Nick was the plumber that installed my irrigation back flow. He showed up on time and was very respectful. Not every contractor wears boot covers. Nick put his on every time he came in the house and took them off every time he walked you. His work looks great! Kala was also very helpful! She worked with me to plan to inspection with the city. With Street Plumbing, you don’t really have to do anything! All I had to do was tell Kala what time works for the inspection. Highly recommended and will use again if/when needed.

All my water shut offs were original in my condo. Built in 1982. Most of them did not work or were stuck. Nick with street plumbing arranged the water to be shut off and replaced all of them. Super efficient and clean. Did a great job and highly recommend. Will use again. Thanks street plumbing.

I recently had a plumber come out to inspect a leak. Over the phone, I was told they would provide an estimate before starting any work, and there would be a $75 fee for the visit. It turned out we needed a crooked gasket fixed with some silicone. Unfortunately, they didn’t provide an estimate before proceeding, so I assumed it wouldn’t cost anything since it seemed like a quick fix.In hindsight, that was my mistake for not clarifying. After the job, I was billed $200 in addition to the $75 visit fee. When I called to express my concerns, I was informed that their flat fee for such jobs is $200. To their credit, they reduced the fee by $100, which I appreciated.I’m giving five stars because the representative I spoke with was understanding, took the time to listen, and adjusted the bill. However, I want to remind others to always confirm pricing and avoid letting even simple jobs proceed without clarity on costs. In the end, I paid $100 for a silicone fix—an expensive lesson but ultimately my oversight for not asking them to wait.

Typically when you see so many 5 star reviews, you start to wonder…but these guys live up to their review status and then some! A month ago, our 3 year old water heater began to fail. Because they no longer sell that brand of water heater in MN, getting warranty work was impossible. We called every where for quotes and had estimates close to $4500 to replace. My final call was to Austin with Street Plumbing. They should have been my first call (and will be from now on!). Within a day of me receiving insurance payout for it, Austin had me on the schedule. The next day, Jason and Nate arrived to install. And in an hour and half, our new water heater was in and running! I didn’t talk much to Nate, but Jason really was extremely knowledgeable and even provided me with future tips on how avoid having the water heater fail again. Everyone I interacted with from beginning to end was amazing. 10 out of 10 I would recommend them to a friend or family member.

What a great experience with Nick and Mike. They arrived earlier than expected, which in our case was a great help! Diagnosed the problem, and replaced leaking pipe in no time. We’ve been working with several different Companies/Contractors getting my Moms house ready to sell. It was easy to see that Mike and Nick enjoy what that do. Not everyone does we have found. I actually had to tell them to stop cleaning up the few crumbs that had fallen around the pipe. Professional, friendly and tidy to boot! It was great experience all the way around. They replaced our hot water heater and water softener. They were great - punctual, friendly, competent. Organized with the city to get water shut off and then handled the permits/inspections and everything...made it very easy for me. They were a good value/honest as well - less expensive than the original quote we got from the people that our warranty place sent out. They pointed out something they might need to do (replace some other pipes), but turns out they didnt need to...a lot of times, when someone quotes you might need xyz, you usually do...so I was happy that wasnt needed (and they didnt try to upsell on that). Very happy.

He was on time and very friendly.

We’ve been finishing our basement without a contractor, which means we have messed up a dozen things or more. The highest praise I can give these guys, Nick especially who was here for all of it, is it did not bother them. They didn’t show up in bad moods, they instead gave me good advice and pointers on what the builder had done poorly that would need remedied, they show up so quickly, their office responds to emails and questions even more quickly. Very good fortune a friend put us onto the company a few years ago. We will only be calling them as long as we live in the area.

I’m very pleased with service company, they return communication timely, the plumber who came to the house found the issue, explained issue in terms a non-plumbing person understands. Their office schedule my installation of a new toilet, the price was good, explained if the flange was damaged it would have to be replaced there was additional cost, my billing amount matched the quote. Received text plumber was on his way, arrived timely, started work, very professional, cleaned up at each stage of the installation. I will be using them again.

