Luke was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. He arrived the same day I called. After troubleshooting a few things it was determined I needed a new thermostat. He offered to drive to Home Depot to pick one up for me for no extra charge and within a few minutes everything was fixed and the electric heat was working. Price was very fair. Great service/company. I highly recommend

Airways installed a new air conditioning unit last summer for us which ran like a charm and was a huge money saver too! I am so happy with the service I received from this company and the quality of work provided. Additionally, a recent install of Ecobee thermostats by them has proven to be so convenient as well as economical! I have two Ecobee thermostat zones in my home which I can control both the heat and the a/c manually or from my phone! At night when Im too tired to get up or go downstairs to increase or decrease the temperature, I just pick up my phone, click on the Ecobee app and control the thermostat to whatever I want. I can also control the temperature away from home from literally anywhere as well as check to see what the house temperature is and adjust accordingly. Thank you Airways Mechanical for a perfect install and professional attitude! Also thanks to owner Luke for suggesting these great thermostats and for being so easy to work with! Highly recommend this companys services and expertise! 5 stars!

**VETERAN FRIENDLY** Very professional, upon arrival asked me questions relating to my issue in order to best provide service and after completion relayed some information in which can be preventative as well as things to look for if a reoccurring issue persist. In my opinion I will definitely be saving their number it is always nice to have a reliable and affordable service provider in the area.

We had Airways Mechanical install a brand new central AC unit, including ducts and vents, and they were amazing. Luke, Nick and their crew were professional, considerate, thorough and efficient. We were expecting a disaster since we had to start from scratch but it was easy and went so smooth that we regret not having done it sooner. When we reached out with concerns and questions, both Luke and Nick were quick to respond and even made a trip out to check on things. We will also be using them for our heating system moving forward because they were so easy to work with. Highly recommend them.

Recently my central air conditioning died. I didnt know who to call. No one I knew could give me a recommendation. I didnt want to be overcharged or have shoddy workmanship. I started looking online for a local company. As I checked out different websites, I was impressed by the reviews that were posted for Airways Mechanical. The names of the people who submitted the reviews were posted, so I knew that the reviews were authentic. After dealing with them, I agree with the rave reviews they have received. Airways Mechanical is run like a company should be run. My initial telephone call was answered by Maria. Believe it or not, but she told me that shed call me back in 20 minutes...and she did! Everyone I dealt with was both polite and professional. My new system was installed within a week, and at a reasonable price, too. My home was respected from the beginning when they placed tarps throughout my home, until the end when every last piece was removed. Luke, one of the owners, was here throughout the job. The installation team was efficient and knowledgeable, and careful to ensure that my three dogs were not let out. I would definitely recommend Airways Mechanical to anyone who needs or wants an honest and reliable HVAC company.

I highly recommended! They were extremely responsive and returned our calls immediately! Reasonable rates, too. The owner, Luke, was was friendly and efficient. He reviewed all available options and didnt try to sell me anything we did not need. He installed a new water heater for us and contacted us later to make sure everything was working smoothly. He left the space clean. I cannot say enough positive things!!

I called Airways mechanical last minute because I had a water leak in my ductless AC. Luke came to check it out and fixed the problem in no time. He made sure to check everything, even went into the attic to double check how the water was flowing out. Took his time to explain everything to me. When he was done, problem was fixed and we could enjoy the AC without worrying about water coming out. I highly recommend them! They have amazing customer service!

My pool heater was not working as efficiently as it used to (it’s 14 years old), so I contacted Airways Mechanical to service it. I spoke to Luke, he was very responsive, friendly, and showed up exactly when he said he would. He did a great job and explained everything to me. My heat pump pool heater only needed a little bit of refrigerant, and now it’s working better. I should be able to wait a few more years before I need a new unit now. I highly recommend!

Highly recommend this excellent company!! My central air was broken & I cant tolerate even minimal heat. Not only did they make special arrangements to see me at the end of the same day I called but they kept me informed as to the arrival time. And the secretary, Maria, was a pleasure to deal with: total customer service oriented, friendly, kind, understanding, & positive even though juggling multiple calls with problem scenarios. Everyone in the company went above & beyond to take care of my needs. It reminded me of that personal touch when doctors bent over backwards to make house calls!

I had a small emergency when I turned on my hot water this morning, it was ice cold. I immediately went downstairs and saw the oil burner relay switch was red. I went to google and found this company Airways Mechanical in Lake Grove. The owner Luke answered my call right away, no voicemail. I explained to him my situation, and they showed up one hour later, and serviced my oil burner. They were meticulous with everything they did. After they finished, my oil burner was purring again. I highly recommend them to anyone needing this service.

I had my a/c repaired last summer and the job was done promptly and professionally. Recently, I decided to replace my analog heating thermostats with digital ones. I called Luke, who did the work last time. We discovered an issue with the wiring in my house that was going to one of my rooms, all the other thermostats in the house worked fine. Luke did an amazing job in discovering the issue and making it right, even though it was not a big job. Prompt, responsive, professional. If you need A/C or heating work, stop your google search right now and call these guys, you won’t be disappointed.

We had an emergency on Christmas Eve 2024 early morning like 4am in which our boiler malfunctioned. We reached out to several companies listed in our area - Bohemia , NY as 24 hours ER residential response and were told that due to it being a holiday the price was higher than usual… SALCO HEATING & COOLING - Luke Salvatore, Owner was the only one that stated that the service call price is the same as in any regular day of service, no price gouging and was available within a couple of hours. Luke was able to identify the problem, fix it and made himself available if it malfunctioned again. Luke was genuinely professional, knowledgeable, and respectful of our needs and our home in turn earning our trust in establishing a well overlooked, and much needed service plan to ensure longevity for our boiler system.
