    Matt came to repair my pipe and was very knowledgeable and helpful. He carved out time in his busy schedule and came over within 24 hours of my call. He was very thorough and ensured the pipe was completely cleared before closing up the tank (using a camera).     Matt and his team were terrific! I had many concerns, but Matt reassured me. Installing a new sewer line with Underground Pipe Company turned out to be the easiest repair project weve ever done. They solved what had been a persistent issue in just a few hours. Nothing needed to be dug up, there was no mess and no odor. Just happy tenants with toilets that go BaWHOOOOSH. Worth. every. penny!

    After dealing with another national plumbing company that could not open up our main line and pretty much gave up, I called Matt who was recommended to me by a relative. I got lucky because he happened to be in the area and was able to get a quick assessment of the issue. He scheduled me in the next day for service and they were able to get the line draining again with one of their water blasting techniques. He also gave me a sketch of the pipe layout from what they saw on their cameras, and a recommendation on how to fix the issue for good in the future (I apparently have an old trap that has a tree root issue every couple of years). Very impressive what they do and what additional options they have in their toolkit to clean and re-line old cast iron pipes, which I didnt even know was a thing! I will never use anyone else for this type of issue again.

    Matt was able to fit me into his schedule on the day I called. He showed up at the scheduled time and was able to remove the large amount of lead causing a blockage in my sewer line. Another company was going to have to excavate and replace a section of pipe to fix my issue which would’ve cost at least 3X the amount and probably damaged my sidewalk. Matt really helped me out!

    If your sewer has a break in it, I ABSOLUTELY and HIGHLY recommend you contact Underground Pipe before you do anything else - SERIOUSLY!Matt and Richie and his other help were nothing but polite, courteous, and clean.Bottom line is there is no doubt in my mind that the work they performed saved me thousands of dollars. In fact, if I were to not use them, I would only have the break repaired as opposed to having a new sewer pipe installed without jack hammering my basement floor.Matt actually performed other work outside of our agreement because it was the right thing to do and he stands by his work.Underground Pipe is so proud of the work they do, they will show you step by step what they are doing.It is great to know that there are still businesses that have the commitment Underground Pipe does.

    Matt was both responsive and informative. I own an old farmhouse and original pipes to sewer line were starting to rust out and was getting water in basement. Initially thought I was looking at costly and messy excavation but he was able to use a liner instead which was a huge relief. He walked me through the process, showed video of camera through the piping to confirm effectiveness, and to date the solution has worked seamlessly. Couldnt be happier with the result.

    Very pleased with the service and results. Mathew and his crew used the process to repair over 60 feet of sewer line that went under my asphalt driveway from my basement, to the septic tank. I am so pleased that I did not have to dig up the yard and driveway. I moved to my 1928 built home in Pittsford four years ago. During those four years I called my local plumber three time to clear roots from the sewer line. The first time I waited too long. The basement flooded. We pulled out the soaked carpet. After the line was cleared the first two times, I wishfully thought my problem was fixed. At each visit the plumbers recommended I replace the sewer line. They handed me a brochure about the Underground Pipe saying folks were pleased with the underground pipe replacement process. After the third time, I stopped procrastinating and decided to fix the problem for good. I called Matt. He came out to scope the line and give me an estimate. We set up a date. The crew of three showed up and installed the pipe in less than half a day. Dealing with Matt and his crew was a pleasure. They are customer focused! The finished product looks like a PVC pipe. I have attached a picture of the finished product at a bend in the line to my septic tank.

    Our sewer drain line had a crack in the pipe which Matt was able to locate. He let me know there are 2 ways to make the repair. I decided to go with pipe lining because of the age of the pipe.Monroe #1 BOCES is very happy with the results and how Matt explained our options and exactly what the company was going to do installing the pipe lining.     Matt Poretta (the owner of the company) personally handled the repair job on the sewer line of my house built in the 1800s. He was amazing. He assessed the broken sewer line with a pipe camera and showed me the problems within the line and why water was backing up into my basement. Instead of just quoting me a high estimate, he reviewed the problem with me and gave me several options. I chose a middle of the road fix (repaired about half the line that was below the house and back porch). He went above and beyond with service as he also jetted and cleared the entire line (at no extra charge) and removed the cost of the camera scoping of the entire sewer line. He also let me pay in 2 installments! His service was above and beyond what I expected and I would highly recommend him as a professional and very honest contractor.

    Several weeks ago I had Matt and his team from Underground Pipe Co. take a look at my 60+ year old home in Rochester because of a history of sewer back up issues. We have a finished basement with in-floor heating so digging was out of the question. They found concrete residue to be the problem in out cast iron pipes. They were able to diagnosis the problem, chip out the concrete and reline the pipe with PVC all the way to the street. This was no chip shot, they broke some of their equipment in the process and it took a little longer than anticipated but in the end the job was done to perfection. The entire team was courteous professional and extremely clean particularly considering the nature of the job. When they left no one would ever know they were there except of course my plumbing now works better than ever. I have nothing but the highest regard for Matt and his team and can without any reservation highly recommend them.

    They installed a new lining for the sewer lateral from our basement all the way out to the municipal sewer main in the center of the street, without needing to schedule multiple excavations with different entities (usually requires both a homeowners contractor and someone from the municipality to do work separately across the property line into the right-of-way). Clean and relatively quick compared to similar jobs Ive seen in the neighborhood that drag on and can be quite messy.

    They did extensive diagnostics to determine what was wrong with our sewer. Then came and replaced the main line in less than a day. It was extensive cutting our slab, stubbing the old line drilling a new hole for the new line through the foundation. In addition attached the laundry drain to it. Then poured new cement to cover the new pipe.They have a good work ethic and work very hard. I highly recommend this company.

    There are four utility cornerstones that need to be reliable at all times: electric, HVAC, water and sewer. When one owns a 120+ year old home, it’s a challenge to ensure each of these are up to the task. The last element I needed to shore up was my septic system. As the majority of my septic line is buried beneath a 5ft x 12ft x 0.4ft concrete slab, underground repair was my preferred option. I did research on several companies in the area, and ultimately selected Underground Pipe Co to reach out to for service.I can honestly say I made the best selection ever: Matt and team were fabulous from start to finish! The estimate I was given was fair and completely on par with my expectations based upon my research. Everyone I dealt with was responsive, prompt, and knowledgeable. They ended up having to replace a 5ft portion of the pipe directly attached to the septic tank before installing the liner, because it was in such poor shape. Ever try digging up a 2 x 6 x 3 ft section of packed soil laden with fieldstones by hand? These guys were champs! They repaired the pipe and put the new liner in place in record time. You can barely tell that anyone has even been there except for some loose sod (yes, they even took the time to re-lay that). I tested the newly lined pipe before recovering the tank, and the results are fabulous! The septic efflux has never been this fast/free-flowing since I purchased the house many years ago. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome, and would highly recommend their services to any who need them. Seriously, don’t hesitate: do yourself a favor and call now.Many thanks again, Matt and Co!P.S.- Matt, give the individual who worked on my system a bonus. After all that digging, he deserves it!
