    My well pump was making noise and I was concerned that it would need to be replaced. Mike Z came out on the day I called. He replaced the pressure gage. Drained my holding tank. Checked all the system levels and felt that we are ok for now. Pump is nearing the end of its life and sometime in the future it will need to be replaced. He is going to send me quotes on what I will be looking at when the time comes.

    Zach was super helpful, immediately responsive, and very professional. I had frozen pipes at a cottage on the lake and was worried about what I was going to be charged! They responded quickly, fixed the problem and it was a comparable price for the work done.

    Superior Plumbing! Incredible service! From the first point of contact, Superior Plumbing’s team was one-step ahead the entire time. Service was scheduled immediately, followed by email/text communications about fees, appointment date/time and provided me with a picture/profile of the service technician visiting my house. My service tech, Jesse, was upbeat and polite - shoes off at the door, listened intently to the issue at hand and got right to work. He was efficient and worked with an awareness for the care of my home. Plumbing issues hopefully will be far and few between, but grateful to have a such an awesome team with a locally owned and run company to service my home.     Kym KarutzOn Saturday morning we had a plumbing back up blockage that started water pouring out through a sink in our basement. We contacted Superior Plumbing Service based on a very good reference to assess and correct the issue. They called us back and Rob was on site working within in 45 minutes. He jumped into gear and started disassembling the plumbing connections and placed a Auger into the piping to break through the blockage. This did not open up the blockage, hence had to get backup support utilizing a water jetting system. Eric arrived 30 minutes later and they placing the water jet system into position. With in 15 minutes, they had removed the blockage within the plumbing system. But to be sure all was taken care of, they double/triple checked to ensure everything was clear to the street. There communication and dedicated feed back was fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Rob and Eric for your dedicated work and support to save our day.

    We had a backup in our sewer line to the road. Rob came out within 2 hours of my initial phone call. We discovered that the line had a significant belly in it which was not allowing liquid to pass. The full crew was out 2 days later and replaced the entire line. I was very impressed with all 4 people involved in the job. The quality of work was outstanding as was their knowledge and ability to problem solve. Thanks for a great experience.

    Oh my gosh. I can’t believe how quickly Jessie came to fix our leak. A pipe burst in our bathroom. Water all over the place.     If I could give more than 5 stars I would.Let me first say that we were jerked around by a different plumbing company who made an appointment with us last week and didn’t show up for 2 days.I am so happy we called Superior today.Our tech Rob was on time and friendly.He was knowledgeable took care of our problem pretty quickly.I am updating this.We had another plumbing problem and Rob came out and replaced our hot water tank and although it is an unexpected cost I am VERY pleased with the price and our service.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company

    Rob worked on a shower leak in our historic home. He had to come 3 times to fix the leak from our upstairs shower. The 3rd time appears to be the fix of our leak.Rob was always courteous, on time, and confident that he could complete his work in a reasonable amount of time.

    Superior did a whole house replumb of hot and cold water lines and all drain, waste and vent lines, compete to the septic tank, on a 100 year old cottage. The cottage is used only in the warm months, so designing the plumbing for winterizing was critical. Phil, Doug and Jesh had a simple and effective way to slope plumbing from rear to front underneath in the crawl space, which greatly facilitates draining water lines for the winter. We started with a gutted space for a new bathroom and an access hole in the floor. They installed a new shower, and tied in the toilet, vanity and kitchen sink. They fitted the drain, waste and vent pipe in a tight crawl space and installed proper venting in the walls and attic, through the roof, all on two 90 degree sweltering days. Doug and Jesh came prepared and on time. They executed a well thought plan which allowed me to work closely behind them closing in the walls and laying the floor. Garret and Eric helped finish the project by excavating out to the septic and tearing out all the old plumbing in the crawl space. We were up and running with a new, functional bathroom in three days, and only lost use of a toilet and sink for less than a day. These guys were a pleasure for this retired DIYer to work with - extremely professional, creative, and smart. And, the price was quite reasonable with no quibbling about add-ons. Cant thank these guys enough for a job well done.

