Lost my steam boiler on the first cold day this season. STIVAN came in, pulled out the old boiler in one day, and installed the new one the next. Fantastic work, professional workers, and management. They did what they said when they said for the price they said. No surprises, just a good job. The techs took good care to clean up after the job and left my boiler room looking better than they found it. Will be recommending them to the Greek homeowners association of Astoria. Additionally, they called a few days later to see if everything was OK. Honestly, who does that anymore. Most just take the money and run. Apparently, they are a local company and take pride in what they do. Highly recommend. ************

Had to replace a sewer line in the basement it was +40 years old .I also wanted to add a shower and bathroom. I could have done it myself but Stivan Plumbing & Heating Co gave me a fare price. When I was considering doing the work myself I thought I would take nearly three weeks to complete with my son and I. Stivan Plumbing & Heating Co did it in three days! I cannot thank them enough, the finished produced was above and beyond my expectations! They even removed the old rusty pipes.

They were the only ones who knew how to do the an oil>gas water heater conversion properly and handle the DOB inspection, removal etc too. We bought a new stove and had an issue with the position of the gas line. Stivan Plumbing came up with a solution over the phone, and we sent some pictures back and forth to confirm everything was going to work before they sent a plumber out.Their plumber showed up a couple hours later, on time, and did a great job exactly as we had talked about over the phone. I could not be happier. They will definitely be my go to for future plumbing jobs.

Stivan staff did excellent work....from the office to technicians. Techs arrived early, were prepared, patient, knowledgable, hard working. They were the only plumbers who were able to repair my little porch radiator, it never worked before. I was very impressed. Will definately use their service again and highly recommend them.

Ive been using Stivan for two years now, but they outdid themselves this morning. They responded to my early morning email and sent their Master Plumber, Eugene, to scope out the water damage in my basement. Eugene took one look at the rust stains on my curtains then asked to see my oil furnace. After checking all the gauges, he explained it was water backing up from my furnace and showed me how to empty the furnace water. He didnt charge me a cent for those precious fifteen minutes of his time. Stivan is the best!

I had issues with my boiler and the owner came quickly unlike others i called. He provided honest feedback on a perceived problem presented to me by a chimney company. His advice saved me money and time. I ultimately decided to change my 40 year old boiler using Stivan Plumbing. They provided a full and clear estimate detailing all parts needed to current code. The work was completed within a week, professionally and without any extra charges. I highly recommend them! Job well done by the owner and mechanics!!

I can’t speak good enough about how great and pleasure to hire this company. I had a gas leak , heater and hot water issue , big job that will need multiple meetings with building department and conEdison. Most of all, it needs someone knows the code and the proper way of doing the work. I found it all with Stivan. We had a large job of replacing all the gas lines in our building - it could have been a harrowing experience but the owner Gene and his team made it a very smooth and easy experience. They were so professional, really experts at what they do, corrected all the violations and made sure every detail was taken care of. They were timely, polite and reliable. Gene stayed in constant contact and walked us through what could otherwise have been a very stressful experience. They have also taken care of smaller jobs for us and our experience has always been consistently excellent with Stivan!

Great service all around. My gas heater stopped working overnight. They answered the phone quickly when I called the next day, a service technician showed up at my place within an hour. He quickly diagnosed the problem, came back with the replacement parts and repaired the issue. Price could be lower but worth the value.
