    Excellent work by Hollander Electric at my home. Pricing was fair, and worth is based on their expertise. They upgraded my main panel to 200A and bought it up to code. They also upgraded one of my subpanels. They were super knowledgeable, professional and know what theyre doing. I also had them run an outlet to the backyard for a TV. Unexpectedly, they installed a surge protection device in my main at no additional cost which is much appreciated. Id hire them again.

    I highly recommend using Hollander Electric! About a month ago I had electric work done at my business. This company went above and beyond explaining the different steps they were going to do with my room and what needs to be done next year. The job was done on time as quoted. Josh also does HVAC and all I know is my business has never been as comfortable air conditioning wise. 10/10 can’t to use this company next year for another room in the business.

    I had an issue with a power going out on several receptacles in my house following rain. Josh came out and checked the whole circuit and ended up repairing both of my outside receptacles. He kept me updated as he made progress. Im very happy with the service level.

    Josh was awesome to work with! I moved into a condo in October and wanted to get a bunch of work done (install ceiling fans, recess lights, oven hood vent, chandelier, bathroom ceiling fan, etc). He did not push us to get things we didnt want and the quote he gave us was very reasonable to the amount of work being done. On the day of installation, Josh and Toby arrived around 9am and stayed all day to complete the work. They patched the holes in the ceiling which were made to run wires and didnt leave any mess behind. Josh even caught a safety hazard in our attic that the home inspector missed. After working with them, I wouldnt go with any other electrician.

    Hollander Electric recently installed my Cummins home generator. I cannot recommended them more highly! Steve and Toby, as well as the whole crew were very professional and responsive to all my needs. I was so impressed with their service I had them change out all my antiquated smoke detectors as well. Rarely do you find a contractor who shows up on time and keeps you informed at all stages of your installation.Thanks Steve and Toby for a job well done!

    I hired Hollander Electric to rewire the equipment pad for an outdoor pool and spa as well as wire a new automation system. When the pool company came to open the pool, they commented on how impressed they were with the electrical work. They said in all their years of opening pools, they had never seen such fine electrical work, and that it was an awesome job. Thank you Hollander Electric and Toby for taking such pride in your work.     I would highly recommend Hollander Electric. They did an excellent job installing recessed lighting and a chandelier in my kitchen. The quoted amount was the same amount that I was charged. Toby kept the area very clean and made sure that I was kept updated on any changes to the original plans and would also give updates on the status of his work. Toby was extremely patient with questions from my friend and I. Hes very well skilled, professional but most of all honest and reliable. Steve was very responsive and accomodating with my schedule. Overall a great company to work with.

    I was in the middle of a bathroom remodeling and the installer discovered a hidden electric box. I called Hollander Electric as they had done a smaller job for me earlier this past summer. Even though they said they were pretty much booked up, they rearranged their staff to accommodate me. The technician, Josh, did a great job to my satisfaction. Although a bit more expensive than I had anticipated, I was happy to have an experienced person take care of my problem within 2 hours of my calling them. I would definitely recommend their services to my friends, family and I will definitely request their services again should I need anything else done.

    Excellent workmanship.First, let me say the service response time by Hollander Electric was great after reaching out to Hollander Electric at 10:00 pm to address an ongoing electrical issue at my home.I was contacted first thing the following morning and given a timeline when the electrician would be over. Toby Hollander came to my home, diagnosed the cause of the electrical issue, pointed out the defective breakers and replace them.     Very thorough, very honest!! Hollander was recommended to us 3 years ago, and we continue to call them for all of our electric needs and concerns.     I called Steve the owner when we lost power through half our house and he talked me through diagnosing what the problem was and that it was likely a utility company issue (which it was), and that we didnt need his services at that time. We were in need of a panel upgrade and so I contacted Steve later and he was able to come out right away to give us an estimate and to discuss some additional things we wanted put in. When the day came they were very professional and got the job done correctly and up to code as checked by the town inspector. If youre looking for a great local electrician who knows his stuff, answers his own phone, develops a detailed quote before work starts, and sticks to it, then Hollander Electric is your company.

    We have been using Hollander Electric for our electrical work at a commercial property. Steve had his team come by over the weekend to do emergency work. Toby and Scott are hard-working and honest men that will shoot straight with you every-time. They do not cut corners, and do not leave until the job is done.     Found out at 9am on a hot day that the AC on my mothers estate was not up to code. We needed it brought up to code and file a permit with North Brunswick Township by the end of the day so we could close on the property we were selling. After calling several businesses and being told they could not help us I call Hollander. Steve Hollander answered the phone, I explained our dilemma and he immediately understood. Township offices had been closed for months due to covid19 and getting a CO so you could close on a sale was very frustrating. He told me they had a busy day of scheduled work but he would get his crew out to my mom’s house and get the AC up to code and fill out the permit we needed by days end. His crew showed up on time and found there was more to the job then anticipated. They remained calm told me not to worry they will figure out a way to get it done. These guys were great they took a little time to come up with a plan and with a little improvising got the Job done. The whole time being as polite and professional as can be. Being a home owner for 35 years I’ve dealt with a lot of contractors by far this was my best experience. I followed the guys back to their garage and Steve came out with my permit filled out and stamped. I found out while telling him how happy I was with the service that his son was the crew chief on my job,.Great job Steve not only do you run an excellent business you raised a wonderful son!!! I will be using Hollander for all my AC Heating and electrical needs in future.

