NYC Professional Millwork helped us build a cabinet for our fireplace and install a wood paneled TV wall. They did an amazing job and the entire experience was smooth. The cabinet turned out even more beautiful than we imagined. The construction crew was very detail conscious and diligent. We also sourced a piece of marble from a subcontractor through them as the cabinet countertop, which is also gorgeous. We loved working with Max, Elly, and the entire crew.

I had a great experience working with Max and the other employees of NYC Professional Millwork. They took the time to ensure our island and closet designs were exactly what we wanted, and they listened to all of our notes. Once designed, the construction process was very quick, and once constructed, they brought over and installed the island and closet shelving in a day. We had an issue with the island drawers not staying in the tracks, but when I reached out to Max, they came back and fixed it right away. The quality of the final product is great and the work feels very sturdy. I would definitely recommend them.

Me and my boy-friend had NYC Professional Millwork built 2 custom build-in wall units for my Brooklyn apartment. They handled our project with high professionalism, from start to finish. They took time and care to listen to our preferences and concerns, took careful measurements accounting for the floor and walls being crooked. The turn around time was quick: we received a professional drawing in about 3 days followed by a 2 day installation in 2 weeks. Michael and his crew were considered and very cooperative throughout the entire process and handled the challenge of crooked floor and walls with excellence. They fixed each and every imperfection pointed by us, and as a result we are happy with the quality of their millwork (we still have to put a granite countertop that we just ordered with another company). One important thing for me, a Russian speaker, and my boy-friend who only speaks English, was that Max and Mikhail speak both, Russian and English. We appreciate the fact that Max, the manager, was able to discuss nuances with us over emails (I can’t make calls during business hours). Max’s English communication skills are superb: he is courteous, efficient, and always responded promptly. This is definitely was a great perk for us. Overall, a very professional team. Excellent quality, fair price, great service. When there were issues, as there inevitably are in complicated projects (we did a gut renovation of a kitchen in a pre-war building), Max took care of them quickly and well. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

I had a very good experience working with Max to build a custom closet/bed surrounds. Max is very communicative and prompt. In addition, the workers on site installed my built-in and worked quickly to modify the fit due to irregular/never straight NYC apartments. The workers also cleaned up debris in the common hallway without being asked.They put my inspiration for a very unique size 16 in depth X 10Ft wall space into a very nice looking built in closet and ample storage for bulk items as well. They also finished up my studio work out corner with custom sized mirrors.

Outstanding craftsmanship and friendly service. We had a large and complicated job, and NYC Millwork really delivered.We did a gut renovation of our apartment and wanted to layer in some high-end millwork: a complicated bar with rounded cabinets, an elegant niche, two high-demand desks and accompanying floating shelves, and a full-room, complex, built-in library with functioning ladder/system. All of this was to be done with high quality materials. I dealt with Max from the outset, and he patiently went over all of our needs before we finalized our plans. He walked us through many options before creating plans for us. Once we settled on these, he and his team went over every detail multiple times to ensure that everything would come out as needed. This included several site visits for precise measurements.Once the things were crafted and ready, a team arrived to install. The bar and the niche were fully fabricated offsite, so only needed to be installed. Maxs team were all friendly and professional and this all was done in just a few hours.The desks and shelves proved a touch more complicated for varying reasons (some mechanical, some space related), but the team remained jovial and kept at things until everything was resolved to my satisfaction.But the real piece de resistance was the library, which is a showstopper. It is fully integrated into the room, is very high quality, built of the best materials, and involves lighting as well. It involved an immense amount of technical precision. The team pulled it all off and we are absolutely thrilled with the result.I am very happy with all of the results and am glad to recommend Max and his team for top rate millwork in NYC.
