Had some busted pipes under my house after this last freeze 12/22/22. Did an amazing job, arrived same day I called, 12/26/22. James is the ONLY plumber in the area that answers his phone. Even if hes busy, he will try to squeeze you in when no one else will even talk to you. Awesome guy, Fair prices. Arrives on time. He also fixed all my broken pipes after the BIG Texas Freeze in 2020. Im a repeat customer and will call him in the future if I ever need him again.

Repeat customer. You do not need to call anyone else for your plumbing needs. James does the most important thing, he LISTENS to your problem, and is very detailed in final diagnosis. He does not give you the long string of making up reasons to inspect every pipe, remove commode, turn on all appliance, call in seal team 6 just to do an estimate...Great prices, no excuses, SOLID, TRUTHFUL recommendations and will advise what should and should not be delayed in service or replacement. He understand water problems are a BEATING. Support your local independent, self employed businesses...Thank You..CR.

James Hicks has been doing plumbing work for me for over a decade. He does great work and responds quickly. He is very reasonable and very honest. I have referred him to many of my friends and relatives. If I could rate him with a 10 star review I would. He has gone way out of his way to do work for me. I will call him again if I need a plumbing job done.

I called James Hicks on Saturday morning, 10/31/2020 due to a clogged main sewer. He was at my house within 30 minutes and fixed my problem quickly. James is very knowledgeable and extremely honest. I always use Hicks for my plumbing needs. Recently we had a leak in our well lines and he repaired it quickly. Hes also installed water lines and shut off valves so we have access to city water in addition to well water. I recommend Mr. Hicks without reservation.

Over the course of 4 days calling around town to different plumbing places, which none in Decatur ever called back or answered the phone, I got in touch with Mr Hicks as a last resort since he was located over an hour away. Not only did he answer, he came out the same day within an hour and a half. Was very polite, made a few recomendations for future improvements to avoid incurring higher charges regarding plumbing. Cleared our clog, and upgraded our sinks plumbing. Price was less than expected and very fair. He was up front and honest about everything. No upselling unnneeded products, or added fees. If you have a plumbing issue I highly recommend!

I contacted James Hicks Plumbing and two other plumbing companies in the Azle area to quote a job for me.Scope: Replace water heater, install whole house water softener and sediment filter, replace two toilets and water valves, repair 6 water faucets, unclog two slow drains and connect propane line to a newly installed cooktop.After I received the bids I chose James. His bid was inline with the others. During his bid walk-thru he explained the details of the work to be performed and provided me options.The work was performed within budget, on time and very professionally .Communication with James on the phone and in person was easy and helped this job to go smoothly.I will be using James Hicks Plumbing for my future projects.
