For the full gut-renovation project of our kitchen & bathroom plus removing a wall between the living room and dining room in our 100 year old Brooklyn Co-Op apartment building we got estimates from four different contractors -and ultimately chose Andys company because of his vast experience, his strong attitude of wanting to execute everything perfectly, plus his ability to clearly explain all the steps and stages involved ahead of time. Andy and his tight crew were great: experts in all the tasks they performed. On time every day, plus they consistently followed all the Management/Co-Op renovation protocols regarding public spaces, elevator use, clean-up, etc... Andy also expertly handled the various difficult problems that arose due to the existing old electrical and plumbing issues which needed proper correcting and replacing. Plus, near the end of the project, we decided to also have all new ceilings with sound proofing installed in all the rest of the apartment too ...Andy and his team did it to perfection including all the final sanding and painting. Everything in the renovation project looks terrific, and we have peace of mind knowing that every step and stage was done properly, to code, and with quality materials. I will definitely be calling Andy again if we ever have another project requiring a contractor.

Andy and his team recently completed a full gut renovation of our parents master bathroom. Andys reasonable pricing, courteous and professional demeanor, and thoughtful problem-solving made him an absolute pleasure to work with. He designed an elegant bathroom that meets our aging parents needs and expertly navigated the challenges of renovating our 100-year-old home. The layout achieves a perfect balance of spaciousness and safety. His teams exceptional craftsmanship was evident in every detail, from the beautiful tile work to the custom oak door saddle they expertly crafted for the bathroom entrance. They arrived on time every day and cleaned the area before heading out. We highly recommend them and look forward to working with them again!

I had a fantastic experience working with Andy and his crew on some interior renovations in our apartment — wallpaper, tiling, replacing bathroom fixtures and some light repairs. From estimate to scheduling to doing the work, Andy was a fantastic communicator with an attention to detail and strong understanding of aesthetics. He was direct in explaining what would be easy or difficult, why we might choose to do things one way over another, and what he would recommend. I decided to hire them because I was confident that they cared deeply about the quality of their work. I was not disappointed! I cant say enough about Andy. He is meticulous, clever, experienced. His crew is top notch and he ensures and demands quality. He started and finished all of the projects as discussed without any consternation and on time. We are so happy with all of the work done. We replaced a roof that had only been added onto for the last hundred years, rebuilt a front landing and completely waterproofed for the room underneath which was refinished and tiled beautifully. My wife and I feel very fortunate to have met Andy and absolutely would recommend New York home improvement services without any reservation whatsoever.

I was visiting my 90 year young dad. While there, my dad had a huge plumbing issue in his shower that leaked into the floor below. After calling insurance, I needed to find a plumber and contractor. Not knowing anyone in the area, I was thankful to find a good plumber who recommended Andy.Andy came in a timely fashion to assess the problem. He gave us an estimate and time frame for the repairs. I had my full basement done by Andy and was extremely pleased by the results when he was done I had tears in my eyes,with the results. He knows what he’s doing is very neat and I also liked that he gave me ideas that I didn’t think of.He’s the type of guy you hand the key’s to and don’t worry. A big renovation can cause a lot of anxiety. It is much easier if you find a good contractor. That is our experience with NY contractors. Andy and his guys proved to be reliable, hard-working, and knowledgeable. They did our kitchen, and the main bathroom, installed wooden floors and doors throughout the house, and we can say they did a high-quality job. There were other things they improved. These improvements meant a lot to us, like painting all the windows and radiator covers. Attention to detail was unbelievable. It is hard to say what our favorite is, gorgeous bathroom, white and indigo kitchen, or the banister Andy made for us, a simple, elegant art. Their work ethic is commendable, cleaning everything after they finished was great. It is refreshing to have contractors, who are so readily doing their best and repeat saying, they want to make you happy. It is rare to hear it today. Andy and his team of NY Home Improvement Services did “Amazing” work on my rundown three story 4 bedroom brickface townhouse, the house hadn’t been lived in for seven years and needed a complete facelift.I contracted Andy to renovate and remodel specific rooms (bathrooms/kitchen), as well as, create a open floor plan between the kitchen and LR, input new flooring throughout the house and other needed upgrades for the house.I have high standards and its hard for people to meet my expectations, but the quality of work that Andy and his team provided far exceeded my expectations. When we needed a contractor to renovate our kitchen we spent a lot of time interviewing contractors. Andy stood out right away with his genuine interest in making sure the job turned out great. From the first day of demolition Andy and his guys worked hard all day every day until the job was done. Andy was incredibly flexible as we dealt with numerous issues caused by the cabinet manufacturer, even building a custom made cabinet by hand to correct one of their errors. Andy even provided excellent design suggestions throughout the project that we greatly appreciated. You can be confident that you will receive quality work when Andy does the job!

Andy was a great person to deal with. His initial consultation was very thorough and complete to detail . Within a few days he had a proposal ready detailing what was to be done in my home (complete gut renovation). His quote was reasonable. After shopping around, I ended up hiring Andy for the job. He stuck to his word, everything was completed in a timely fashion. Andy and his workers respected my home and were always on time, working mon-fri. When the job was done, Andy returned on two separate occasions to fix/adjust certain things to ensure that everything meet my expectations. Will hire him again for future jobs.
