This was our fast experience using professional remodeling firm and we hired Catalyst Construction to remodel a small bathroom. We selected Catalyst Construction based on reviews, images of prior work, responsiveness and a fair and detailed quote. The process was easy and communications were good. We ended up with a pretty new bathroom as requested! We recommend Catalyst for your home remodel needs.

This was our first experience with remodeling a home, so we were very nervous about finding the right contractor. Catalyst Construction was recommended by our interior designer, and they turned out to be an excellent partner for this huge project!The project manager was professional, communicative, and accommodating throughout the duration of the work. As a mechanical engineer and former project manager myself, I was generally impressed by their attention to detail and willingness to work with us through design changes as the work progressed. The Catalyst team stayed on track and even pushed to complete final punch list items a few weeks ahead of schedule to allow our family to move in ahead of a deadline.For a project of this scale, it was exciting to see the final product start to appear after months of foundation, framing, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work. In the end, I would say that the quality of their work exceeded my expectations. Catalyst brought our vision to reality and it has been a wonderful place to call home!

Catalyst Construction was recommended to us by our design team to help remodel our condo & we have had a wonderful experience with them! Our home is truly lovely!Our project was complex & the work involved a new kitchen, baths, built-in cabinets, flooring, tile & painting. Catalyst Constructions tradespeople were professional, reliable and left the workspace clean and tidy. Jess Jackson, the Project Manager, was responsive & provided detailed cost estimates for each task & for the projects overall time frame. Communication was great! She and her Team were also very respectful of my HOAs requirements regarding licenses, insurance & other compliance issues. Catalyst wants their customers to be satisfied & I highly recommend them.

These guys are great. So hard to find a company that is prompt, thorough and technically sound these days, But the Catalyst Construction folks hit all three marks. They installed a new exterior door on our Austin house. Job included removing existing door, removing rotted door frame and then installing new frame, door and hardware. All work was completed with perfection and care you would expect in a much larger project. They even matched our exterior paint for the new door and frame. They showed up when they said they would and completed the job on schedule. In addition to the actual work, the communication before during and after the job was spot on. Lastly, their invoice was detailed and easy to follow. No having to guess exactly what I was being charged. Bottom line - I will definitely use Catalyst for future small and large jobs. From what I experienced I would trust them with a complete house renovation.

I couldnt be happier with Alex and his team at Catalyst Construction!! I recently bought a home in Austin that needed quite a bit of work. After meeting with a number of contractors, I finally had the pleasure of meeting Alex at Catalyst. Immediately I was pleased with his upfront honesty and willingness to help. I was a little nervous to work with a contractor initially, but Alex really helped bring ease to our minds. He suggested cost saving tips, explained everything in great detail, and had a ton of great construction knowledge that enabled the project to go smoothly.After receiving a fair bid, we ultimately decided to go with Catalyst. Throughout the entire process, Alex was transparent and communicated everything extremely well — I always felt that we were in great hands! He paid great attention to detail, which ultimately left us with a great finished product. I can not recommend these guys enough! We will be coming back for any future projects.

My mother in law had a minor accident involving the garage and caused extensive damage. Her truck was damaged as well . I have never had to deal with such a situation and didn’t no where to start. Mind you it’s was a few weeks before Christmas . I called Regan to get an estimate and she communicated to me that as soon as time permitted someone would come to access the damage . Fast forward a few weeks into the New Year her company/crew knocked it out of the park!! It looks as if nothing happened. Thanks again Regan and Catalyst Construction 😇😍.

We used Catalyst to completely remodel both bathrooms to fix issues created by our former contractor and to change out all interior doors in our house. This was our third engagement with a contractor to do major work on our house, and Catalyst was BY FAR the most professional, organized, and transparent. I was most impressed by the teams attention to detail as I had high expectations with our bathroom redos (after only five years from a previous remodel). In addition to ensuring that all work was code-compliant, I was most particular about the tile work, which included terrazzo tile flooring, and the team exceeded my expectations. If I expressed any concern about an item, it was corrected quickly. I had a challenging time locating a contractor with transparent pricing, but with Catalysts bid, I could see - line by line - the cost associated with each item, which I appreciated. Their pricing is competitive and very fair for the quality of work that is delivered.Just a couple of months after finishing our bathrooms and doors, we rehired Catalyst to do some framing/drywall/paint work for our primary bedroom closet. We plan on using Catalyst for future house projects as they are very reliable, communicative, and responsive.

