This company is top notch!! Kenneth came out first thing in the morning to do a plumbing leak test. He was very friendly, professional, on time and super knowledgeable. I really appreciate the time he took to talk me through everything and answer all my questions. Jamie in the office couldnt have been nicer, either. James Pendley (JP) is by far the best plumber ever. He was very caring, thorough, communicative, and compassionate. He made me feel like I was a priority since Atoms had shut off my gas. He knew exactly what to do to fix the gas leak, and I felt very confident in his skills. He was also fair and transparent about the cost of his services. There are not enough words to express how professional, courteous, and thorough they were.Your customer service is second to none!!I would suggest however that your company not associate with Permatech Foundation/Smart Foundation Repair moving forward. They are the complete opposite, and have been absolutely horrible to work with. I had an emergency and needed a plumber quickly. Even though Jims could not get out there until first thing the next morning, they put me on a wait list in case of a cancelation. Sure enough, they had a cancellation and had a plumber to my location within a few hours. They even texted me a link to the profile of the plumber headed my way. Larry diagnosed the problem and fixed it quickly at a reasonable rate. Would highly recommend Jims.

Chris did a great job replacing a warranty gas mover valve where another plumbing co. said out of warranty and I needed a whole new water heater! Chris also found another leak by the inside turnoff valve that he fixed. Great at explaining how things work too.Lisa recommended that I go to Bradford White warranty dept to confirm, which was great advice, my HWH was still under warranty for 6-7 more weeks!Larry came back when the new gas control valve wouldnt ignite pilot & that turned out to be another great lesson I didnt know about. Press the red reset button as sometimes it will overheat in hot TX weather as a safety feature when garage gets too hot. Jims Plumbing Now plumbers really help you out by explaining things to you.I would highly recommend Jims Plumbing Now for great plumbers!Anne

I am a retired purchasing professional. When you spend your employers money, its is extremely important you only hire someone that knows what is wrong and how to repair/install it correctly. Usually, you go through several parties before you discover the right party that is fair, honest and skilled enough where you can relax. Jims Plumbing Now has done that very thing for me at my home. I dont have to play 50 questions to learn if they care and are qualified. I have used them on several occasions and know I will be happy when they are on the job.

We thought we had a plumbing leak so we asked around and were referred to call Jim’s plumbing now. I’m so glad we did. James’s was our plumber initially and he went above and beyond to make sure I understood everything that he was looking at. He used a camera and identified several areas of concern and explained the process of what he was doing and what was found as well as providing itemized quotes for the separate repair recommendations. He took his time and was thorough. Very grateful to find a plumbing company that cares and pays attention to detail.Update: We elected to fix our clean out which was cracked so we could do a hydrostatic test and confirm if we had any leaks beneath our foundation. I started digging the clean out myself because I’m stubborn and cheap (I definitely don’t recommend doing this on your own) but realized I was going to need some professional help when I ran into concrete and inadvertently severed the water line running to an outside faucet.I called Jim’s plumbing again and they sent Keith to fix my mistake within a couple hours. They also got me on the schedule asap and sent out an excavation crew the next day. Then Keith from Jim’s plumbing came out and finished did an amazing job that evening! Very meticulous, great communication, and easy to talk to. 100% satisfied with his work and professionalism.

Great pre-appointment communication with a photo of the tech.Chris was professional and pleasant. He explained things with clarity, not like some that try to confuse you into more than what you need with technical B.S. Instead of encouraging to the more expensive full replacement, he attempted a fix. When that didn’t work, we moved on and they were generous when calculating the final price. Which was as fair as one can hope. The cost of the guy off NextDoor, but the professionalism of the shiny trucks….although, Chris did arrive in a shiny truck. A clean one.Chris’s install was cleaner than installs I’ve seen in Preston Hollow and Highland Park. He corrected a previous poor install and made sure to elevate the new drain pan so that it drained properly (minor carpentry).While I hope I don’t have to call them again, at least now I don’t have to dread who I get.UPDATE 11/14/24: I wish I could review twice! The last couple o visits were performed by Malik, hiw professional demeanor was superb and wilingness to explain reasoning and cost made spending the money we needed to a little less frustrating ,leaving me with the confidence that the right decision was made. If I could give 10 stars, I would. James came out because I had warping wood floors in my kitchen near my dishwasher.James did an extremely thorough sequence of tests and explained to me every step so that we knew why he was eliminating each potential cause. At the end he told me it was a toilet leak that was causing the water meter to run slowly. After he fixed the toilet leak there was no more water running. Therefore there was no slab leak. I was so relieved!The wood warping was because the dishwasher had a leaky gasket and over time the hot steam damaged the floor.While James was here he fixed another water Valve that was stuck open and he fixed the cause of the leaky toilet.This was all done with extreme courtesy, professionalism, and a smile on his face. People like James are very rare and I am so grateful that I found him.Highly recommend Jim’s Plumbing Now and I highly recommend James !!!Several plumbers and Leak Detection companies had come out prior to this. No one could determine the cause of water leak or the wood warping. They tried to sell me hot water heaters instead !

Victor and Kenneth came out and helped out family gain some peace of mind with replacing a worn out water heater that sounded more like a cement mixer and then they proceeded to handle many small plumbing issues I’ve neglected. They taught me proper maintenance and were “salesy” in the slightest, which I appreciate that type of honest and real work ethic. Jims is my go to plumber from now on.

I recently had my foundation leveled and to pass inspection a plumbing pressure test… was required….“Jim’s Plumbing Now” promptly scheduled their plumber/inspector Kenneth to do the testing. He arrived - right on time on the scheduled date - also explaining what he was doing to check that the plumbing was working correctly after the recent foundation work.He was very thorough in checking all the sewer lines, water supply and all the necessary pressure tests…I did appreciate his patience with my questions and his courteous and honest answers.This is the second time I have used the company “Jim’s Plumbing Now” and will certainly call them with any further plumbing issues.
