Had new electric lines pulled for a hot tub. Had to keep rescheduling because of delays on my end. They were very polite and understanding. Joe and Jason came and did the install and were very professional. They went above and beyond by helping troubleshoot when my tub wasn’t priming correctly. I highly recommend Skylane Electric. Will definitely use them again when I need more work done.

When my power went out at 10:30 at night I was thankful to have called Skylane and speak with Joe. We discussed the various options regarding an emergency visit or waiting until the next day. Joe was informative and clearly explained my options. We decided to have him take a look at my panel that evening (which is where the problem was) and he came out within 30 minutes, got my power back on and charged a very reasonable amount for an emergency repair. I recommend if you need an electrician that you definitely give Sklylane a call.

We needed gas & electric installation for a backyard pool and we had an exceptional experience from start to finish - job quoting with Joe Sr, expectations and scheduling with Christa, and Joe Jr and the crew were fantastic through installation. Great quality, personalized service at competitive cost. Particular kudos to Joe Jr for the pool tips and patiently walking this newbie through the installation process. These guys are awesome!

Had a tree comedown that ripped the entire electrical service off the side of my house. Weather head, meter box, and even ripped the main lugs out of the panel in the basement. All at 5:30 in the morning. Needless to say I was in a pretty bad spot. Started calling all around to find an electrical contractor. Labor market is super tight right now. Most electrical contractors have work backlogs that are months long. Several I contacted straight up told me it would be weeks before they could even take a look. The wonderful lady I spoke with at Skylane (believe her name was Christa) worked to try and move some of their lower priority jobs and get a crew out to me that day. By 9:30 AM they were in my driveway and assessing the damage and working with First Energy to coordinate a plan. Even with very tight supply chains and materials shortages, they were able to get me a new 200 A meter box, weather head, and a brand new panel ALL INSTALLED THAT DAY.Joe B and Jared K worked their butts off for 12 hours straight from 9 AM (after coming from another job site!) to 9 PM to get power to my home restored that day. They even took the time after all that work to go around the house and properly label each circuit on the new panel at 8:30 at night.Cant recommend Skylane enough. Really saved me and my family from having to sit in the dark for potentially days or weeks on end. Thank you!

We have used Skylane Electric for many services to our household. No matter how big or small of a job they quote us fair and with no surprises. They explain each job, take their time to answer any questions and exceed a professional attitude. We have used Skylane Electric for things as small as outlet replacements to a full pool heater install. They call ahead, stick to their timeline and always keep us updated on the progress of a job. Also, as people who have had contractors for other home improvement services we have to add the cleanliness. We have NEVER had to clean up after the workers at Skylane Electric. Was very professional Joe Sr. came out same day and diagnosed the problem, and offered recommendations. The final decision was the panel was failing and needed to be replaced. Joe Sr. explained everything as he was going through the electrical problems. The job was big and we had no power. They scheduled us right away for the following day, Joe even offered a payment program that sounded awesome through First Energy even though their pricing was very reasonable and competitive. Joe jr was the exact same very professional and explained everything he was doing. I highly recommend Skylane and their work.

If I could give them 10 stars I would. Joey installed a replacement lamppost , replacement coach lights, and a replacement porch light for me. My house is 32 years old so he had to integrate the old with the new. Everything was very well done,is working beautifully, and has spruced up my curb appeal. He was on time for both jobs and totally cleaned up after the work was finished. On top of all of that, he was a pleasure to work with. Krista in the office was very pleasant and professional to work with setting up the appointments to my schedule and getting estimates to me in a very timely fashion. So thankful for Skylane electric! They were SO Kind and helpful. I needed the electrical done on a pool heater. They squeezed me in even when I had to reschedule because the pool company kept delaying delivery. They were quick, helpful, friendly, professional and did a wonderful job! Highly recommend!

Skylane Electric was referred to me by the Illuminating Company. Since then, I have used them for several tasks including burying overhead lines in my backyard, replacing my electrical panel with an upgrade, running underground wire for a hot tub and removing wall outlets for remodeling projects. I am happy with all of the work performed and will not hesitate to use them for any future projects. I highly recommend Skylane Electric.

On October 4, we experienced a partial power outage due to failure of the UG (underground) power cables to our house. First we had to wait for First Energy to confirm where the fault occurred, so we werent able to call a local contractor until the next day, a Monday. A friend referred me to Skylane Electric, so I reached out to them first thing Monday morning. They called back, I explained what happened and they promised to send someone out that day. At 1:30 PM, Skylane arrived and began working immediately. They found the problem and by 6:00 PM that evening, our service was restored. They are simply a great firm to work with. The Bovenzis, Joe, Sr., and Joe, Jr., demonstrated first-class workmanship, great value and integrity, and worked hard to restore our service. They are the at the top of our list of electrical contractors to call for any type of home electrical repair service.

Joe and Jason did an excellent job of repairing my electric meter that was damaged due to recent storm. They responded very quickly to my call as I had no power and needed the repairs done in order to get my electricity restored. Their professionalism and quality of work was outstanding. Joe came out to replace my ceiling fan with a new one. He realized something wasnt right with the wiring when the fan wouldnt turn on. He found that another electrician didnt wire something correctly. We went into the attic to track down the problem. He found the problem which could have caused a fire and corrected it. He went above and beyond to make things right and safe. He explained what the problem was and how he was going to fix it. He took pictures of the problem in the attic so I could see what he was talking about and took pictures of the repair to show me what he had done. He also answered questions about replacing some outlets and what my options were. I am so gratefuI. I would use this company again.

I needed someone to come out same day due to some electrical issues. This was the second company to call me back, twice! I thought I had the situation under control but had to call them a second time to have them come out. I told them that I would be home around 2:30 and they were here before 3 PM. I wish I would’ve gotten her name but the lady I spoke with on the phone who called me back both times was so sweet and helpful. It seemed like she actually cared. Joe and Jared came out and spent a good amount of time trying to find the issue and we’re very professional and sincere. My husband was out of town for business and these guys did not try to charge me for things I necessarily didn’t need. And the fact that they came to Brunswick when they were traveling from Akron and Cleveland just really shows that they are committed to their customers needs.

I cannot say enough good things about Skylane Electric. I purchased an above ground pool and was referred to them for the work required to add an outlet in the yard for the pool pump. It was a big project- much bigger than I realized at the time of purchasing the pool- and from the start their communication and explanation of the work required was excellent and they were very responsive from start to finish- which sometimes can be so difficult depending on the company you are working with. They not only handled all aspects of the electric- but were able to completely coordinate everything needed for the gas work required for the pool heater using plumbing companies they work with. This made my life MUCH easier- as I only had to work with one company instead of seeking out a separate plumber. This included the pulling of required city permits and coordination of the final city inspections. The crew that came to my house was timely, polite, helpful- and did a great job to preserve my landscape considering the trench that had to be cleared for the underline electric and gas lines was over 100 feet long. I would highly recommend Skylane Electric for any and all of your electrical needs- they truly went above and beyond on the project they completed for me!