    Main cut off valve had a major leak and was about to flood the basement. Water Authority was out within 30 minutes to turn the water supply off. Superior Plumbing had Mike Z. out here in less than two hours. Mike efficiently and expertly installed a new valve system. What could have been a disaster was averted by Superior Plumbing and Monroe County Water Authority understanding the urgency of the situation.

    Great guys, great service, fair price. The only thing I would suggest is using a drop cloth if possible when in someone’s house especially if it’s wet out as the mud tracks in and leaves more cleanup!That being said I would definitely use them again!

    This is an edited review. I have used Superior Plumbing a couple times. I did have an issue that left me unsatisfied and noted that in a review. I was contacted by Phil in response to my review. I have to respect that they took the time to respond to my issue (and listen to me run my mouth...) to take steps to remedy my dissatisfaction. I did have a positive experience with the work performed, response time and the plumber assigned was friendly and knowledgeable.

    The problem is no running water in the barn. The technician who came out explained how the parts of a water hydrant work and why it doesn’t freeze. He also had a much better idea of where to put the new hydrant - where it will be out of the way of equipment and an occasional curious pet and very accessible! Great service!

    Once again want to say how great the service has been with Superior Plumbing. Every time I have called they respond very quickly and take care of the problem I have called about. They even went beyond and addressed another issue we were dealing with in an upstairs laundry room. Zack H. came out and completed a toilet replacement and also addressed a problem with a poorly placed utility sink in our laundry room. The service from the phone call to the visit have continually been exceptional. Great people!!

    Getting a new faucet installed should be simple, but the original company that did it missed the boat. The fixture started acting up just months after it was installed. Was it the installer or a product flaw? We called in Superior, instead of the original installer, to give us an independent look at the problem. They diagnosed it as problems with the fixture, gave us a lot of advice on a good replacement fixture and were able to install the new one as soon as it arrived. Great people to do business with.

    First thing, I totally recommend Phil, Tony and the entire team at Superior Plumbing. Let me just s even when something appears to be easy, it is not. Perseverance on Tonys and our part paid off. This was to be a simple drop in sink, but the position on the cut-out was strange. So, Sink #1 (stainless steel) would not work. So Tony handled everything else to bring us up to modern day standards, so then we had to schedule again. Then we order Sink #2 (stone acrylic mix). We dropped it in, and it had tabs for clips which cause a major gap. That would not work, so we were recommended to get another sink, or somehow, remove the tabs. A friend who had the right tools to help, removed the tabs. Finally, Tony came back (our dog loves him now), dropped and caulked the sink, ran the plumbing even better than expected (thank you Tony), and along with our higher powered garbage disposal, it is a dream to use it. We will be adding accessories in time. Simply, we will call Superior for all of our plumbing needs.

    Our 10 year old water heater had a malfunction last week. Superior was quickly at our house to look at the situation, and offered ideas about a replacement heater, which we approved. Our service tech was great. Friendly, smart and very knowledgeable. We are looking forward to our new tankless heater to be installed.Update: our new tankless water heater was installed today, and I am very pleased with all the careful, hard work.     Phil & Mike arrived at the scheduled hour, used a new high-tech snake system, worked very efficiently, with no time wasted, diagnosed the sewage blockage problem, and cleaned out all our sewer lines. In the process, it became clear that our system needed an update, evidenced by soil in the lines from broken or decayed lines and joints. Our system was put in 44 years ago when town sewage lines first arrived, so this news came as no surprise. Phil and Mike were courteous and friendly, explaining things to me along the way. They were experienced and both very competent. We were very pleased with their work and the whole event went very smoothly. They advised us to consider putting in new lines everywhere next spring when we open up our cottage again. (Its a seasonal place.) We are considering this very seriously, to the point of getting a cost estimate for the proposed work and discussed scheduling. I should note that we heard about Superior from our regular plumber, who felt that the job needed more than he could provide, and he gave them high marks!

    Zach really knows his stuff. We had Superior Plumbing out to diagnose an unknown system in an old home we bought and he was able to sort us out and recommend a plan to modernize the system that fit our needs.Update: The project was completed as expected, with everything put together and well fit. They were even able to arrange the replacement setup in a way that even saved us a bunch of basement floor space.