Jake, Alex, Travis, Jason and the team were highly responsive and professional contractors. They brought in high-quality sub-contractors to complete a garage remodel and exterior update and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I had several custom requests that were troublesome, but the team spent time problem solving with me to achieve the results I was looking for. They went above and beyond to get me a new air conditioner when mine went out mid-project in the Texas July heat. Their HVAC crew was at my house until 11pm to make sure my family had AC that night! I would highly recommend them.

Catalyst did an excellent job on our combination garage conversion, full siding replacement, and full window replacement. The staff at Catalyst was very responsive, considerate, and understood our preferences well. They also offered useful advice with cost/value considerations when we weren’t sure what we wanted. On top of having great internal staff, one of the best things about Catalyst was their choice of subcontractors. Almost a dozen times neighbors came up to me during construction and asked for references to both the general contractor and the subs because of the good work ethic and quality output. Despite a few delays in permitting and materials Catalyst was able to smoothly manage all aspects of the project. Catalyst was also able to keep the project cost to within 5% of the original quote. I highly recommend Catalyst for any residential construction job.

We had Catalyst do a kitchen remodel for us with Alex as our project manager. We had interviewed and received quotes from several contractors and Catalyst was the best fit for us. Not only did we do a full kitchen remodel (down to studs) but also full house wood floor install, electrical work and some paint around the house. Alex made sure we knew day to day what was being done and what crews to expect. We felt very comfortable with all the crews Catalyst had performing jobs. Of the one or two issues that came up Alex handled them without question, professionally, and transparently. We would without question use Catalyst again for any project.

The good news is that you can stop searching now: youve found your people at Catalyst Construction.My wife and I recently worked with Catalyst and hired them on to renovate our home (kitchen remodel, bathroom remodel, installation of flooring, installation of ceiling fans and lighting, redesign of a laundry room, floor tiling). Throughout the process, they were communicative and direct with us about our hopes and goals for the project and the timeline for it, as well. Based on past experience with other contractors, we were always surprised that they responded to our questions in a timely fashion, offering guidance and advice as best as was available. They stuck to their original timeline well and came in within the budget projected.For context, we were the absolute worst customers we could be, continuously requesting small changes and asking for emendations to the original bid. They not only accommodated our requests but often made suggestions about how best to pursue our requests.Were about to move into the house after a three-month project timeline that they largely kept to (November through January): the house looks beautiful, and were so excited to move in. Call Alec and Alex to get on their schedule soon: they book out in advance, and they fill their days quickly. Weve used Catalyst for several home renovation projects over the years and will continue using them as they are the standard for what a contractor should be. Remodeling and renovating your home is a stressful endeavor and youll find more horror stories about contractors than youll find positive experiences. Catalyst is the exception. This team was on the ball from the beginning and was with us until the end. They never failed to show up, they never fell out of touch, they always made themselves available when we had questions or concerns and they made us feel like a priority throughout each project. They worked to keep the project moving even when material delays occurred. What separates them from everyone else is that they genuinely understand that their success is entirely dependent on completing a project to the customers satisfaction. They are quality in every sense and you can trust that if something isnt done right theyll be there until it is. I cannot recommend them enough and we look forward to our next project with them.

This was our first time using a remodeling company. We needed a bath tub replaced, the tile surround, and some water damaged dry wall in a closet. We looked at several companies and then chose Catalyst Construction. Our experience was great. Doug stayed in communication on every step and their client portal that had the schedule for each step of the way and photos before, during and on completion help everyone stay up to date. The tile job was excellent and the paining was simple job but done to perfection. The plumber was very helpful in answering my questions about the process. I took my first shower in it today and am very pleased with every aspect of the job. I will definitely use Catalyst Construction for all of our remodeling in the future. Highly recommend.

Jason / Catalyst Construction did a complete remodel of a condominium my husband and I own in ATX, in late 2012. Im writing this review in 2015, because every time I enter our condo even now I am thrilled with the way it looks. It housed our three children while they attended college; when the youngest graduated, the wear and tear of years of college living showed. We had Jason totally decimate the two bedroom / two bath unit, and replace everything. We had him cut down the counter between the kitchen and living area to open space and add more counter space. We had him add canned lights in the kitchen and bathrooms. We had new bathroom / kitchen cabinets, tubs, and toilets installed. We had new tile installed throughout the entire place. Everything was brand new. Jason finished the work a little earlier than he predicted, and the work is perfect. The details even down to the baseboards are amazing. Moreover, our condo neighbors told us they witnessed Jason making sure the work crew kept the area outside our unit clean as they worked; our neighbors appreciated Jasons consideration of our common property. Were facing some remodeling work at our property in SATX right now, and we really miss Jason. We wish he had a clone in SATX!
