We would give this company 10+ stars, if we could. They were the fastest company to get to our Condo. Had water soaking into our hallway carpet. Alex, is part of the HUGE branch. He explained each step he was going to do ahead of time. Thank goodness it was a really clogged pipe. He also did a tune up. Extremely nice, business like manner. Did not try n sell us anything we didnt need. Much appreciated!! This is the company that we will call in the future! Highly recommend!! Thanks again!

Awoke at 8 am to water spilling from our 9 year old water heater. Called Ber’s and after some troubleshooting decided it was time for a new unit. Ber’s not only had the heater in stock but was able to schedule installation that same afternoon. Brandon arrived on time and quickly got to work removing the old unit and installing the new one. He was organized, worked clean, and was efficient. The entire job, including cleanup, was done in 3 hours. Very impressed with this entire company. Thanks for the great work and customer service.

Old A.O. Smith Hot Water Heater went out by leaking slightly at 3am Monday. They came out and spoke to Warranty Company and got approval. By Tuesday 4pm was back in business with a new Rheem model. Staff is courteous, professional & friendly. Will be a return customer because of this first impression. Pardon the Cardboard on the furnace in the picture, as we have very investigational cats that need deterrents. 5 stars for Plumbing.A few weeks later the Central A/C stopped working, one visit, a composite kludge capacitor later, and back in business. There wasnt a proper one on truck. They came back another day and replaced with proper cap from stock, when was convenient for them. Not a problem, we were cooling. The replacement would be 5 minutes and we wouldnt notice the downtime. Still 5 stars, now including a second division, HVAC.

Excellent service. Brandon came out to do a routine cleaning if our furnace. When I told him we were having an issue with it not always coming on through the night he was able to diagnose the issue and correct it! So far everything is working as it should. He was pleasant, professional, and very knowledgeable. Shortly after he left, I received a call asking how my service was. This person was also very pleasant and knowledgeable. I will definately use Ber’s again.

BERS replaced my furnace in October of 2018 after it almost caught fire. They within a few days and replaced the entire thing, very little dirt and dust, it was all done much quicker than expected and the price was alright.The furnace was service under warranty the following year, everything was still great.I just had them over here last week for a regular checkup, plus they checked my fairly old A/C, everything is still good.The technician was very thorough, spent almost an hour here, therefore I find the price of $96 very reasonable.

They did a great job starting with the salesperson Jim. Because I was working with my home warranty company, the process was a pain and a few contractors disregarded me for that reason. Jim was very thorough during the sales process and reassured me he would do whatever was necessary to work with the warranty company. He followed through with his promise and even negotiated double the reimbursement from the warranty company than another contractor had. I know it was time consuming for him but he never complained. Two other contractors I had out previously, continually expressed their dislike for working with warranty companies. Although I understand the difficulty, I found their complaining very unprofessional.After the sales process I called Bers to compliment Jim and the owner himself called me back to tell me he was grateful for the feedback.The installation process was smooth, the communication was clear and timely. They were very clean, using tarps to cover their entire walkway throughout my house. The job site inside and out was left spotless. They completed the work sooner than projected. Overall it was a great experience and their price was right in line with the market.Bers came highly recommended to me and I highly recommend them.

Joe was extremely knowledgeable assisted us during the quote to determine the best water tank for or home and families need. Installation went smoothly even with some structural difficulty due to the age of the water heater and location in the home. Upon completion of the work the area was clean and easy for me to put everything back where it was before he arrived. Would recommend to others.

From sales to installation, nothing but quality, professional work. Josh and Mike laid down tarps from the front door through the hallway, down the stairs and across the basement to ensure none of my floors were damaged. They both made sure the area around the main unit and around the heat exchanger outside were as if they were never there. Very pleased with their work and attitudes. Very knowledgeable. Even came back the day after the installation to make sure both heating and cooling were good. Highly recommend BERS Heating and Cooling.

I cant say enough about this company and its staff. I am a disabled veteran and my furnace stopped working. I made a call and they did everything they could to work me in their busy schedule. Once the tech got into it he found that a bird had gotten into the furnace causing major problems. He suggested that the vent pipe be covered this would prevent this from happening again. I mentioned that I had chicken wire and he got it and enclosed the vent. I will be forever grateful to the technician for his help.