Street Plumbing has helped me so much. The day before Christmas they coordinated with the city of Apple Valley to replace the leaking main valve in the basement. I was so stressed and Austin and Tom were so kind. Last Thursday Nick W. came out to replace two shut off valves in the basement to the outside hose faucets and replace the laundry tub faucet. So much easier for me now with winter coming. Nick was great and so friendly—listened to my concerns. He got right to work and was done within the hour. I had three quotes for replacing my outside faucet and shut off value in my basement. Two other plumbers declined the job because it meant cutting into my basement wall. Street Plumbing accepted the job using two pictures I sent them. Nick came out the next day and did the work in less than an hour and I couldnt be more pleased. His cut in my sheetrock was so clean that I repaired it with little effort and Im no sheetrocker. I now have a plumbing company that I trust. Count me as yet another Street Plumbing fan! They deserve each and every one of the five stars I have given them and if I could give them more, I would do so.We had a broken pipe and they came out right away and fixed it. Emergency averted. Then we had a bathtub that drained slowly. Two previous plumbers couldnt fix it. Street Plumbing had it taken care of in less than an hour. Obviously fixing the plumbing problems was the objective, but they took it one step further and thoroughly cleaned up before they left. If you think that is standard practice among plumbers, let me assure you it is not.

My husband and I have a 40+ yr old home and the water supply line shut off valve is just as old. We became concerned that when we leave home for lengthy periods and attempt to shut off the water for protection that this valve may not function. We called the city water and sewer maintenance staff to have them shut down our curb box water supply valve so my husband could replace this shut off valve, but they were unsuccessful getting the curb box valve to shut off. Short of shutting down the main water supply to the whole neighborhood, the only way to shut off water to our home to replace this old questionable shut off valve was to have a plumbing company come out and freeze the supply line water long enough to replace the valve. Street Plumbing sent Jason out with a refrigeration unit to accomplish the task. He was very timely, professional, conscientious and easy to talk and work with. He has a very open and genuine personality along with a high level of expertise. The job went off without an issue and Jason installed the new valve and he also made a few minor helpful modifications. We normally do all of our home repairs including plumbing but this freezing of the supply line was beyond our capabilities. We are delighted with the work Jason did and we would not hesitate to contract with Street Plumbing in the future if something similar developed, especially of they sent out Jason again. We highly recommend the services of Street Plumbing to anyone in their service area for plumbing issues or needs.

We needed to have our sprinkler backflow preventer valve replaced and a new shut off valve replaced so we wouldnt freeze our backflow this winter. Jason was terrific. There was an issue with the first water heater that got delivered and installed but they were able to get another within an hour and reinstalled the new one and verified it was working properly before leaving. Tom came in to help investigate a leak in our basement and helped replace a part of our sump pump and found that the pipe from the outside had not been properly installed and fixed that for us too. We recently renovated the 2 1/2 bathrooms in our home, and our contractor chose Street Plumbing to do the plumbing work. The projects included an expansion and complete re-plumbing of the master bath with installation of all new fixtures, and installation of all new plumbing and fixtures in the other two baths. Austin and his staff did an excellent job for us... they were on-time, thorough, polite, and went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied with the work being done. They communicated well, and did a good job of coordinating with city inspectors as the project progressed. Weve since used Street Plumbing for an additional project, and will do so again if needed. Id highly recommend Austin Peterson and his crew for your plumbing needs.

You do not need to be skeptical of the 5 star reviews. Street Plumbing is a great plumbing company. We discovered a leak in an old metal drain pipe. We sent a photo to Street Plumbing and they provided an estimate over the phone. Their schedule was a little backed up (ignore the pun), so we called a big local repair company (the type with commercials on TV and lots of marketing overhead) and they stopped by (a day later than promised). The big company took a look at the pipe, and then proceeded to upsell a water heater, water softener, and other work that wasnt necessary. After watching them test the water, and do a presentation trying to sell us unnecessary appliances, the bid for the repair was three times higher than Street Plumbing quoted, and the plumber also said it would cost more since they have higher overhead.... Decided to wait for Street Plumbing to stop by the following week. So glad we did!Jade came over and the job ended up being bigger than what they could see from the photo. We ended up paying a fair price which was more than the initial estimate, but well below what the bigger company quoted. Jade did the bulk of the work, and Jason stopped by to give him a hand with the big pipe, and provide advice. Both were very personable, respectful and, most important, skillful at what they do. Street Plumbing will be our go to plumber.

My water heater died on a Thursday evening. I didn’t want to go through the weekend without hot water nor pay weekend rates. Called street Friday morning and was told they could be here in 20 minutes. I sent pictures and my requirement. The best part is Isaac was done and cleaned up by noon. To be honest they had canceled a planned job that morning as parts were delayed. I have used Street before and find their work quality the finest. I believe their charge is a good value. I will continue to use them and recommend them to friends!

