    What a lifesaver and extremely nice company!! Our hot water heater died and Bulldog was able to fit us into their schedule quickly.     Our water heater suddenly and unexpectedly decided to start leaking. We called Bulldog and they were able to send out a plumber the same day. We are pleased with the response and the quality of the installation. Our service rep was competent, professional, polite and congenial. Bulldog, as a company, are very community oriented and are more than just a plumbing service. Were happy to do business with them - but happy to not have to use them very often. (TIC)

    I have used Bulldog Plumbing about have a dozen times over the last couple of years- sometimes for small things like replacing a faucet or spigot, but also for a major repair/leak in our ceiling. In every instance, Bulldog Plumbing has been really knowledgeable and quick to assess and fix the issue. As a novice, they also do a great job of explaining what they are doing and why and just answering questions. Their prices are always great and they are super professional from their receptionists to their plumbers. I will never go back to my previous plumbing service.

    Bulldog Plumbing is a great family run business. Their staff is wonderful. Doug does a great job explaining what needs to be done and his team is outstanding. We had John out this week, and he not only did a great job, but he made an extra effort to explain everything he was going to do, and he tripled check his work afterwards. For John this extra effort is actually his standard operating procedure, he just is a great worker who loves what he is doing. I recommend Bulldog Plumbing to everyone.

    We unexpectedly had our water heater explode. I reached out to Bulldog Plumbing and they were here first thing the next morning to replace our water heater. They were clean, efficient, timely and respectful. Not only did they explain what we needed they ensured we were comfortable every step of the way. I cannot recommend them more. If you need a plumber, you need to call Bulldog.

    Over the last year or so, I have had Bulldog Plumbing out to my house twice for two separate issues (water softener and running toilet). I am very pleased with the consistent quality work, cleanliness, and kindness of two different techs. These are clearly company standards (and good hires). Plumbing is not an area where I have any knowledge, but both techs explained clearly, patiently helped me to understand, and answered my questions.

    Asked Bulldog Plumbing to come out and quote a corroded bathtub spa drain that kept leaking. As luck would have it, or as a great service company would plan things… the installer had a part in the truck, was able to give me a quote and did the change out quickly and efficiently. Additionally, Norm took a quick peek at a toilet that kept running and adjusted the chain to fix the issue. I fully recommend Bulldog Plumbing of Batavia, IL and find them to be trustworthy and reliable. As a side note, they texted me a short arrival window and arrived on time and as expected.

    I could not remove the cartridge in my shower valve. It was stuck due to years of hard water build up. John came out and was able to remove the cartridge and install a new one. He was very professional, polite, and pleasant.

    My shower and faucet were barely running and really stuck in place. I tried for a week before to replace it myself. Finally saw the owner Doug at our local coffee shop and we made an appointment right there for him to come fix it on Monday. On time, did the job nicely and fairly priced.     They are trustworthy and super good at what they do. My tenant in Batavia called and reported water leaking from the 1st floor bathroom ceiling one night. I called my frequently used plumber but his schedule is full next day. Then I searched and found many good comments about Bulldog Plumbing in Batavia. I called and got 11am next morning scheduled. One technician came first then the Owner came, they quickly found the root cause from the toilet upstairs, replaced the whole toilet bowl and water tank, fixed the leaking issue same day.     Made an appointment with Bulldog Plumbing In April of 2024, to have two water shut-off valves and supply lines replaced under a second floor bathroom sink.     Norm is very knowledgeable about water treatment options and an extremely helpful plumber. Norm removed a water softening system from a prior company that was a mess. Our water smelled and the prior company came back several times to determine and fix the problem with no success. Our new system has a filter and we can drink right from the faucet. Norm followed up with us 2 weeks after the install to make sure all was well and to make sure we were happy with our system. We couldn’t be more pleased with Bulldog Plumbing.

    Doug and his employees were always courteous to me, and that is important. I was looking to have a few estimates done for a few projects in my house. Doug came out and wss very kind and explained, in detail, what he would do. He even fixed a flow problem with my kitchen sink, right then and there, without charging me, which was very kind, and why I tacked on an additional star, in what would otherwise be a 3-star review. His estimates came in about average, and since this was a recommendation from a friend, and I was impressed with Dougs demeanor, I decided to give Bulldog a shot. Long story short, they were able to do the work on the sink that I requested, but due to a miscommunication, I had to obtain an extra part before they could finish the job properly. The plumbers doing the job wanted partial payment when they informed me of the need for me to get this extra part, which I did not agree with. Again, upon talking to Doug, was apologetic for the miscommunication, and offered a small discount on the work. When I obtained the part that was necessary, they came back and finished the job. Loss of one star for not responding to my reply emails to the estimate (I finally called), as well as not responding to my two calls for a return appointment to finish the job (3 days).

    So, its been a while now since I had to call them, but when they came out, they were fantastic! (Weve actually uses them twice now, totally unrelated things) First time: We had a gas leak and Nicor shut off our supply (understandably) and within hours they were here. It was the dead of winter and the kids and dogs needed to be out ASAP. They made sure we had space heaters and werent freezing while I waited (even offered up some heaters while we waited).Second time: Had water pressure issues on a well/septic system. Called right back and said it was probably a well issue and not plumbing, so redirected us to the right place! It was totally a gauge and not a plumbing thing, but he called back the next day to double check and made sure we were taken care of!I will definitely call them again (probably very soon because the toddler dropped and flushed a toy down the 40+ year old toilet ...)Thanks guys!
