing to walk you through the problem and explain it and the fix. Mild mannered and easy going guy with great patience... He worked with me on a very fair bill. More fair for me than it was himself and I greatly appreciate it. Does great work and I recommend him for anyone with plumbing needs. Buisness located in carrollton and I gladly support our local businesses, especially those with respect, integrity, and quality work like southside plumbing... Thanks again Glenn!

Discovered a leak under the house and called first thing Monday morning. They responded immediately and had the problems solved in a couple of hours despite having to access the broken pipe under a porch deck. Same day service by friendly plumber. What more can you ask for?