When a major leak arises in your home, its never a good time! We immediately had called street plumbing from a friend referral. They had sent a gentleman out by the name of Tom We have had a few other plumbers in our home before for unrelated issues and Tom has been the absolute best plumber we have ever worked with. He was knowledgeable, friendly and even interacted with our young child, which was very important to us to make us more comfortable with the entire unfortunate situation we were experiencing. We will be using street moving forward if we ever need again, we will always request to work with Tom in the future! We bought a home and found that an essential outdoor spigot was not working. The service tech, Jade, found the water line and the shutoff valve in a ceiling that a contractor had covered with sheet rock. He cut a neat access hole that revealed the hidden shutoff valve on the first try, and confirmed that it was working. He cleaned up the area carefully. Also answered our questions about the main shutoff valve for the house. It was the best plumbing service we have had in 43 years of home ownership.

What can I say..except.. fantastic!.We are a small Assisted Living Facility based in Minnetonka. With COVID-19 and our residents being the most vulnerable in the community, you need a company willing to come in and take all necessary precautions to keep both the residents and themselves safe..... thats Street Plumbing!Our first interactions with Austin and Street Plumbing was for emergency after a shower leak. They came and resolved it very quickly!.So, when we needed some additional work done at the facility.. they were our first choice... I contacted Austin, and described the work that was required, we needed a new shower value, 2 toilets replaced, new faucets and some waste pipe rework.. All he needed were some photos to understand what needed to be ordered. He then sent Isaac to take care of the works, he took time to understand how to work in an environment where people with dementia live and how to interact with them. He took all of it on board, when moving around the facility he acknowledge the residents as they would walk by him, so the residents were not worried with a so called stranger in their house.They completed the work slowly over a couple of week, this worked for us as the noise and the movements around the home were minimized so as not to put undue stress on the residents.... Perfect!I would definitely recommend Street Plumbing to others, and have done so already to other small Assisted Living Facilities near us for when they need a plumber.Austin, I thank you and your team for your professionalism and customer focused service.

We came to Minnesota on 05/17/2021 to visit family, upon arrival, as we were opening the house up from the winter we ended up with a major flood. Water was pouring down from the lower level ceiling from light fixtures, vents, etc. We turned off the water and called Street Plumbing, who said they would send a plumber out within 20 minutes, as well as setting up an appointment for Restoration Services to come clean up the mess. Their Representative, Jason, arrived within 15 minutes and worked quickly to assess the damage. He stated that while he didnt have the parts to fix it that evening because it is copper piping, he would come back the next morning. On 05/18/2021, he and his work partner, Aaron, arrived at 7:30 a.m. and began fixing the pipes that had busted during the winter freeze. After the pipes that busted were repaired and we started turning the water back on, it was discovered that some of the pipes in the laundry room had corroded, there was another leak in the pipes under the kitchen sink, the kitchen faucet was broken, the toilet was clogged in one of the bathrooms, and the shower head in one of the bathrooms had cracked and broken. We contacted our family who owns the house, and it was determined that the best course of action would be to replace the corroded pipes, the kitchen faucet, and the shower head after the kitchen pipe leak was repaired. Both gentlemen worked quickly and were informative as well as thorough through the entire process, never once complaining about the amount of work that was needed. They were extremely understanding of our situation, and did their best to ease our minds about the entire situation. We highly recommend this company for all of your plumbing needs! We spoke with the owner of the company, Austin, to express our gratitude who was highly professional and customer service oriented. He stated that they try to provide the best service possible for every customer. What his company and employees did was above and beyond what weve ever experienced from a commercial company.

Jeremy helpfully re-packed the new garbage disposal I’d bought back into its box for me, just like it arrived—so now all I have to do is return it to Amazon. The team at Street Plumbing is amazing - these guys really care about their customers. I cannot speak highly enough about Anthony, who dropped everything to come to my home and take care of my hot water heater. He was polite, professional, and a true master of his craft. He had it back up and running right away - which saved us as we had people coming in for the holidays and we had just moved in! While he was at our home, I asked if he could advise me on putting in a custom tub, and it was clear he was looking for the least expensive way to get the job done instead of how to profit from it. My dad was a plumber and I know the tricks used to up/pad a price. These guys are honest and committed to their customers. Thanks Anthony!!!

What a find! I almost dont want to share how amazing their service was, in fear they will get too busy! I had an emergent situation with a water heater that I discovered last night at about 7pm. By 2:30 today, I am back up and running. Austin showed up when he said he would and did exactly what was necessary to get my house ready to go up for sale. And my bill just arrived for the exact amount he quoted me. You cant go wrong here-he will be my plumber going forward.