    It was a semi-emergency when my air conditioning broke down amidst a July heatwave. After learning it was due to an electrical issue, I called Hollander and they confirmed that they do work on both AC & electrical issues, which is what I was looking for.I called at 4pm on a Friday knowing it was late, and I figured Id be without AC for at least a day or two. I was willing to pay the extra cost for expedited service for them to come tomorrow. An hour or so later, they called me back and asked if I wanted them to come TONIGHT for the repair. Of course I said yes!!Toby arrived promptly, diagnosed the issue quickly, and did a great job. I needed an old breaker to be replaced due to corrosion, and he gave my circuit breaker box a little bit of a tightening and tuning-up that it so desperately needed. Toby was great and I highly recommend both he and Hollander Electric. Their expedited service was wonderful and a lifesaver when I really needed it!

    I called Hollander Electric to put up two ceiling fans from scratch because I was fed up with having to light up the house with lamps. I didnt expect to get someone in the same day, but they showed up as promised. Toby and his helper were diligent and went beyond their work scope. These two were absolute sweethearts! Toby has plenty of knowledge regarding his field of work, but he also gave me valuable advise on other projects I was tackling at the time. I highly recommend this company! In fact, I just called them to do another project on Independence Day out of all days, and Steve picked up the phone. Hes going to see how soon he can get someone over on this holiday weekend.     We had a very positive experience with Hollander. Our heat wasn’t working on Thanksgiving (when it was 20 degrees). Steve answered the phone at 10:20pm and was able to get Toby to our house the following day by 1:30pm over a holiday weekend. Great customer service and our heat is working fine now. Will definitely be using them for future issues.

    Guys @ Hollander did a great job repairing my attic fan. They ran into some unforeseen issues, but they cut me a deal and fixed everything right. The work was done in a timely manner and the workers were polite and courteous. They are also open 24/7 for emergency work! If you need some electric work done, don’t call some shlub, call the professionals @ Hollander. I will utilize their service in the future.

    Excellent quality work, and they are very friendly and helpful. We just had them install a ceiling fan into a narrow, two-story high foyer, and they were able to get it in place, without any visible marks left by their ladder. The fan is on a 4 foot downrod, and it doesnt wobble at all when the fan is running (very balanced).Weve had Hollander do electrical work for us a couple of other times over the past several years, and the experience has always been the same: friendly service and high-quality work.

    A fantastic experience from start to finish! Reached out to me immediately about my needs and made sure to have them addressed as quickly as possible.     Two of my good friends had recommended Hollander to me. Im glad they did. They initially came to look at a short in the basement. Josh showed up within the promised time, he was super nice, and worked diligently to isolate (and then fix) the problem. He even ran out twice to get materials needed (versus saying I cant finish ... well have to make another appt). Josh then came back to fix the air conditioning. Same positive experience! They were able to give us options for repair and even stayed late to remove a tree and temporarily re-hang the service line before JCP&L came out to disconnect. They did what they said and more!     We were experiencing intermittent electrical service late Sunday night. We called around trying to find someone to come out and were having difficulty. Steve answered the phone immediately, was pleasant and was willing to come out late Sunday evening. He gave us great advice in order to save us money before having emergency service.     Toby was polite, friendly, knowledgeable and methodical. He arrived at my house knowing what needs to be fixed. He analyzed the problem and proceeded to tackle the tasks at hand.     Hollander Electric to the Rescue. About 2 weeks we had our stove light LED Time clock seem to fade in and out. Near by some outlets were not fully charing our phones. I decided to walk down to the basement and check on the Electrical Panel and could actually hear a sparkling like sound. I shut a few breaker and called Hollander. Josh came in about 2 hours notice and troubleshot the issue. He quickly showed me that water is getting into the panel from the outside service as a pvc Pipes connection to the meter had broken off leaving a 3 inch gap for water to get into. Josh advised me after talking to me about my electrical needs now and for the future and we decided it best to replace the panel ASAP and be ready for future expansion when I want more service for that electrical motor vehicle in the garage someday. They work was priced well, a clean and professional job was done, and most importantly they cam when they said they would and explained to me in detail all the work done . Highly Recommend them to anyone for a big or small job,

