But I wanted to take a minute to commend the technician you sent yesterday: Sal Addotta, who did a great job both explaining to me what was necessary and why, and getting the work done pretty quickly on a holiday. Had a great attitude and I trusted his guidance.

Every part of the process was easy. They were up front about cost and what it would take to get our Furnace and air conditioner replaced and up to code. The turn around was very fast to get it done. Everyone I worked with were very professional and explained the process and how the entire system worked. I would definitely recommend them and will be using them again when we need more work done.

***UPDATE - DECEMBER 27, 2024***Scott promptly contacted me to arrange for a technician, Sal, to visit the next day, Friday. He also provided his personal number so I could reach out directly if any issues arose, which I greatly appreciated.Sal arrived as scheduled, ran diagnostics on my entire HVAC system, and provided a clear plan of action. He returned on Saturday to begin the repairs. However, since the parts office was closed over the weekend, Sal came back out the following week to complete the remaining work.I am grateful for the effort and attention to detail in making things right. The responsiveness and dedication to resolving the issue have been much appreciated._______________________________________________________________On May 25, tenants reported a leaking water heater. I contacted ARS for emergency service and was promised a technician on May 26 between 8 AM and 12 PM. That morning, the arrival window changed to 10 AM–1 PM. By noon, the appointment was pushed to May 27. Due to the severity of the leak, I hired another plumber.I also scheduled an AC tune-up, but it was repeatedly rescheduled due to no-call, no-show incidents (June 1, June 21, June 24). ARS finally completed the tune-up on July 10, after a last-minute text.During water damage remediation on June 21, a specialist found the HVAC drip line (installed by ARS in 2017) was too short, causing water damage. ARS sent David Plant on June 23. He arrived late, inspected the issue, and quoted over $1,000 for the repair. I informed him parts were under warranty and refused to pay until a manager reviewed the situation. David assured me his manager would follow up, but I never heard back despite multiple calls.On June 27, after another missed appointment, I hired another company to fix the drip line. On July 10, technician Cameron Smith quoted another $1,000, claiming labor wasn’t under warranty. I refused to pay without clarification. Cameron provided his manager Scott’s contact, but Scott ignored my messages.On September 19, ARS called demanding payment for Cameron’s visit. I explained the unresolved warranty issue and was promised a manager callback on September 23 at 10 AM, but no one called.On December 4, I received an invoice for $20.24 for the July visit. I called ARS and spoke with Simone, who submitted a request for a manager callback. Scott called that afternoon, but I missed it. I immediately returned the call and left my availability but received no response.While I will pay the $20.24, I am reporting ARS for appalling service. It feels like ARS is stalling to let my warranty expire. I demand a refund for the additional warranty I purchased or that ARS honor their commitment and complete the work at a fair cost.

The technician was great and informative. The service done was great. He took care of my furnace check up and more. The only negative was the wait time for an available technician to arrive. Thats my only reason for 4 out of 5 stars. I do realize they were busy but I hope they can hire more technicians to accommodate busy days. Overall Im happy with ARS/Rescue Rooter and I hope to be a regular customer.

Did advise me about a device I could purchase that would help clean the air of dirt and COVID particles. I told him I would check into purchasing a new bulb for the device we have. ARS has installed both a new water heater and a new boiler in my house. The latter is a tricky one, as there aren’t a ton of companies that work on boilers in Denver, and when they do it is often the case that the staff is regularly changing. Out of the four companies that we’ve had do boiler work, ARS has been the most consistent in terms of figuring out problems and resolving them. Most importantly, they know how to get the work done. After ARS installed a new boiler last year (not an easy task in our house in terms of layout and shoddy work from the previous owner), we had something start acting up this year. The person who installed the boiler was no longer at ARS, so there was a bit of a process getting the issue figured out. Kevin Sims did a really good job identifying the issue and talking me through it — he also gave me hope that the next generation of boiler workers will be reliable and knowledgeable.Unfortunately I did not have a full understanding of what was included in the initial install (which in large part had to do with my lack of previous experience with boilers as well as that the amount of things that needed work was long and hard to follow) and the original installer wasn’t around to ask. The issue that came up a year later was not part of the new boiler, it turned out, and it took a while to find the root source of the problem. Kevin got it fixed the day of the first big freeze of the year so we were able to get our house back up to a comfortable temperature. In the rush and stress around a string of below freezing days with a young baby in the house, I felt that I needed to sign off on the work without having a chance to comprehend the full breakdown of associated charges. I had hoped that it would be an easy thing to sort out and get the full picture of after. It took a couple of weeks, but I was eventually able to connect with a manager to understand the scope of work and why things were approached in the ways that they were. Most importantly, the boiler hasn’t had any subsequent issues.HVAC repairs while winter is knocking on the front door are never fun to deal with. Finding someone who can actually do the work right is often too hard. There will always be frustrations with HVAC companies. But again, at the end of the day I do always know that someone from ARS will be able to figure it out, and that’s the most important part.

Our Technician Trevor was very nice and showed us the video of the error codes on our furnace and explained the parts that needed to be replaced and why. He had to drive to the supplier to get parts and worked over time. My only complaint is ARS almost always has to reschedule unless it’s an emergency.

