This is our 2nd time having Gino out to do some work for us. He replaced 3 outdoor lights and put in an outdoor outlet near our back patio. He showed up exactly when promised, and the job was finished exceeding all our expectations once again & everything looks great. He’s professional, friendly, and does the work at a very reasonable cost. We already discussed some future work we’d like him to do, and would highly recommend his services.

I recently purchased a portable generator to power a portion of our house during a power outage. After watching several YouTube videos, I was leaning toward having an electrician install a manual transfer switch.I did a search for local electricians, had several visit, and then compared their quotes. I selected Gino because he understood what I was looking for, provided recommendations based on his experience, and his quote was very fair / balanced with his knowledge of what needed to be done. Others could come sooner, but I was willing to wait based on his professional demeanor.Gino arrived on the decided upon date / time. We then reviewed the scope of work and verified what circuits would be wired to the new manual transfer switch. Gino then began his effort, which included:- Installing a 50-amp outlet in the garage (for the portable generator)- Installing the new manual transfer switch next to the existing circuit panel- Installing a 50-amp power cord connecting the new outlet and the manual transfer switch- Connecting the wiring of the target circuits to the new manual transfer switch- Providing a write up of the final circuity for my referenceDuring his time at our house, Gino was very professional and courteous. For each stage, he took time to review his plan of work and after he was finished – showed me the result. When he was done, he then reviewed the full scope of work - and then I tested it with my new portable generator. Everything worked as expected – with the targeted circuits being powered via his new wiring.I would highly recommend Gino if you need this type of work to be done.

Gino is a true pro. He returned on three occasions to get to the bottom of the problem and wasn’t satisfied until he had fixed it. Other electricians had charged me trip charges and had not been able to correct the wiring issue at the main panel that was preventing my post light from coming on at dusk. Gino is experienced and knowledgeable and can be trusted with your repair and will complete the work correctly and in a cost effective way. Hire him without hesitation.

Gino did extensive work wiring our basement with electrical outlets, lighting and switches-everything was done perfectly up to code. It made a huge difference. At another time he did outside lighting for security purposes as well as replacing outlets and other various switches in the house that needed repair. He recently replaced an old themastat with a new state of the art Wi-Fi model and relocated it in our house to a much better location than the old one was in. He works quickly and professionally. We have had him here 4 times and have complete confidence in his work.

He had an earlier date open up so he was able to come sooner than expected. He arrived on time, was friendly and professional. Found the problem in the wiring in the attic. He repaired the wiring and was in and out in less than 2 hours. The price was fair and I will call Gino for any electrical issues in the future.

My wife and I had work done by Ginos Electric in 2024 and were extremely happy with everything. This past year we had the electrical work done/ conduit work done for a hot tub installation in January 2024 which included adding an additional electric panel in our basement that had to be added on top of current electrical panel and running the wiring to the hot tub. We also recently had outdoor pavilion electrical work done with our patio in July 2024 with a fan and outlets installed and the wiring / outlets were a little tricky, but Gino himself figured it out and we are very pleased with the set up. Ginos electric is very prompt, courteous, friendly, on time, communicates well and they know their stuff! Would highly recommend using Ginos electric for any electrical work you need done! We consider Ginos electric our resident electrician and would use no one else, but Ginos electric.

The day started badly when a teen plugged an old radio into an outlet and turned it on. It sparked and melted parts of the radio. It turned out to be a good day when I found Electrician Gino Surace’s reviews online and called him. He came out the same day, repaired the outlet, and checked out 4 other outlets ensuring that they were working safely.Gino’s charges are fair, and his work is good. Based on this I asked him to estimate installing an outlet in the garage for the recently replaced garage door opener and fix a broken bathroom fan, and closet light fixture. His estimates were fair, and he returned a second time. Unfortunately, the old fan needed a part that was not in stock which meant a third trip.Mr. Serace was on time for all appointments, completed all the work efficiently and for a fair price. I plan to contact him again any time I need the expertise of an Electrician and Highly Recommend him.

Okay people… I’m Type A to the hilt and I HATE spending money. BUT I have been having issues in my 1979 built house. Gino listened to my concerns and addressed them. He gave me a MORE than fair quote. (I got several) He came out when he said he would. He answered every question I had in a timely fashion. His communication was A+++. AND now I can use all of the outlets in my house without issue. I finally have a whole house shut off. He was flexible when day-of issues popped up and you guys, he remembered my cats and was very respectful of my worry for them being kept in and out of certain places despite my absence. RUN, do not walk, to this guy, seriously. And NO, I was not paid to give this review.

Gino is amazing find in every regard. I asked Gino to retrofit bathroom exhaust fans of different sizes, repair a couple of outlets, and run 3 new CAT6 lines and I was super impressed (and I dont impress easily) with Ginos professional competencies, communication skills, and thoroughness. You can just tell he really knows what he is doing, cares about his work, and he exceeded my expectations (and I have high expectations for contractors) on every level. Moreover, when I was trying to figure out a connectivity issue that had nothing to do with his work, but I just wanted to double-check and get his opinion, he had already left the area, it was 2 hours past the end of the business day and he was out doing estimates, he still offered to drive back to my home to help me figure it out if needed, which I didnt need, but the fact he was willing to do that is incredibly rare in business, let alone at 7pm on a weeknight. This tells me that he truly cares about his work and his clients. Plus, he was so easy to talk to and converse with. I would have him 10 stars if I could. Thanks Gino - I am grateful for you and your expertise.2/24/2024 Update: I recently had Gino back for more work: fixing previous electrical work that wasnt done correctly and/or didnt work for the intended use/functionality, so Ginos troubleshooting skills are simply exceptional. He also moved the electrical box for a ceiling chandelier so it was better centered for the space, swapped out 2 accent lighting fixtures over a fireplace, installed a new exterior GFCI outlet, troubleshot some other issues, installed a new outlet for a home office and assessed and improved behind the wall wiring so no wiring showing for wall mounted TVs and redid the electrical so it was both functional and correct. Gino is an absolute gem of a person, quick, efficient, and super competent.

I bought my old Lakewood house in 2016 and knew that I needed to find a good electrician. Prior to finding him my search of HIGHLY reviewed electricians was very disappointing. We were in the garage and he pointed out the Federal Pacific panel that was in there. He said he was not trying to scare me, but that should be prioritized first. I cannot believe the inspector missed that. The company went out of business because of the fires those caused (look it up). Gino made time during a busy week to our home later on the same day we called. I know this is rare for any electrician or professional. We had a rather complex GFI problem in that our older home had a very spaghetti like wiring for our bathroom outlets (stretching upstairs to down and even to our garage). Gino found the problem quickly but then he traced the wiring of the outlets room by room in order to further trouble shoot and fix our problem. It is now fixed My wife and I were very impressed and happy with how thorough he was. I read other reviews about Gino and they read he knows his stuff. Yes, we agree.