    I had a situation where I called 10 electricians from the internet only one picked up the phone at 7am on a weekend. As you could imagine it was an emergency as well as desperation. The owner of the company talked me through the situation and evaluated it with PSEG on the phone. Then he woke his son up and sent him over to my house.Their work was incredible as his son took his time and patience explaining my options and suggestions. He also took the time to talk to my neighbors (that are connected to the same bad box). Then came the time where the price gets quoted as you could imagine Im desperate so Im ready for some horrible price. The price was so fair on a weekend no advantage taken.This is a throwback company to a time where theres a person on the other end of your call not a machine. Where some companies say family owned they should model themselves after Hollander Electric and how they treat customers and go about their business.Thanks so much

    My company was in desperate need of an electrician immediately. I did a google search and came across Hollander Electrics FIVE STAR rating advertisement. One thing is for sure....they definitely deserve and live up to that FIVE STAR rating! I called late Tuesday afternoon and they were at our office fixing our lighting issues the very next morning. Toby was our technician. He was efficient and very informative about the products he replaced. On a scale of 1-10, I give them a 100!!!

    Unbelievable, I know theese guys since January. They were working at my apartment complex in freezing tempatures outside to get my neighbors boiler to work for hours and still managed to keep a friendly attitude. Shortly after that one of my outlets caught on fire (not their fault there was a bad connection)they redid all my outlets and made sure another one wouldnt catch fire again. Present day my a couple of my outlets stopped working the maintenance came an tried figure it out didnt know what it was so they called Hollander electric and Toby came in took a look at the panel and said it was most likely an old wire so he checked the one outlet in my room that was working to find a broken wire was out the door within 10 minutes with all my outlets working again. I would recomend this company to anyone and everyone in the area. Great customer service and they know what there doing.

    Hollander Electric came to the rescue when we roasted a circuit in our old house with the AC unit on the hottest day of the year. They fixed several outlets that looked like shotty DIY jobs by past homeowners. While we had to wait a week to get on the schedule for install of whole new outlet and separate circuit to run the AC on, they did recommend a helpful workaround for the week so we didnt sweat to death. Work was completed in one day and estimate was right on, which I always appreciate. BEST PART: I feel safe in my home again. No more burnt looking outlets or dangerous sparking boxes of mangled wiring in the basement that could cause electrical fires. Pls note: I waited a couple weeks before posting this to see if anything weird or odd happened. Nope, all works as expected so Im happy with the job and will be calling Steve again for future electrical help.

    A few days ago I contacted Hollander because I kept loosing power in part of my house Steve informed me that I had 2 grids in my home and I first should call JCP&L because it could possibly be their problem and didnt want to come out and charge me for something that is their job and also they will not charge me. It ended up being JCP&L problem. I called Hollander back and informed them that JCP&L fixed it and Thanked him for leading me in the right direction and not ripping me off because he could have just come out and charged me for something I could have done for nothing. Being that he was honest with me I will use him for future work in my home and also recommend them to others.

    The guys at Hollander Electric were on time and very communicative regarding the job. Everything from start to finish was met from the moment I signed on, getting details ready on the customer service side of things, till the moment they arrived and started working was flawless to say the least. When I asked when the job would be finished, they nailed it in a day. They removed my old 1950s 60 amp electrical Paneling system to a 200 amp system in less than 8 hours. And on top of that, the financing options were incredible. To be honest, the family owned business is a much better route.     Had a great experience with Hollander Electric. They were a reference from my neighbor. I had recessed lights installed (with Smart switches) in 3 rooms and one in a Bay window. I think they did an excellent job and am very happy with the lights. Steve Hollander (owner) and his Son were wonderful throughout the process, from providing a quote to completion of the project. Steve was very responsive to any questions before getting the job started. They completed the entire job within one day. Of note is the precision with which they cut the holes for the recessed lights, leaving everything well finished and without any ugly openings. When they were done, they left the place as tidy as it was before they started. I would certainly recommend Hollander Electric for any electric needs.

    We have used Hollander Electric’s team of electricians over the years for the routine repairs and upgrades. They have always given us very a good service and that is typically what one would expect from a certified master electrician. However, my positive impression of this firm was further reinforced on 2018 Labor day (Sept 3, 2018).I called Hollander electric when it appeared that our chandelier motor was not responding after I had brought the chandelier down for cleaning. Although this was a holiday, Steve took the call and said that for this problem he needed to check with another electrician as Steve was not 100% certain about the specific motor model we had. Steve called me within 15 minutes and over the phone gave me the necessary information on which part might need replacing (it was a fuse, by the way). Once I replaced the fuse, I was able to get the chandelier back up and a huge domestic crisis was also averted in the process.It was clear to me that although Steve could have charged me his usual fee for a visit, he gave me the right advice for free, took immediately care of this customer’s need, and that too on a holiday. In the process, he certainly earned a lot of goodwill from me and my family. I will happily recommend this firm to anyone needing quality electrical work to be performed in our area. Thanks!

    Like every business should be, Steve puts the customer first with professionalism as expected, starting with the phone call. They listen, care and follow up. I had a short circuit that was trouble shot and fixed within an hours time. This may not be the case with every situation, but the knowledge and expertise displayed that day left me impressed.
