I especially appreciate that the owner, Duane, called me back last night within minutes of calling and leaving a message. Also wonderful was that they scheduled someone to come out at the time I needed (rather than giving me just a window of time). And, today is Christmas Eve. It really couldnt have gone smoother. Nobody is stoked to drop the price of a new car on a heating and AC system, but when that time inevitably comes for your house all you really want is to know the folks taking that money from you are doing quality work and gonna treat the house as if it were their own.Not only did Dwane get out the next morning after returning an after hours call, but he went above an beyond in the replacement of our system ensuring his employees helped to clean up shoddy DIY work from the previous owners and set everything up properly. The guys hes employed are solid dudes, every interaction Ive had with Derik and Deon have been incredibly pleasant and professional.Genuinely this was the biggest thing I had been looking for as a new homeowner and that was experts to help do right the things out of my wheelhouse, and thats exactly what we got with Custom. I am giving Custom Heating and Air 4 stars. They are receiving this because of canceling an appointment and not getting it rescheduled for two weeks. This isn’t the first time it’s happened either. Having said that, when the technicians do arrive to do swamp cooler start up, they are really good and efficient. They are also friendly and know what they are doing. I’ve used Custom for many years because the actual service is done well & the cost is average.

Technician came out to inspect an A/C unit that had been tripping off. A large well know. Company in the area had been out 3 times and kept trying things that didn’t work. Highly recommend CustomHPACES! Our AC went out and they were able to squeeze us in for an appointment in 2 days due to a cancellation (everywhere else I called was scheduling out 2 weeks). Dwayne (owner) came out to our initial appointment and was super professional, knowledgeable, and personable. They needed to order a part and come back to finish another day which they also did promptly. All of their scheduling, processing, payment, and appointment reminders were extremely professional and well done as well. Our dog was super appreciative as well (see picture). Pat and Brian worked so hard putting piping and wiring around the trim of our house. They were able to hook up heaters and shades on our patio too. They spent 2 days in the heat, working late to get the job done, and even came on short notice to install everything before our scheduled house painting. I cant thank them enough for all the hard work that they did. It looks great and will be a nice space to hang out with friends and family! Everyone that was here for the week was respectful of our home, worked early until late each day, came back multiple times to do adjustments and had great attitudes. Scheduling was a breeze with Brandy. They also made sure we had space heaters before project started, which we greatly appreciated! We would highly recommended HPACES!

He not only installed the fan, he brought it up to code (which apparently it was not) and took the old fan away. He was prompt, professional, and an all around good guy. Furnace Install:*****************I had Mr Dwayne Owner come to my house for a free estimate back in 2008 on installing a new furnace, he did beat everyones offer and got my business. He offered me 10 years warranty on the equipment and 1 year warranty on labor. The furnaces motor broke within 8 or 9 years later and Custom Heating came and replaced it with a brand new motor that we are still using today.Central Air Install:********************Because of the great customer service and experience that Ive always had with Custom Heating, I had to call Mr Dwayne again for a brand new central air install last week and again he offered me a great price compared to everyone else that came to my house. Yesterday his tech showed up as scheduled and installed my new AC unit with a WIFI thermostat that I love, his technicians were very professional, nice and polite enough to answer all my questions, they also worked on better ways to not damage my walls by running all required pipes and cables through hidden spots and avoid any mess in my utility room.Mr Dwayne offered me 10 years warranty on the compressor, 10 year warranty on the coil and 5 years warranty on the labor.I would suggest to anyone who wants a free estimate to ask for Mr Dwayne in person if possible and work out the appointment day/time with the scheduler. Im sure you will be more than satisfied.I will recommend Custom Heating & Air Conditioning to anyone who is looking for better quality equipment and good customer service.

Furnace likely was tripped off due to a leaking humidifier from a gunked up drain tube. I had this serviced last December 2020 (same issue). Very responsive company over a holiday weekend calling me back to schedule a service after the weekend.But, rather than “cleaning” the 7 inch clear tube that is 7 years old with a screwdriver and it seems prone to clogging, why just not replace it? A bit pricey to do an annual check and clean a drain tube.

Our fireplace was not working and I called them and scheduled a service call. The technician came to our house and said the pilot lite assembly would need to be replaced. It was ordered and replaced $495. A few days later the fireplace started to malfunction by cycling off or not turning on. I called them back and the person I talked with said they would note the problem on my account. To make a long story short, some time later I notified them and the owner sent some one out free of charge to investigate the problem. The second tecnician found a loose wire on the fireplace unit and on wall switch, which he easly repaired. He communicated that if there were any problems in the future the wall switch would need to be replaced. The fireplace is now working great, I would use them again, Thank you Custom HPACES.

He said he will ask his boss if he can find a new AC to replace mine that this repair man said they cannot repair. I have used Custom HPACES for several years and knew it was only a matter of time when my A/C and furnace would need to be replaced. When the tech came out this year to do the A/C maintenance and I told him the house wasn’t cooling sufficiently, he clearly presented me with alternatives, including replacement. I asked for a quote and received one the next morning. I found the price to be reasonable and a week later I have a new cooling and heating system.I talked to the owner, Dwayne Haskins, twice to make sure I understood the system being recommended and the work to be done. He answered all of my questions in a way I could understand them and made me feel comfortable with using Custom HPACES and the equipment being installed.The techs doing the work were very professional and pleasant to work with. They were so quiet, I barely knew they were in the house and they made sure not to track any dirt, etc inside. They, too, answered all of my questions and made sure I was kept up-to-date on their progress. The job was actually completed in less time than originally estimated.Given my nervousness on this type and size of purchase, I am very pleased.

The gentlemen that did the work were friendly, courteous and cleaned up when finished. I had to reschedule several times over a 2 month period and the finish on the new toilet handles doesnt match the finish on the other hardware in the bathrooms. Other than that, I am very satisfied with the work done.
