I was very impressed with the professionalism of Eric Juneau and others who accompanied him to assemble and install a new foyer fixture, 2 pendants in the kitchen and an outside fan. They were polite, personable and worked very hard. The foyer fixture was a replacement fixture and was installed on a lift that lowers and lifts the fixture to help with replacing bulbs but also the fixture itself. It took them quite a while of moving it up and down slowly from a 24’ ceiling so they could make adjustments until it was just right and had the parts connecting properly. The pendants were glass and they handled them very carefully. They had to find the wiring in the ceiling since I had not put pendants up previously and fortunately there was only on hole cut for each pendant as they found the wiring easily. The clean up was exceptional. I can’t say enough about my dealings with this company. Thank you Big Family Electric!

My first impression of Big Family Electrical after meeting Eric can only be described as Awesome. Then I had the pleasure to see Erics work in real-time because I was on the jobsite. And then Sean came to help which only made my confidence grow more. Even better, when Seth the engineer and owner arrived as well and was pulling cable with them all I saw a real team. Our project is best approached one phase at a time and the teamwork this company displayed to me gives me tremendous trust in their ability.Some inspection and review by the Big Family team came up with some required improvements. It took Eric no time at all to check inventory and to give us a price. I cannot say enough good things about Big Family Electric. Every part of my whole experience with them was phenomenal. Every person I spoke to on the phone to the installer that came out and put in my transfer switch were all so friendly and helpful. They even came out same day I called and installed the switch before a hurricane to make sure I was ready to go in case needed. Eric who did my install was super friendly and very professional and thorough. Again my first experience with Big Family was great.

We just had an EV charging port installed by Big Family. The initial company contact, Ashanti, was very informative, scheduled a consult, and walked us through the installation process. The consult/installer, Eric, was prompt, provided multiple installation/cost options, and completed the installation we chose the same day. Technician Seth Chandler arrived well ahead of anticipated schedule. We requested a technician to inspect an EV wall charger to make sure it was compatible with the EV we purchased and he was very thorough and explained how it would work as well as the portable charger. He also advised that with the wall charger we had their company liked inspect the home electric systems in order to ensure the safety of the property. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything involving the electrical panels and the things that we could consider in the future. Very happy with the inspection and when it’s time for upgrades, will definitely request that Seth is the tech that does the work we might need.

I called their office at 8am on the dot .. talked to a nice lady who took all the information I provided .. asked me if I would want someone to come out today .. I said yes .. she told me to hold for a minute while she talked to the service manager .. she came back on the line and said a tech would be out to my house @ 9:30am .. I received a text confirming this and said it would be Eric and showed a picture of him. Eric showed up shortly before 9:30 am .. I showed him my problem and he started checking outlets and switches .. he had to go up in the attic to do some troubleshooting .. bottom line he found the problem in one of my receptacles .. when the house was built they stabbed the electrical wires into holes provided on the back of the receptacle instead of to the screw posts on the side .. Eric told me that they never use the stab in method .. its a definite failure point. Eric removed the bad receptacle and replaced with a new one ... he also replaced a receptacle in the AC closet. I had him install a GFCI on the circuit breaker in my main breaker box (for the kitchen) while he was here ... Eric was very polite .. explained what he was doing .. before starting any work he provided cost ... overall I dont think you will find a better contractor than Big Family .. I will highly recommend Big Family to ALL my friends that need electrical work.

I received thoughtful and caring check in text messages and calls to ensure my experience was excellent and they checked in to make sure DEMCO (the power company) was able to get the power turned back on for me after they did the repair. Their prices are fair and their knowledge and service are incredible. I highly recommend giving them a call if youre ever in need of electrical work.

Consultation for safety of existing wiring for updated portable generator hook up with possibility of upgrade as needed.Nick was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He carefully examined my main panel, inlet box, sub-panel and generator. He answered many questions (which led to more questions) and thoroughly explained and SHOWED me patiently how and why my generator worked with my existing home interlock.Nick did a safety check inside my home and gave explanations and estimates to improve services throughout my home.Jada in the office was courteous and followed up with appt confirmation and even called to see if Nick could come earlier than scheduled. He showed up on time with the earlier timeframe.Big Family LLC is professional all the way. I would not hesitate to contact them for my own home and can happily recommend them to others!

Service to house on 6345 Smiley Street: I am presently renting a house that is more than 75 years old.Seth Chandler, who is the founder of Big Family Electric Services did some electrical work in this house. He installed several outlets for room air conditioners in this house. No circuit he worked on or installed has given any problems. He weighed each problem he incurred and found the answers needed to correct the problems. The work was done in a very professional manner.I give him a 5 star review.

Had a real situation as the cold was incredibly intense over a 4 day period and finally get the AC hooked up and realized I had a phase issue with one side of the leg. So after finding problem it was a busted block on one of the feed wire connectors so I called Big Family and they told me a time so I told Candace about my 94 yr old Mom being really cold although we had a generator and she moved me up to serious and they were out there in a couple hours. That was impressive considering the circumstances of demand. Seth and his son Shawn came out and they were just incredible, Got right on it and went and got the LineTek guys to come straddle the line back and they did. The way those two Cos worked together was quite impressive as well and they coordinated the whole situation and time absolutely perfectly. The crew went to lunch and when they returned Seth and son were done completely and the work was flawless and once again very impressive tstl. They even helped locate a spot on the roof where a branch had penetrated the shingles and wood and pointed it out to me and marked it. Just a great piece of work in the knich of time to get power back finally without having to go through another intense night was Gold.Tks to them !

Seth is a rockstar. With Ida’s early rains falling, he installed a power inlet box for our portable generator to power the house. We bought this house with a generator disconnect switch but it was wired for only 5000 watts and we have a 7500 watt generator.Seth pointed out the shortcomings and explained the safest solution. After I searched the BR area for the proper outlet box, Debra found one in storage at BIG Family. This was a day before the storm. Seth arrived the morning of the storm to complete the upgrade. At 6 pm Sunday evening we still have utility power but my generator is standing by. Seth explained the sequence for switching to generator power while safely isolating from the utility.Really hope we won’t need the feature, but we’ll sleep better knowing we’re prepared.Great job Seth and DebraBarry

Very professional. I received a text with a picture of the service person and a confirmation of appointment time. I got another text when Seth was at my door. I was not at home and told him how to access my home in order to check on electrical components and verify that my exhaust fan was operating properly. He did a general inspection and then specific exhaust inspection. He verified what our agreement was as far as service and price and let me know he would put covers over his shoes and practice recommended practices to protect my home as well as himself. Once all of the inspection was done I received a call from Seth to discuss his findings and recommendations. All of this was handled with the utmost professionalism. I truly appreciate what Seth and Big Family electrical did for me on short notice. I give both a 10-star rating and will recommend them to anyone in need of services provided by them. The tech repaired the short to the front door bell so a ring Doorbell could be installed. He arrived early (same day service) got right to work and diagnosed and fixed the problem within an hour. A bit pricey but I’ll pay for quality over quantity any day. BOT