Our main water line into the house burst underground and caused our entire living area to flood.     Our main floor toilet clogged up on a Friday and it was evening before we realized our DIY efforts werent going to work. Most didnt even answer their phone. Saturday we got a hold of a couple plumbing services who couldnt come until Monday. Superior called back Saturday morning and was here before noon. They were professional, friendly and got the job done. They also pointed out a potential issue with the upstairs toilet which was good to know before it caused a serious problem.     I am so impressed and thankful for the great service from Superior Plumbing. We had a hot water heater issue on the Friday before a long holiday weekend. I called Friday am, they scheduled same day and installed a tankless water system and stayed until 6:00 pm. That is the kind of service you do not receive from many businesses. Thank you to Superior and to Zach for the great customer experience. Additionally, earlier in the week Mike came to our house and installed a new outdoor faucet. He was also great to work with.     The non-profit I manage needed a repair on work that another plumbing company did earlier this year. The previous contractor chose not to install a new closet flange/toilet shoe and instead left only one bolt holding the toilet in place (they also put the cap back on the missing bolt so as to cover it up). Superior was very responsive, on time, and the repair (which was an actual repair, not just driving bolts through the floor as the initial contractor wanted to do) was thorough and fast, not to mention $100 less than the initial contractor wanted.Would definitely use Superior again without hesitation. Plumbing isnt cheap to begin with, but I dont mind paying for quality work.

What I didn’t like was when the bill was being written up I was told that there was a 3% charge add if I was using a credit card for anything over $1500.     I had a water heater problem on a late Friday afternoon and called Superior for some help. They made an appointment for Saturday morning at 9:00 AM. Their Tech (Tony) showed up at 8:30 - calling first to make sure it was OK to come a little early and looked beer out heater. He noted that the heater was installed in 1999 and was in pretty bad shape, suggesting we install a new one and quoted a price. Tony proceeded to remove the old one and completed the job with in 3 hours. We were very happy with Tonys professional attitude, making sure nothing in the house was damaged and then cleaned up everything prior to leaving. The price we paid was the price quoted at the start. I had called another well known plumbing company in the area and was told they would get back to me the next morning to schedule a service call. Im still waiting for that call back. Bigger is not better so I would recommend Superior and Tony to all my friends.

    I had a fantastic experience with Superior Plumbing. I called about a backed up kitchen sink that we had dried to fix with no avail. Superior scheduled a visit for first thing the next morning. The two men who arrived were very kind and professional. They had to try a few different things to resolve the issue, but worked very efficiently. Our kitchen sink is now draining better than it ever has and they even gave us some tips to prevent something like this from happening again in the future. We were surprised by how affordable the invoice ended up being, MUCH lower than a quote we received from a big company in the area. This small, local, plumbing service has our recommendation.

    I was having drain issues with rain water. Gutter downspouts at drain were overflowing during rain storm. Superior Plumbing was recommended to me. The technician who came to my house to assess the situation was knowledgeable and we decided on a plan of action which was hydro jetting the line. The technician then retrieved the hydro jetting equipment and did the drain cleaning. Upon completion a dye was put in the gutter downspout along with water running from the hose. We knew the drain line was cleaned out when the dye colored water appeared at the storm drain by the street.

    I had a hard time finding a company that deals with septic systems that was big enough to install a brand new leach field, that wouldnt automatically push the most expensive unnecessary option on you (like trying to sell you an above ground leach field with a pump when our house sits on a hill with plenty of room downhill for a leach field), that also has a history of doing good work.I was so glad to have found Superior Plumbing. For starters, Caitlin in the office was very easy to work with. I cannot say enough good things about the two guys who installed the leach field, Garrett and Dustin - polite, hardworking, knowledgeable, and thorough. Our tank was set deeper than necessary so they had to dig everything else deeper than it was before. They took the time to make sure the job was done right. When they finished the project, they even scrubbed our driveway where the top soil was delivered. Thats a level of service you dont see very often. Our ground level laundry room used to have a stench of sewage because the tank was always backed up. Now its totally gone which is an indication that the new system is working well.
