Greg and his guys are the best! One morning we woke up without electricity in the garage which is my husband’s fish room. He breeds tropical fish and with 80+ tanks he had A LOT of money tied up in that room. Greg jumped right into action for us and the power was back on within about an hour of our call. He saved the day and my husband’s very expensive hobby. We’ve had GJC out to help with several issues. They are quick, reliable, and do great work. Look no further. This should be your hometown electrician!

I hired GJC through American Home Shield Warranty to uninstall and install ceiling fans in my home. The technician arrived on time, was friendly, and respectful of my property.Unfortunately, thats where the positives end. Due to issues with AHS the work got delayed. So I took to Yelp to write this review thinking the issue was with GJC -when in fact the issue was with AHS.Thank you Bree for reaching out to me to get this right. We are now scheduled for the install. I know the work will be right, and for good measure Ive cancelled AHS.In short I should have just reached out to GJC directly they clearly are the professionals in this situation looking to create value and a memorial customer experience.On this alone, I would recommend them to others.

I just purchased my first house! I was having issues with my smoke detectors, tech came in and stated they were out dated and suggested to replace all of them and install new smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors where needed . I found this place due to my contract with American home shield. Despite them not covering the work I was so impressed with the gentleman that came I called them back to do the work anyway and pay out of pocket. Let me tell you I was not disappointed at all. First call to Bree. She was pleasant and friendly and scheduled my job quickly. Blair the technician that came was the absolute best. Ask for him if you need service he explained everything so that I understood what he was doing. The best part is I had some problems after the work was done and the owner came the very next day and fixed the problem. He also was so nice. Please if you ever need electrical work done call them. You wont be disappointed.

Greg was a life saver! I had some kitchen appliances delivered and had no idea that the old ones were hardwired and the company I bought them from wouldn’t install them. Greg was able to come to my house the next day and replace the hardwire with proper outlets and even replaced some other outdated outlets for me as well. GJC is great and I would highly recommend them. For 3 years the light in my ceiling fan didn’t work- the fan did but the light would randomly work for a minute and then cut off. I had a few people come check it out but just had a bad feeling about them. Finally set up an appointment with GJC and Greg came right on time, was very professional and within minutes diagnosed the problem as a bad circuit board. He gave me a few options (replace the fan, call the company for a new circuit board or install a universal remote) and let me chose. I chose install the universal remote. About 5 minutes later he called me to check it out and it works! The light has literally changed the room in the best way!! I am so happy every time I turn the lights on. He also diagnosed a few non working outlets and showed me the problem- the reset button on the kitchen outlet was actually linked to the other few and caused them to not work. When he hit reset it was magic and they all worked. Gregs price was great and my problems were solved. I highly recommend Greg and GJC for any electrical need! Already scheduled them to add some recessed lighting in my living room. Thank you!

My attic fan stopped working and needed to be fixed so my warranty company contacted GJC Electric. Shawn and Will were the two young men that came out to fix my attic fan. They determined what the problem was in a matter of minutes and had the part in their work truck. The same two guys went to my moms house first and fixed her attic fan before coming to my house. I have used GJC Electric on two occasions and cannot say enough about the quality and professionalism of this company. For that reason I called for an emergency electrical repair. The lights in my house were dimming and fearing it had something to do with the service cable I called PECO. Upon arrival at 4 pm they deemed the service cable unsafe and shut off the power! I was able to reach Greg and he flew into action. Within 1 1/2 hours he was on site, with all the supplies to replace the meter box. He collaborated with PECO and was able to restore power before nightfall. It was AMAZING! His can do attitude saved the day!I had used his service the first time ( he was referred by a friend who also had a great experience) and he did a great job on the electrical wiring of my kitchen and bath remodel.Professional, knowledgeable, personable, fair pricing and neatness all come to mind. I highly recommend!

I highly recommend GJC Electric! A few weeks ago, the power in a few rooms of my home suddenly went out. My husband tried to find the problem but could not. I called Greg, he was here that afternoon as one of the rooms was our home office and I was in a panic about my computer not working. Greg spent a lot of time going up and down from the basement to the third floor trying to find the problem. After a lot of detective work he determined the problem was not actually in any of the rooms that lost power...the problem was in my sons bedroom which still had power. Thank goodness Greg took the time to find and fix this problem - the wires in my sons rooms were starting to melt and eventually would have caused a fire. Professional, Knowledgeable, Courteous, & Thorough are a few words I would use to describe Greg and his team at GJC Electric. He responded to my problem quickly and I did not fall over when he handed me the bill for his services. Cant ask for better than that!!

Called Greg at 6:30pm on a Saturday during Labor Day weekend after a transformer fried our circuit breaker. He answered immediately and showed up 45 minutes later in the middle of the rain. Greg came in, checked and tested the circuit breaker, and immediately knew what the issues were. He checked everything thoroughly and within 20 minutes all the fried circuits were replaced and power was back on. Greg definitely deserves the 5 stars for service and pricing!