I originally called a different Heating Company. They came and brought the wrong Thermostats. They told me they would call me back and set up a time. They never contacted me again.Then a few days later, I got an ad from BERs and called them. They came out and gave me an estimate and set up a time for installation. They came on time and and replaced a couple and ran into trouble with the last 2. They sent multiple technicians and solved the problem. They are great to do business with.The Technicians are very polite, keep a clean work area and do a great job at explaining how to use the new equipment.I would highly recommend BERs to anyone that needs their services.Thank you for helping me.

While remodeling my kitchen I discovered one of the sink supply shutoff valves was broken. Called BERs on Monday and scheduled an appt for Friday. Daniel, the tech who came out, was great! He was on time, courteous, and explained everything thoroughly. He replaced both shutoff valves quickly. He pointed out a possible issue with my outdoor faucet shutoff, prices out my options and offered to do the work right then or a future appt. He did not pressure me which was great. Ultimately I chose to have that work done and am very happy with the results. I will contact BERs again if I need repairs in the future.

My wife and I had Bers assist us as we moved into our new home. They moved a bunch of existing lights around, installed some new lights/ceiling fans, and installed a utility tub in our basement. I was very happy with how responsive they were to my requests as we had fair pricing and an appointment set up quickly. Both of the workers (separate for electrical work vs. plumbing) were very nice guys and answered all of my questions with confidence.We are thrilled with their work and would recommend them to anyone!

Wonderful service!! I won’t go anywhere else for my home improvement needs. They replaced two of my furnaces in past houses and the jobs were so well done that I came back to them for my third home. Recently, they installed an entire boiler/heating system that had multiple heated zones. It was a mammoth job that took 3 days as their work was immaculate! I often just stare at it as it looks season, even pretty with all the shiny copper. Lol. I also had this company come back to replace a faucet and fix a drain and replace the main water line on my house as it was so corroded it had already cracked and was about to blow. Joe saved me by noticing this and replacing it. Thank goodness for him as my home could have flooded if it wasn’t replaced. I recommend this company fully. I am grateful that they work with Wells Fargo as I was able to get a 0% APR for 18 months. If you’re shopping fir home improvements…. Call Bers as they do so many things that you may not need to use several different contractors. A++

I had called around to have some electrical work done at the house. 90% of the contractors I called neither answered nor responded to my request. Bers not only answered their phone, they had a technician, Mario, at my house the following day.Mario called ahead of the appointment to let me know if he was running ahead or behind; he was able to show up early. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He completed the work very efficiently and cleaned up when he was done! If Bers hires technicians, plumbers, electricians, HVAC installers, etc. like Mario, they are my go to service! Great job Bers!

My A/C Died in the height of the season, I of coarse got 3 estimates. They were very reasonable in price with exceptional quality of installation. They were quick to schedule an estimate, was not rushed, knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The installation was very efficient and pointed out future concerns I may need to pay attention to. THEY WERE PUNCTUAL, ACTUALLY EARLY!! I did have a small problem with a water drainage problem shortly after the install but when I call they were quick to come out and explain the cause and repair the problem. I would highly recommend Scott for any repairs. I do not hesitate to recommend the company and have transferred all my service calls and maintenance over for all my heating and A/A needs.

Called on a Friday with a plumbing problem in my bathroom and they set up an appointment within 3 hours and were right on time with one of their best employees Joe. Very friendly, showed me exactly what he was doing to thoroughly fix the issue better than it was before. Quoted the job before he started and completed it within an hour at a very reasonable price. I trust these folks for any HVAC, Plumbing fix you may need. Have not had an electrical issue yet but if I did, they would be my 1st call based on previous experience. Thumbs up!

Nate has a top tier level of experience in this and provided an exemplary solution. Billy was very helpful and courteous as well. I would DEFINITELY use them again. The owner was awesome - provided excellent information over the phone, clearly knew what he was talking about, and treated me with respect (not the condescension I received from some others while getting quotes). Their quote was the best, and the customer service and installation were top notch. I highly recommend them, and will be trying out their other service branches (electric, etc.), when needed.

