Excellent customer service, timeliness and workmanship. After getting out of a bad maintenance agreement with another highly advertised company a couple of years ago, a friend suggested United Electric and we have never looked back. They gave reasonable hourly rates. Their techs are professional and knowledgeable. They always work to save you money without cutting corners on safety. I recommend United Electric to anyone that asks.

Horrible. The electricians are hit and miss, which I guess I can accept. However, the office is absolutely horrible. They don’t answer the phone, don’t call back for days to weeks, schedule appointments without telling you and generally don’t know what is going on. Really should be -5 starsUpdate: seem to still have issues with office but electrician was great.

Just used United Electric to replace my 40 year old breaker box and install a new outdoor subpanel needed for an upcoming pool and deck remodel. The work needed to be complete prior to the pool remodels new installation of pumps and heaters. I had the work previously scheduled through a friend but hurricane Ian had other plans for him so I had to scramble to find another option. A friend recommended United to me and one of the managers called me right away. Within 30 days (which is unheard of after a local hurricane) he had 2 techs at my house replacing the entire main panel and prepping for the subpanel. A couple week later, one of them returned to finish the project with additional equipment that I had just decide on during their first visit. I just cant say enough good about these techs. They were the ultimate professions and just overall great guys. And the final bill (even with all my ad ons) wasnt too bad either. I was prepared to pay much more for such great service. Two thumbs up to United Electric and all their staff. GREAT JOB!!!! I recommend then to everyone.

Finding low voltage specialists in Sarasota is a challenge. I have used David Phillips and his United Electric crew for four years and have always had great results. They are knowledgeable , responsive and great to work with.

I can’t recommend this company highly enough. We had a whole house generator installed by a different company, who couldn’t figure out how to fix a problem at the very end so it was never actually running after installation. We were very frustrated and decided to try another electrician referred by Generac which was United electric. United electric sent a tech out and they had it fixed that same day. We should’ve had them install it in the first place that was our mistake. Then After hurricane Milton, we had an issue with the generator turning off, and they answered their phone right away and walked us through the problem and fixed it over the phone with us. They were so helpful and accommodating. I will be using them for all our electrical needs and highly recommend them.

I was at the 7 Eleven on 301 and Whitfield. My SUV had died. Without even asking a guy came up to me to see if I needed help. He spent 15 minutes in the heat helping to figure out the problem. He didnt have to do that. If he goes out of his way to help a stranded person then he must be the same way with his job. I didnt get his Name but thank you very much. Thank you to United Electric for having great staff.

I used United to service our generator. I have used other companies over the years and have been very disappointed with the results. Very glad we used United and Justin did a great job on our generator that had many issues, would definitely continue to use them in the future