We had been with ARS for several years and then went with another company for several years. The other company came out for a scheduled maintenance on our furnace and found the heat exchange was ‘leaking’ water. We were told there was no heat exchanger option and were quoted $27K for a new furnace. Knowing that price was ridiculous we contacted ARS and got a much more realistic and reasonable quote and are getting a new furnace in two days.

Friday Demetrius and Alan, encountered a lot of issues as they were installing the unit. They spent most of the day making sure each issue they met was fixed. The issues had to do with the connection of the spigot and getting it correctly connected. I appreciate their commitment to getting everything up and running. Thank you

Cameron came out today from ARS to check out our AC unit. The experience was nothing less than world class. He got straight to work check out the system inside our home and then going onto the roof to inspect the unit. He was very knowledgeable about the system and parts. He told us exactly what the problem was and got it fixed in no time. He even helped us check on the systems warranty and how to get the unit registered. Special shout out to his Manager Scott who really came through for us when we found out the warranty wasnt active yet. Service like this is rare these days so without a doubt we signed up for the platinum maintenance package to ensure we get this level of service every time from now on. Thanks Cameron and Scott. Ill highly recommend ARS to anyone looking for Heating & Cooling repairs/maintenance. You guys rock!

I keep trying to follow up and they have ghosted me every time except for once and that one time they listened to my concern but still didnt submit my paperwork. **update... I followed the owner response and texted the number as directed and my rebate has now been submitted. Overall, I was happy with the pricing and quality so Im updating my review now that the rebate is in progress.

This was not the field teams fault, the scheduling and communication was handled poorly by the customer service team.

Over an hour later I got the call and was told the work would have to be moved out to Monday morning. Im understanding of the work moving out, but not hearing this until I spent all Sunday afternoon waiting for this work to occur was frustrating.

Overall, communication was great from both Ty and Ben and for always answering my questions! We’re very satisfied with this team’s commitment!

We had a bit of a project with our recent furnace installation. The entire timeline lasted longer than it probably should have, with some mistakes made along the way. While those were some pain points we experienced during the project, ARS was ready to correct them.Overall the experience was positive and we enjoyed working with them. But it would have been way better had they accomplished everything the first time around.Among the entirety of the project Heather Graham was the savior of the experience. Despite me finding their email randomly, they assisted me in setting up scheduling for repairs, fixes and even getting city inspection permits done. A gigantic thank you to Heather.Now that the project is finally done I can say I enjoyed working with the technicians, and that their work (now) looks and feels good.

Nathan and an additional tech (sorry I forgot his name) came to work on my furnace today the two of them were incredibly professional and polite. They took their time explaining the issue to me and helped me understand my device options and the necessity. There was a little bit of discrepancy in the price compared to what other companies were charging, Nathan worked really hard to ensure I was getting a comparable price, which I appreciated. The two techs at my house today made my experience a positive one.

It’s day 2 and this time 1000-1400 turned into 1510 with no email or text or phone call updates. And previously I waited for a tech whose truck apparently broke down but I only found this out when I called as I was late to work waiting. Unfortunately some of your techs are very poor with timeliness and communication. Things happen and I understand that but communication goes a long way when you’re already giving up 4 hours waiting.

I moved intto a new build home in NW Denver in 2017. From day 1 I had problems with my two HVAC systems, specifically with AC. Every summer without fail the systems needed some love to get going and they would sputter all season long.Finally this summer I called ARS and a Senior technician David discovered the hidden damage (king valves were tampered with, intentional sabotage by a prior company, probably the sub contractors who installed the units) on Friday. The next day (Saturday) Alan and Al from sales came by to talk me through my options and today, Monday, their installers are here making it all right. Unfortunately I needed two new condensers but without David finding the error that multiple different technicians over the years overlooked, the suffering would have been never-ending.ARS has consistently saved the day for me from plumbing issues, appliance repair, and now HVAC. And their rates are extremely fair. Significantly less than Applewood.Highly recommend.

We had a sewer main line problem at midnight during a 3 day weekend. Andre was out here the next morning, and when it became clear a more extensive job than just a snake was needed, they had us permitted, booked, and the job done in 4 days. I watched most of the work, and these guys know what they’re doing, communicate well, and are professional and friendly. You might or might not find a cheaper service, but if you want your plumbing working, and want it done fast, these guys get it done right. Highly recommend!

ARS still owes me a rebate from Excel. There were repeated times where I was told they were processing the rebate and would give me a number to use with Excel so I could see the status of my rebate. I called and emailed various people with ARS and have been ignored. By now I have probably lost whatever rebate my new AC unit was eligible for. Ignoring me and not following up on their promise was disappointing and unprofessional.Otherwise, although there were a couple of glitches, like having the wrong AC unit installed at first and having to reschedule several times to get the work done, the installation staff at ARS was very responsive in installing the HVAC system, cleaning up, and coming back to check that all was okay with the new furnace, thermostat and AC unit, plus charging the unit.I just wish the office staff and anyone else related to processing rebates and answering questions were more responsive and good on follow through. That was and is very disappointing in an otherwise good experience.Again, the techs were great.