I used Bers for the first time this spring to have my a/c cleaned and checked. He called and let me know when he was on his way, and arrived on time. He was very courteous and friendly. Bers was also one of the pre-approved contractors to get a rebate from First Energy. When he was finished with his service, he also gave me the paperwork to send in for my rebate. He had completed all areas for me, all I had to do was put in my personal info and sign. The entire process could not have gone any smoother. I plan on using them again in the near future for all my heating and cooling needs.

I was vary happy with Ber’s. The installed a new furnace and air conditioning for me. They sent a big enough crew out that they could pull the old furnace (twice the size of the new one) out and do the full install in one day. The install look nice and clean and professional as it should. After six weeks or more the new Amana unit keeps my house cool and comfortable thoughout. And runs cheaper on the electric bill than me running two window air conditioners. All said and done I am vary happy I went with Ber’s.

My aunt referred me to Behr and I am so grateful that she did. My heat went out on a Saturday after a big snowstorm (no relation, just a really old unit) I was terrified that my pipes would freeze. I spoke with the tech Justin that was on call and he talked me through some potential issues. He ended up being the repair tech when he came out the following Tuesday, today. He was so polite, friendly and knowledgeable. He made the necessary repairs and left me feeling like there are still really good people in the world who won’t try to screw you when your vulnerable. I had just moved in to our new house and was having a minor issue with the 2 year old furnace that was installed by Bers. After calling the company I have used for the last 4 years and hearing how much money it was going to cost me in trip charges, and possible labor I decided to call Bers. I was told the previous owner had purchased an extended warranty and they would transfer it to me. Not only was I blown away by the honesty of the owner (who could have easily not mentioned the warranty) but also I was blown away by the courtesy and professionalism displayed by my service tech Scott. BERS was recommended to us by our neighbors, so we had them out for furnace inspection with the expectation that we would need to replace our A/C, as it has had issues cooling the house on hot summer days. The HVAC tech also recommended that we consider replacing our furnace, as it was at the end of its life expectancy, so he gave a us a quote for replacing both (Amana 2-stage gas furnace & Amana 4 ton 13 SER A/C unit). We agreed to go forward, and scheduled a date in Dec. 2018 for the work. The two units were installed in a single day and the crew left the work area in excellent condition. To date, we have been very happy with the furnace performance and look forward to using the A/C this summer. BERS also offers a 12 month, same as cash, payment option through Wells Fargo, which we used. I also found that BERS had the expertise to install two new ceiling fans for us in rooms with high ceiling, which they also completed efficiently in Dec. 2018.

Bers has always done good by us. We recently experienced a partial outage due to a leg of power going bad in the power co buried cable and related or not, dont yet know, arcing in our power panel due to a faulty Clines Hausfield panel and main breaker which nearly caused a fire. Mario and Brandon at Bers get 5 out of 5 from us. Cant say the same for the Ohio Illuminating Co. as even though they connected whats called a service helper photo attached, basically a power conditioner and transformer to get 120v on both legs again its only rated at 100 amps, not enough to power electric heat pump system and theres only 1of these in the service area that will provide the 200 amps required and its location is unknown. Ohio Illuminating did locate the fault under a neighbors driveway and has to be a repaired at their cost its likely at their leis as well then. Meanwhile for the indeterminate time we only have half our required service and waiting for power o be fully restored.Its only due to Mario at Bers who performed an emergency fix/workaround that, after 5 days out of power, by Mario we were able to backup our wood burner with space heaters but were still going on 9 days of heating with only our backup wood burner and space heaters. Mario replaced our service panel yesterday, excellent work and thanks to Bers for expediting and any customers who had to have work rescheduled as we do now have partial power and some heat from the heat pump possible now but we cant run anything else if used and temps drop below 30 degrees F and require the auxiliary heat we have to turn off all other breakers and reverse these steps when the house is warmed up a bit.Appears we wont be fully restored until Ohio Illuminating fixes their buried cable or finds the 1 service helper that can provide the 200 amps we had b4 the outage (due to storm and winds) and subsequent failure in our service panel.And whats pathetic about it all is I have health concerns and am supposed to be on Ohio lIlluminating Co priority list for restoration of power when an outage occurs. Yeah right. PUCO what good are you, not doing anything for the consumer thats for sure.
