I had a fantastic experience with DK General. I had a flooding issue that stemmed from my upstairs shower. I contacted them because they were highly recommended to me and without hesitation they accepted the challenge of fixing it all. I live in Florida and they were willing to come all the way from Maryland and completely renovated my shower and fixed my ceiling. They even installed some lighting in my living room that has given my home a much brighter look. I would recommend them to anyone. The team led by Erick was very professional, providing open communication, and extremely oriented to detail. Thank you DK General for making a stressful time a little easier to deal with. I look forward to working with you again in the future :)

Carlos, Erick, and the team renovated the basement at our new home and did excellent work. The project evolved as we went, and Carlos was reasonable and creative to address issues as they arose. They also built a window bench, installed light fixtures, and helped with small touch-ups around the house. We plan to use DK for future projects including a bathroom renovation. Would highly recommend. The craftmanship is excellent, but more important, Carlos and his crew are honest, dependable, and kind.

Carlos was recommended by one of our friend. He did a big project for us i.e. bathrooms, laundry, recessed lights, heated floors etc. Carlos and his crew were very punctual, professional, and followed all CDC guidelines for work. His estimates were good and he followed the plan given by designer and also provided really good suggestions to enhance the existing plan/design.We are very happy with his work. We will definitely going to use him and his team for future work.

Carlos and his crew were wonderful to work with. DK General Contractor completed a major overhaul of our lower level-kitchen remodel, changed lighting fixtures, fireplace changed from wood to electric, painting, installed both wood and tile flooring and rebuilt my staircase. All I can saw is WOW!! the work is beautiful down to each detail. I especially loved the fact the Carlos is involved in all aspects. He makes sure the work is done right and was involved throughout the entire project. We will be using them again.

They worked with efficiency and completed the project on time and on budget, even when we added tiling an extra room midway through the project. My realtor recommended DK and Carlos and I am so glad she did. Carlos and his crew were fantastic to work with. He was able to give me an estimate and begin work quickly. The quality of the work was amazing, and they were able to finish early, even with me adding additional work in the middle of the project. I truly felt like Carlos and his crew took the time to listen to what I wanted and worked with me to make what I wanted a reality. He was great to work with and was completely honest if something I wanted was not possible and gave me better options. I am so glad that I went with his suggestions. Carlos and DK General Contractor do amazing work and I will absolutely use them on future projects. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

I was recommended to use DK by a friend of ours. We had Carlos come out to our home and give us an estimated on installing recessed lights in our family room. He was quick to respond to our message and came over the the same day. He did provide us with a good estimate and even offered good recommendations on the placement and layout of the lights. We did go with his plan and he was able to finish the work in short order.His work is very clean and professional and he made the minimum number of cuts to the ceiling to get the work completed.We are really happy to have used DK for our work and will definitely use him for our future projects.

Carlos and his team have been our partners for home improvements for over five years. It started when he built an addition on our home in Bethesda. He and his team were exceptional in quality and value. He remained on budget and on time. Our addition required many types of tradesman from stucco, windows and glass, to hardwood flooring, kitchens, baths and roofing and they did it all for a competitive price and schedule. An example of how Carlos went the extra mile was a time at the beginning of the job when there was a lot of tarp out covering an exposed multi-level wall and night was approaching and some torrential rain came in and it was the weekend. Carlos and one of his team members came over to check the seal in his Sunday clothes because he had just left church. He was on a ladder making sure everything was secured to not damage our home and we were so grateful. He did this on his own because that’s the type of service he and his business provides. Since the addition we have called on his business to modernize our basement and paint and paint and paint everything from the outside in. We are so grateful to have Carlos now as a friend. DK General Contractors remains our #1 preferred partner for all home improvements. Thank you for all you and your team does Carlos!

Carlos and his team did an excellent job renovating our kitchen!! They were very professional and arrived on time every day, at the end of every day they cleaned up their area and always left things cleaner then when they found it. They allowed me to be as involved in the remodel process as I wanted to be and worked with some of our existing cabinets and appliances (most kitchen companies want you to replace everything, which we felt we didn’t need to do). Their work is beautiful, attention to detail is impeccable and I will continue to use their services for the life of our home. Highly recommend!!!

Carlos and his team did major remodelling work in our house which included all bathrooms remodelling, laundry and mudroom , floor refinish and installing fans and recess lights. They followed all CDC guidelines and the work was done in the scheduled time. They are very punctual and do a very clean and quality work. The best thing about Carlos is he is very prompt and punctual. We will definitely be working with them again in future.

I had my basement finished. They added a bedroom and a full bath. The job was done early and under budget. They were working sometimes till 9pm to get the job finished. All our directions were followed. Good advice was given by Carlos for some of the aspects that we were unsure of. We are very happy with the work that was done, we will use him for our future projects and would highly recommend him.

I had water damage in the drywall of my first floor ceiling. Carlos and his team removed the the bad drywall, checked all plumbing lines, replaced the drywall, sanded and painted it. They also put in new can lights, installed a ceiling fan, and even fixed an electrical issue in my master bedroom upstairs. They finished the job on time and did immaculate work. They clean up every day. It’s hard to tell they’ve been there. I will be using their services in the future and recommend them to anyone who needs a contractor.
