I have dealt with many contractors over the years and by far this company is top 3 companies I have dealt with. They came out the same day I called for an estimate and that same day I got the estimate via email. Less than 2 weeks later the job was done. I had another company prior to them that I waiting over a year and no work was done and I had difficult time getting my money back. Mr. Sparky and Jay were very professional and did not waste my time with pointless things. The only thing I would say I think they should not do is ask for money to come out to give an estimate. They took that charge off and came out for a free estimate but in terms of loosing customers that is possible way of not being able to get business. I would highly recommend them Jay is a great guy and very informative and I wish more people ran their business like them. Thank You Mr. Sparky for the great job!

This company is fantastic. They are prompt, courteous and professional. When they tell you they will be there at a specific time, they will be arriving at that time, which is refreshing. They also stand behind their work. My home had no overhead lighting or wiring, and still had individual pull cords for the basement lights. They arrived on time, to my house, with seven electricians and finished all the work in one day. They were neat and tidy while working, and cleaned up after themselves. Mr sparky’s team rendered miracles with the electricity in our basement yesterday. Very thorough. Replaced the circuit box and labeled everything clearly. No one needs to worry any longer about being electrocuted while doing laundry. Also 2 new outlets: one in workshop and another in laundry area. They removed all dead wiring/conduit they encountered and even removed a live, wide open exposed outlet. I will definitely use them in the future.

After my electrician promised to do they work he never returned nor responded to my communication. I tried to contact others but they either didnt respond or were booking far in advance. Mr. Sparky, in the person of Jay Fontes, called ahead of his visit to alert us -- a pleasant surprise -- and upon arriving, donned mask and paper slippers, which was very much appreciated. I explained that we wanted to trade in twenty-five-year-old thermostats for a tad more contemporary models. In fact, I had already bought three possible candidates, but Jay pointed out that these particular models required a C-wire, which alas, is absent from our electrical system. He further noted that installing C-wires to service two stories would be an expensive proposition. He must have seen the dismay on my face because he immediately raised the alternative of Nest Learning Thermostats, whose efficiency and reliability he spoke highly of. That seemed like a promising route to take, and I asked Jay what Mr. Sparky charged for installing said devices. He quoted me what seemed like a fair price but also mentioned that they were relatively easy to install, even for a diehard Mess-it-upper like myself. Wow! I exclaimed joyfully, Jay you just came up with a solution that I never could have thought of! So, I can only describe my experience with Mr. Sparky as extremely positive and am very obliged to Jay as much for his courteous and helpful attitude as for his technical expertise and professionalism.

Jay found that the trouble shooting Verizon had done over the phone had not been helpful. He tried various things to see where the problem might be. Nothing he could fix.But his pinpointing led Verizon to agree to send a technician to our house which they have not been doing for two months.Jay very efficiently did another electrical installation for us as well.Such a relief to have someone who knew what he was doing
